ZERO STARS.
My…read moreexperience with Lester Glenn Mazda has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!
I spent $28,000+ on a CPO Mazda CX-50 and have had persistent disruptions with hands-free calling from the beginning.
***** MY PHONE WORKS PERFECTLY IN OTHER VEHICLES. *****
A part was replaced. THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE.
Instead of actually taking the time to determine what is causing the problem, Mazda's solution is apparently to BLAME THE CUSTOMER AND CLOSE THE CASE. No solid evidence. No proper explanation. No resolution or research. Just it's your phone... easy way out, huh...
I PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS VEHICLE. I DID NOT PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO BE TOLD TO BUY A NEW PHONE.
*****And then there is Kathy in the Service Department*****
Her treatment of me was rude, dismissive, condescending, impatient, intimidating, and completely uncalled for. She made it very clear that she did not want to hear what I had to say. When I tried to show her additional evidence of the problem, she told me she was "not dealing with me" and walked away. I understand she has family health issues, but keep it at home. It's not my problem.
I was not asking for a favor. I WAS ASKING FOR HELP WITH A PROBLEM IN A VEHICLE I JUST PURCHASED.*** THIS IS A COMMON COMPLAINT PEOPLE PURCHASING VEHICLES IN THE TOMS RIVER LOCATIONS AND SHORTLY AFTER HAVING SOME KIND OF REPAIRS NEEDED, SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE.
This is what customer service looks like after the sale at Lester Glenn Mazda, Toms River, NJ.
I spent 10 months searching for a vehicle and deeply regret choosing a Mazda. I expected better from the dealership and from Mazda. Instead, I feel completely dismissed and left to deal with an unresolved problem on my own. Just like the other customers on here.
If you're considering buying from this dealership, or from any Mazda dealership don't do it. Mazda does not stand by their vehicles. Read the reviews carefully and pay attention to how customers say they are treated when something goes wrong AFTER the sale and by Kathy...
Very disappointing, very disgusting treatment, And absolutely not the ownership experience I expected after GIVING YOU MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!
Closing a case is not the same as resolving a problem--and dismissing a customer is not the same as providing good customer service.

On 10/6/26 Tara at corporate Mazda c/service told me Mazda was not aware of this issue, case closed. It's my phone.
***BEING IGNORANT OF A PROBLEM DOESN'T MAKE IT DISAPPEAR, NOR DOES CLAIMING NOT TO KNOW ABOUT IT CHANGE THE FACT THAT IT EXISTS***
Tara is going off of what service has claimed. Remember, Kathy, the horrendous employee in service, who I had a negative experience with.. like so many other customers have had.., she's in service...
10/7/26 Since you're blaming my phone, tell us ALL, list what extensive research and diagnosing has been performed?
Not Google or CHAT GPT!
You are repeatedly failing your customers, and the complaints about these experiences are all over the internet. It's a small world, and customers talk, people share their experiences, they read reviews, and they do their own research. You shouldn't simply ignore a problem and expect it to go away.
FIX THE ISSUE, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, IF YOU CAN'T FIX THE ISSUE THEN COVER THE COST OF A NEW PHONE AND ALL RELATED EXPENSES. SINCE I WAS NOT NOTIFIED...THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!
The immense amount of stress I've been under has made me physically sick to my stomach!
Is this how a consumer should feel after purhcasing a vehicle at Lester Glenn Mazda? Is this your goal?
**Here's a current lawsuit, worth the read, but just an example of what's going on, Duffy v. Mazda Motor of America litigation. I will add more...
