We had shrimp, flounder, perch, french fries and slaw. The food was good but in my opinion it needed more seasoning. Our server was awesome and pleasant to the whole group. They have wonderful space for groups. And it was very clean, It's definitely family friendly and they even have a candy section for the kids or for the adult kid. I will go back and order off of the menu just to explore what else they have to offer.

We had a fantastic accomadating waitress. In my opinion food was just mediocre. My broiled flounder tasted prior frozen, it wasn't tender or moist. However those who had fried flounder or other fried fish , seemed to like theirs. Almost all at our table ordered fried shrimp fried fish or other fried seafood. Cocktail sauce, tarter sauce and ketchup also on the table. Prices reasonable for what one ordered. Atmosphere basic comfortable. Food came out hot and plated nicely. However I have had better coleslaw , hushpuppies and broiled fish elsewhere. I also wished there would have been healthier choices such as seafood based green salads, or perhaps soups or more vegetables as sides. Just my humble opinion.

I was traveling after a vacation and I'd never been to Winnsboro; however, I had searched for an…read moreauthentic Mexican restaurant prior to departing our vacation and Winnsboro Fiesta Authentic Mexican Grill has amazing ratings on different sites. I might not be Mexican, but I am sort of a snob when it comes to "authentic." This restaurant did not disappoint in the least. To be honest, one of the first things I do at a restaurant is to use the restroom (wash hands) and see if it's disgusting. If it's disgusting well that's a no in my book, because then what does the kitchen look like? They are VERY clean! Also, the service from the hostess to the server(s), the manager, and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner because people often complain instead of compliment. I believe if things are great that they should be given the proper credit. There was NOTHING and I mean NOTHING wrong with our food or our service. I have eaten at Mexican restaurants around the USA when traveling, and I have to say this is probably a tie with my other favorite restaurant, yet, this was my first time even stopping in Winnsboro. In fact, I didn't even know the town's name. Luckily for me, I don't live too awfully far from there. They were very accommodating for my nearly 92-year-old grandmother who loves spice, but she can't have a lot of it. Also, she isn't supposed to have beef, so they allowed her to switch to chicken instead of beef in the meal. That goes above and beyond. There were three of us and not one complaint from either of us--that's rare for my grandmother to not complain about the most miniscule thing (privately to me). I did tell the employee that only works on Friday that they need to figure out how to can their salsa (both types, but the spicy is to die for in a good way) and sell it. I would have bought several jars or bottles to be honest. I'm a salsa snob as well and this is HOMEMADE! Yet, some authentic restaurants their salsa is hit or miss for me, but that's not on them it's because I'm a salsa snob, lol. I have to say even though it's spicy, I could drink it straight because it is THAT good. The vegetarian fajitas are delicious. I ordered a side of refried beans as well. Their price for their draft beers are amazing especially for the 32 oz. If I could give this restaurant based on service, food, courtesy, the ambiance, etc. I'd give it higher ratings than what I'm allowed on here. Literally, one of the best places I've ever eaten at in my nearly 45 years! I like all kinds of different cuisine, but I love an authentic Mexican restaurant, and you get that in spades with this restaurant. I would say it was 100% PERFECT! You can't say that everything was perfect at just any restaurant, but I can about Winnsboro Fiesta Authentic Mexican Grill! Don't miss out on an amazing restaurant experience.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch Wednesday. Some friends of ours had bragged about the food…read more The restaurant wasn't too busy around 12:20 PM. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. The staff was very cordial and attentive. It seemed unusual that all the employees in there that day were males, no females. I ordered the Pollo Loco which was a grilled chicken breast with mushrooms, cheese sauce, broccoli, and onions. Sides were refried beans and rice. It also came with tortillas, but I only used one. It was delicious and was a large portion. I had sweet tea with lemon and the tea was good, too. My wife had a chicken taco salad and she said it was really good, too. We of course were served chips and salsa before the food and were given more when ours ran out. The restaurant actually has two large sections but they were using only one today. The other section was the one with the bar, but also a lot of tables, too. There was a section on either side of the floor that had raised areas for tables, but it didn't look like they were in use for seating. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean, and mariachi music added to the festive atmosphere! We will definitely go back! It was well worth the ride from our home 20 minutes away.
