This place is busy. With very busy places you'll experience different service trends. I had the Eggs Benedict "Classic" style without the tomato. -Awesome! Very tasty. And the side of grilled potatoes were also amazing -5star meal. I also had the million dollar bacon. Another amazing culinary masterpiece, but might not be for everyone. Still I give this bacon a 5star. My wife had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Not her favorite. The ricotta was not "blended" in rather simply "mixed" in, so you get pieces of ricotta with a normal pancake. Topped with a lemon curd, it was not half bad, but not what my wife hoped for and I agree. My son had a kids waffle. He didn't complain but I thought it was a bit dry. Overall 4star. The hostess/staff at this location is EXTREMELY rude. Today, 12/28, the hostess/staff were extremely rude. When we asked for an additional person be added to our party, from 4 to 5 very rudely even rolling her eyes. It was extremely frustrating and hard apparently to add another person to the list. She said it would add an additional 1/2 hour to our already 40 minutes. These young people need some additional training and some supervision. I was a regular customer at First Watch in Tampa, so glad they have one close to me on Wadsworth. They have an app now where you can get in line without being there. The place is busy on weekends. Fresh and healthy breakfasts are served as unique combinations. I tried a kale and apple juice drink that was very refreshing. The crab omelette was very good with a house made hollandaise sauce and salad. It was a lite dish great for summer. Pictures are below. Had brunch here yesterday, the chocolate chip pancakes were great, the bacon was undercooked, and the eggs were just okay. The service was fine, nothing amazing. Our drinks needed refilled and we had to catch our waitress for a refill and ask for her to clear our extra plates. (This is normally automatically done at higher end restaurants). Finally went and tried First Watch, and it was pretty good! The service was lacking. I was a server for 5 years so I know that one bad server does not ruin the whole restaurant. But it would have been nice to have water and syrup on our table before our food came out. I tried the popular dish "chickachaunga" and it was pretty good but I will try something else. My husband got the banana crunch pancake and that was awesome. The pancakes are huge. The coffee was really good! Overall we liked this place and will be back. Might be more of a 3.5, but there are definite areas for improvement. I think that everyone in the neighborhood is so hungry for a great brunch joint that it's easy to overlook their faults. It's like this place knows they don't even have to try, so they don't. And that sucks. Now, I'd say this place is a big ass step above IHOP and greasy diners, offering fresh and locally-sourced ingredients plus healthy-ish options (turkey sausage but still hefty calorie counts). Unfortunately, the flavors are nothing to rave about. And there's really no excuse for the lack of a fundamental like salt. What's good. Friendly service, decent prices, good menu variety, and easy parking compared to downtown Littleton or Denver. You can also head over to the movies after or get your groceries handled basically next door at Trader Joe's. They also have soy creamer for your coffee if that's your jam. What's meh. Bench seats were uncomfortable which doesn't go well with long ticket times. I had dirty silverware and a crusty water cup. As for water, when it finally arrived, it reeked of chlorine. Couldn't drink it. Omelette was bland with the only seasoning provided by the (plentiful) breakfast meats inside. Potatoes were crispy in places but needed more time on the griddle to take it to a true level of delicious. Wife's roast beef sandwich had basic deli meat slices and what tasted like Kraft horseradish mayo, but the parmesan bread gave it a nice punch. So, so close but just not up to par! Things to keep in mind. Get on the waiting list before you leave the house or you'll be stuck standing outside in the blazing sun for a good half hour or so. And if you're in the mood for mimosas, go elsewhere. No booze on this menu! Will we be back? Probably, especially if we're running errands in the area. But our expectations will certainly be tempered. read more

We were there on a Sunday morning at 9:30 and waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. They had water and coffee available while you waited, which I appreciate. It did take our waitress about 15 minutes to come to us after we were seated, but I think she might have been new. The chickichanga was good. The chicken had a bit of spice to it, but the avocados were a bit not ripe. The potatoes were nice and crispy. The carnitas cornbread bowl was also good, but not as flavorful. We mixed the cornbread into the bowl, which made the whole bowl sweeter than I thought it would be because of the sweet cornbread. read more

