The tri-fecta! My go to breakfast There is a parking lot but it got very crowded by sharing with the neighboring businesses. The building was also under some construction so building materials and equipment took up a few parking spots. I went with a group of friends so we called ahead, when we arrived we were seated within a few minutes. The waitress was kind and attentive! I love getting the tri-fecta because I can substitute the eggs for potatoes at no additional charge. I got the chocolate chip pancake with bacon and potatos. I've ordered this pancake before so I know what the general size is to be expected. This time around it was smaller than usual. The taste and flavor of the pancake was the same, just the same that threw me off. I looked around and it seems as if everyone's pancakes were a little small too so I thought nothing of it. As more tables cleared and got seated with new guests, I noticed their pancakes we the normal huge size! So I wondered if there was a chef shift change and I got the chef who makes small pancakes while they got the chef who makes normal sized pancakes haha Overall it was a good time and the food tasted delicious! read more

The staff was very nice. We arrived early and waited. And waited. And waited. My 93 year old dad couldn't wait any longer and at that moment, poof, the big table opened up. The wait was definitely problematic. It was at least 45 minutes. The food was great. It took a while to arrive and some of us, a party of 8, had finished eating by the time others food arrived. That said, the food was really good. The place was packed and a bit noisy, making it hard to hear for our older folk. Given the troubles we encountered, balanced with the kind staff and great food, I gave it 3 stars. Even with the troubles, this place is great. I recommend going on a less busy day than Sunday. No Air Conditioning. Waited over 55 minutes for a server. Ok someone probably called in. Sever arrived would you like coffee etc. Yes to coffee and we are ready to order. Sever "Well I am really busy and you will have to wait a while to order". So the sever had the pad to take the order yet did not. Never had this happen before. My sister and I both ordered the choose 2 items and we both ordered the soup (Italian wedding) and the half roast beef. More than enough food. First watch never fails. Today was almost an hour but I think is because the electric outage that is going on in Littleton/Lakewood. But once you are inside looking at the menu the service is nice the food as well. I got the Hacienda Hash that is Chorizo, red bell pepper and potato hash topped with two cage-free eggs any style, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, spicy ketchup, lime crema drizzle, fresh smashed avocado and scallions. My wife got Chile Chorizo Omelet that is Chorizo, avocado, green chiles, house-roasted onions, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Topped with all-natural sour cream and served with a side of housemade pico de gallo. I also got to drink the Purple Haze (Which I highly recommend) that is Lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender. The food tastes great. No issues there. But always double check your to-go orders. They rarely serve consistent meals unless you're eating in. We've had multiple meals that had literally two nibble sized pieces of bacon when paying extra $$$ for bacon. We had to switch to over-hard eggs because the ladle they use to make scrambled eggs is ridiculous. Many times we had less than a full egg. I spoke to managers. I spoke to the GM. All on multiple occasions. They do seem to care, but not enough to fix the actual issues. They've offered us replacement food and gift cards. Very kind. First timer to First Watch! Even though I've seen First Watch in my neighborhood, I've never been for a meal. On a Saturday dedicated to adulting and errands, we decided to treat ourselves to brunch. This spot happened to be nearby so we figured we'd give it a shot! We walked in about 12pm and this place was packed! I'm talking all tables full and a line at the door to check in. We noticed there were quite a few parties wrapping up their meal, so we decided to wait. We put out name down and walked a couple storefronts over to Corvus to grab some drinks. Before we could make it through the Corvus line, I got a text that our table was ready. It had only been about 15 min, so not too shabby! Our server was a super nice guy that started out strong. Unfortunately, since they were so busy and he was tending to a large portion of the restaurant, we felt like we didn't get many check ins (like asking if everything had arrived after a different food runner brought out our meal, minus our toast. Or when our water glasses had been empty and I had to ask at the end of our meal for refills). I don't blame the server entirely; as I mentioned, he was super kind and I think he was just spread thin and relying on the help of food runners/bussers. As for our food- it came out fast and it was hot. Pretty delicious as well. We ordered simple dishes that we probably could have made at home (both got breakfast hash with eggs and sautéed veggies), but that's a perk of brunching, just sit back and relax! Though simple, we both enjoyed our main dishes. We also split a banana and granola pancake. We agreed that it was tasty and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. I'm much more of a savory breakfast gal! I was impressed with their offerings form their juice bar. So that was a plus! However, we found it odd that they didn't have smaller dishes or side dishes like many breakfast spots do (a La carte breakfast meats, potatoes, toast, etc). All in all, it was a pretty good experience with solid food. We would come back, though I wouldn't come during a breakfast rush on the weekend as I can only imagine that wait gets pretty long! Good food, good flavors throughout the dish. The menu is simple yet provides plenty of choices for the health conscious. The atmosphere is good; reminds me of getting into a country farm kitchen so that is refreshing. You can wait for a table or you can sit at a communal table. The dish I ordered, the green chili skillet, was actually very delicious. Great flavor although the tomatillo did make the sauce a little too acidic. My girlfriend & I made our way out to Denver in November. Drove straight thru Detroit to Chicago, Chicago to Denver in 24 hours. The trip was a blast. Got to the hotel, got some rest & got a call from my sister in law. My brother was in bad shape. Before I could focus on my brother dying in a metro Detroit hospital, my girlfriend & I wanted to enjoy one more breakfast with my brother even though we were in Denver. We pulled it together, chin up & had a seat in a cozy booth with what felt like every eye in the place watching us. You could tell we had shed some tears. Our server was so kind, and handled an unspoken situation beautifully. I'm not writing this review for sympathy. I wanna thank the kind stranger, who we suspected was near by & over heard a few key words. I'm not sure why you did that. It's taken a long time to write this review, but I need you to know that kind deed got us all the way home safely..... with a tank full of faith, thank you very much kind stranger. No sooner then we got to our car after enjoying a our delicious breakfast compliments of a complete stranger, I got the call my brother had passed away. First visit to First Watch in Littleton, Colorado and had a wonderful breakfast experience. We were looking for a breakfast place on the 4th of July, and First Watch was open, and with a short wait. The front desk was well trained in waiting times and were sat right on time with the estimated time. Table service was quick and efficient, with beverages served right away and time to look over the menu. Started with a Cheddar Cornbread skillet to share, which was a nice light start, following our breakfast dishes of Veggie Omelet and Classic Eggs Benedict. Both were accompanied by lightly dressed greens but did have the option of diced potatoes instead. Both dishes had fresh ingredients and were served promptly to the table. The dishes were standard breakfast fare, which both were very good. Overall, we would come again, and would like to try a few of the other options on the menu. Our most recent experience was better than previous! I wonder if it's because this location is newer than Belmar. Everything just tasted very fresh and has a light touch to it. From the juices, to the greens, the fluffiness of the omelette, and the perfectly half-melted gruyere atop the golden blanket. The Quinoa Power Protein Bowl is my new favorite! I'm usually not a big sausage fan but devoured the sausage bites among the quinoa grains. If you break the yolk of the fried eggs on top and mix it all up, everything will taste juicier! Service was good too. Unlike another chain (The French Press) that is mostly self serve (hmph!) here at First Watch the only self serve is time to pay the bill and say goodbye, which I don't mind doing at all as it saves time! read more

