I got the Japanese fries with miso and ketchup. It was interesting. I will say I feel like the price is a little high. For a 2 fish basket with fries and a drink, it was a little under $20. Yikes The staff were really friendly and was working really hard. Wasn't really a strong fishy smell and I loved the music covers they were playing. I was so excited the CML truck was making a stop in our town…read more.. The event was advertised across social media. In a town like Bozeman where seafood options are limited, the hype was real. The truck was supposed to show up at 12:00 pm. By 11:30 am, there was a like wrapped around the brewery the truck was expected to be. Here's the catch...it was almost 40 minutes late. And the guy driving the truck must've been having a bad day because he wasn't very kind either. The rest of the staff were great and super patient with an obviously frustrated crowd. People had been standing in line for a while and started leaving after 12:15pm rolled around. Many of them simply had more important places to be. Thankfully, I decided to order through the mobile app before we showed up. Though, there was still a long wait. After the truck arrived much later than anticipated, they only filled mobile orders for about another 20-30 minutes. As you can imagine, those standing in line since 11:15 am were very upset. Even after the truck arrived late, they waited even longer to get their orders taken. In the midst of all the chaos, we somehow managed to get our food (at 1:40pm). As far as the food goes, here's my honest review: * Lobster Tots: Not great. I used to live in Vegas and would order these all the time. On this occasion, however, it was lackluster. I had maybe 3 claw meat pieces of lobster and that was it. * Maine Lobster Roll: The best thing of the day. I will never wait in a line like this again but it was good. I feel like the roll itself was smaller than it used to be but that seems to be the case with everything these days. * Clam Chowder: It had a good flavor and didn't skimp on the clams. * Red Velvet Whoopie Pie: if you ask my husband, this was the best thing on the menu. It was such a crazy experience and I can't say it was worth our time. If the truck was on time, it maybe would've been.

We could/should have just got the nachos which is 2 lbs of food by itself!! They were very generous with the seafood on the nachos. I'd definitely order from this truck again, thanks for coming out to Magna!!

I knew at the time my tacos must be delicious because the ingredients were so fresh and the shrimp were so plump and juicy. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste a damn thing at the time. You receive 3 per order and I found that 2 were very filling! You know I ate all 3 though! Ha ha! My guy ordered the Shrimp Poppers. He ordered them the first time as well and has been craving them ever since! They are basically shrimp and cream cheese that are battered and fried. It comes with fries, ketchup packets, and a spicy and sweet mango habanero sauce. Yum! He only got to eat three though since I had to eat one! I was so fat last night! However, I think these could be even more awesome with some chopped jalepeno in them! This is definitely a food truck we will order from again and again! The customer service is excellent! Great food and great people! Simple and delicious menu. Maybe I will have the nerve to order the grilled Octopus tacos next time!

I review restaurants with my OAT method: O= Overall experience - It's a food truck that had benches and chairs, but no umbrellas. It was super hot out and would have been nice to have some shade. We ended up waiting in a car and they just delivered the food to us. A= Appearance - It all looked super yummy! T= Taste - The pork was good, but the only downside with the sandwich was that the bun got soggy fast. I LOVE spam musubi, but this one had a greater ratio of rice to spam. Personally, I prefer it to be more even or spam heavy. The best part of it is was that it was hot and fresh! The mac salad was my favorite! A little trick I like to do for my mac is ask for a side of teriyaki sauce and mix it in.

The eggs were cooked almost perfectly, and the hashbrowns were crispy, not burnt. The sourdough toast was well buttered and toasty. Overall I would recommend this quaint, out-of-the-way, restaurant.

The Asado de Puerco was a real turn off, too heavy on the mayonnaise with a lot of shredded lettuce. It almost tasted like a tuna fish sandwich. The pork was unremarkable and again, except for the mayo flavor, the sandwich just didn't have much going for it. My wife didn't eat her half after she tasted it and it went into the trash.
