Today I attempted to sell back two coins I bought at Christopher's, with the intention of buying upgrades to replace them, and was offered only a fourth of what I paid originally for them. Regardless of how many times I've been in, I have repeatedly been treated by two of the four staff people as a stranger, and today's experience at the hands of one of them was the last straw. I am taking my business elsewhere. One star for previous better service and a star for the inventory--there are better coins available online. I am very pleased to report that the manager at Christopher's reached out to me today (two days after this review) and made amends, both verbal and financial, for my bad experience. I am therefore revising my rating to 4 stars and will continue to be a Christopher's customer after all. Thank you Brian Dresback!

I would suggest making an appointment if you already have a ring or another piece in mind so that you can be helped immediately, particularly on weekends. As part of their service they like to make sure that you are educated as a buyer, which was great for me being that I had never bought a diamond ring before. They had booklets that I could keep and worked with me for about a hour just educating me about diamonds. They brought out several diamonds, showing me different qualities and sizes so I knew exactly what I wanted and why diamonds are priced the way they are. They even told me to go to a few other location first to get a feel and talk to other stores just so I could understand the market and then decide if the ring I had picked there was still the ring I wanted the following week. Overall they really care about their customers and they don't work off of commission, so they are not pushy. The only draw back is that they are still upper end so I would seriously consider your budget if you are planning on buying a ring here. It's well worth it but if you you don't have a solid amount saved up you may be only disappointed when you see all the other rings in the store.