We were so excited for this place to open, but it wasn't as good as we had hoped it would be. It was good, but not amazing. The inside is decorated really well, and it was clean. They have a great app where you can get your name on the list prior to going. Our biggest issue was that the food was not very flavorful at all, really bland. I got the bacon, cheese, and avocado omelet (Bacardi), and my husband got the seasonal crab omelet. Both of us agreed that they were really bland. Also, there was stuff missing from my meal (pico, potatoes, never brought syrup for my kids) but I was done eating by the time I found our server. Way back in the day, I lived in southern California and once in a while we'd go to the Cheesecake Factory out there. On one visit, they had configured the tables so close together that we never went back. You were practically on your neighbor's lap. This location does that too. They wanted to seat my companion and I in a half-booth situation with one of those tiny skinny tables. There was barely room to squeeze thru the opening between our table and the next table, which people were using. We said we'd wait for a regular table to open up and were much more comfortable that way. That said, I'd be on alert if you're headed into this place at a busy time. Your comfort may be comproised. I had bacon and eggs. It tasted pretty good and the bacon was cooked well. Until, *crunch*. There were eggshells in my eggs which absolutely grossed me out so much that it was weeks before I could eat eggs again. The waitress didn't look like she believed me, but they did offer to remake them (no thanks, see above). I didn't ask for a refund but they took 10 or 15% off our check which was the right thing to do. read more

Then the manager intervened and said no it's 10 more minutes so our time wasn't extended (hostess needed training - app needs clarity) we sat ordered and about 30 minutes later food arrived. The specialty juice with tuneric and beet juice was really good love that they give you a carafe of coffee hate the use those plastic single serve half and half Eggs overcooked for us both. My pancake was also over cooked so not light and fluffy. So was disappointed in the food. This was our first visit. First, the good, well, the VERY good: the food. I had the half roast beef and havarti and half a Cobb Salad. The sandwich was delicious- tender roast beef and flavorful without being super spicy. I really enjoyed the side of horseradish spread- I'd buy a bottle of that! My son had the Bacado with a side of fried potatoes. He ate everything except the pico...and loved it. He had the chai cider- it is basically cold Wassail, and is yummy! I had plain iced tea...again, delicious. But, that is where the problem came in. We got there about 1:20. When we went in, the store was 3/4 empty, but we had to wait for them to clean a table for us. After being seated we waited about 10 minutes before our waitress greeted us. We ordered both drinks and food then. The food arrived in a very reasonable time, and was hot and fresh. That was around 2. I had just taken my first bite when our waitress came to ask how the food was. I told her it was delicious. She put the check on the table, saying we could pay at the counter as we were leaving. That was the last time she came by. I saw her once in the back and once at the other side of the restaurant, but she never came back to ask if I wanted more tea, which I did. I was only about half way through the salad when I finished my tea. I also didn't realize you need to go get your own water until after I paid and saw the water tank there. (Next time I'll take instant tea in case this no refills is just their thing!) Paying was also very strange. Using a gift card here is a major hassle involving being asked to figure out a tip before your meal is rung up, and then being told you can't tip because the card didn't cover the balance of your bill. (I had told her at the start it wouldn't.) I did add a 20% tip on the total along with the tiny bit I had to pay OOP. Looking back, yeah, I should not have tipped them. It kind of freaked me out to be asked how much I wanted to tip before paying- I have never experienced that before. If this is something they do to intimidate customers into tipping more, they should know it only worked once. Next time I will tell them to ring it up and I'll add the tip by hand. That said, the food was great. We will go back, but if we get this level of service next time, the tip I'll give them is that "TIPS means: to insure prompt service", so if you want cash, you need to actually care about your customers! read more

If you order online and do co/d, they always, every single time, without fail, screw up the order. We've ordered many times from this location and they've never gotten the order right. Not one time. They forget the toast. They leave out sauces. Maybe you get the toast and the sauces but, as today, they leave out the bloody CHEESE on an omelet. So even if you check the bag on a carry out order, as I just did because they always screw up the order, you won't see the cheese is missing. At least, not unless you take the entire dish apart and look. Who leaves the cheese out of an omelet? First Watch does. Because they couldn't possibly get the order right. That would be asking too much. If you dine at this location, everything is fine. The staff is responsive and the food is rarely screwed up. Plus, the food is tasty, creative and a nice breakfast alternative. But no matter how hard you try to ensure they got it right with carry one or delivery, they won't. They seem to hate carryout and delivery orders. Perhaps they deliberately screw it up to stop people from placing such orders. Maybe they're offended by the takeout packaging. Maybe the manager isn't on top of the process so whoever puts the order together passive aggressively does it wrong. Whatever the reason, they cannot and will not get the order right. Not ever. So pleased with my experience here this last Monday! We were seated within minutes arriving despite how busy they were so that was great. Our waitress, Kaylee (sorry if I misspelled) was TERRIFIC! She immediately introduced herself and asked us what drinks we would like. She returned what felt like immediately with our drinks. She was so sweet and kind and very in tune with checking on us! Our food was DELICIOUS!! I ordered the French toast with a side of bacon and it was just absolutely perfect. I'm a big breakfast food fan so this made me over the moon happy. We walked in again now coming up on hour 2 and she still couldn't give us a time. And would only sit us at 2 tables next to each other, the party had just got their food and still needed to eat. As other parties of 6 walked in she gave them a time, and we questioned why couldn't they just separate and seat us.