First Watch has been on my radar for a while and glad I could go! I enjoyed the Florentine Benedict with avocado and spinach on ciabatta. It was just the right amount of food. The hollandaise had a lemony taste which I enjoyed because it complemented the dish and the greens served alongside. My mom had a bowl of fruit and the blueberry muffin (the only muffin choice that day) and the fruit was gorgeous! If you order coffee, they leave you with a carafe which is a nice touch. I've been to two locations so far. Lakewood is much quieter and more spacious than Littleton. The Littleton location has crammed as many tables as they could into a small space. The noise makes conversation difficult and the waitress we had was aggressively rude when I sought a bigger table where my elderly friend could hear me. My poached eggs were runny and not cooked. I'll stay with Lakewood for the future. First watch has good food. The eggs Benedict is very good. And they have turkey sausage as a choice. I think Littleton was just going too fast for a week day and not focused on my needs. read more

This has become one of our favorite breakfast and lunch places because it's hard to find a place with this combination of benefits. First, its menu is filled with tasty combinations of flavors for each meal. They are so good, in fact, they've created a cookbook you can buy with some of the recipes. We bought one. Second, more important than flavor combinations however is that everything they serve is FRESH! Anybody can slap together some ingredients but they only are worth raving about when those ingredients are fresh. Third, the inside is airy, bright and open. It doesn't feel cramped and if you want even more openness, they have an outdoor patio which we've visited several times. On a beautiful day, being outside just adds to the experience. Fourth, the servers are friendly and helpful when you can't quite decide on which meal to pick. (because they all sound so good... and ARE!) Fifth, they take lots of precautions to ensure you aren't needlessly exposed to possible contaminations from COVID. All in all this is a place I'm sure we will frequent once the pandemic ends.
