Brunch at first watch, we're on our way to Orlando, but knew we hadn't eaten breakfast yet. Yes we're looking cute today.

The works omelette, with salad... Although I shouldn't have gotten salad work the parasite going around.... It's clean and I'm fine.

The food was delicious! This was my first time here and I'm so glad I came. Although there were a lot of people, it wasn't loud or had a crowded feeling. Hailee was the perfect hostess and gave Southern back home charm to us. Frank was the epitome of an elite server. He attended to all of our needs and answered all of our questions about the food and drinks. Whenever we come back, we'll be sure to pick up breakfast/brunch at this location.

Had a girls weekend in Orlando and enjoyed a quick brunch. I had the Trifecta - waffle, fruit and bacon. My mom had the avocado toast and eggs. So delicious! We were very pleased! This location is located in a very busy part of Orlando. We had a long wait but it was pleasant and the staff are very friendly.

Taste: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 This was the first First Watch I've visited and I'm pleased to report that we had a really great breakfast! I love that they offer so many healthier options that still taste delicious and super satisfying. Portions were a great size, not too heavy, but filling, and everything came out quickly and perfectly cooked. Our server was really nice and kept things moving without rushing us. I also like that you pay at the counter when you're done, it's simple and convenient. Overall great experience, we'll be back for brunch!

Started breakfast at First Watch Champions Gate, in Champions Gate, FL, with bottomless coffee, even though there's no way I could ever drink that much. The service was quick and attentive, probably because I was the first one in that morning. I tried the seasonal menu item that caught my eye in the photo. It was a breakfast sandwich stacked with bacon, a pork sausage patty, scrambled folded eggs, cheese, and a sweet jam, all on a croissant. I skipped the house-pickled jalapeños because I wasn't ready to go that bold in the morning. The sandwich was huge and filling. I didn't eat it as a handheld, as it can get pretty messy. Overall, a solid four-star breakfast. Next time, I'd ask for the sweet jam on the side, since too much of it kind of overpowered the eggs. The space is open and airy, a good place to start the morning.

Scrumptious!!! Ordered a hash with eggs over medium, I think this is becoming my go-to breakfast order. The mixture of ingredients made this dish perfectly flavored. It was soo much food, I had to take the almost half of it to go. FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE, what makes a great breakfast place? THIS!!!!! Our wait staff was both friendly and attentive. We came on a weekday, so this place wasn't as packed as during peak times where they have a line around the restaurant. Parking is super easy. When you are in the area and want a solid breakfast, this is the place to go!!!

Stopped in for brunch at First Watch and had a pretty average experience. It wasn't super busy when we dined in, but the service still felt a bit slow. That said, I do appreciate the wide variety of options on the menu, there's definitely something for everyone. I ordered the power breakfast bowl and while I really enjoyed the mushrooms, the dish overall was very bland. I don't usually eat anything spicy, but I actually had to add hot sauce just to get some flavor out of it, which was disappointing. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy and thought it was a bit on the salty side, but not terrible. Nothing was awful, but nothing wowed us either. I might come back another time just to try something else on the menu and see if it hits better next time.

Maple bacon croissant sandwich

Our first visit the host kind of ignored us and didn't call our name even though we were sitting right in front (they said I should have came to the podium when we got the text even though they were calling names out loud) but this trip was much better. Hostess sat us pretty quickly (and called our name ha) food was great and the service was great.

I put our name on the waitlist 30 minutes ahead of time. When we got there, we still had to wait an extra 20 minutes. It was a Saturday morning so I understand but just felt like I wanted the wait time to be more accurate. All of the food came out looking gorgeous. Picture perfect, as you can see. Most of it tasted really good but I was disappointed with the fresh toast as it tasted just like plain bread. The waiter was very nice and he make sure we had whatever we needed. Overall it was a nice bunch with my mom and husband. I would go back just make sure I order something else and perhaps not on a Saturday morning.

I'm absolutely loving the holiday menu! I tried the cinnamon chip pancakes and their signature potatoes (which are always a favorite). I'm also currently obsessed with their kale tonic - it's surprisingly refreshing. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. It was a fantastic breakfast, and I'll definitely be returning again soon. I like first watch for good breakfast when you need something quick. I heard the tacos were good too, I couldn't try them because they are pulled pork.

This was my second time visiting First Watch! It's a great location; however, you may have to wait a bit before your table is ready. The food is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive as well! Great breakfast spot!

Great customer service! Was in town for the American Bowl game and our large party with 2 infants was seated within 10 minutes of waking in. Great Service, Great Food!

Salmon bennny with avocado + hollandaise on side
Elnara S.

The food was great! I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict with the hollandaise on the side (strongly recommend the option to folks who don't want their bread soggy!), added avocado to the dish. I think the avocado portion could've been a little more generous -- but honestly between that and the tres leches toast and some hot tea.. I was having a GOOD solo date! Shout out to the kitchen for getting that toast out 5 mins before wrap up. Much appreciated! Quality didn't suffer. Respect.

The ambience was quick paced yet very neutral. Everything else besides our server was really well!

Peach Valley Cafe came up as an option and we all decided to try it. It's in the same plaza as Publix, Celebration Brewing, and Jeff's Bagel Run. The cafe is closer to Publix and Jeremiah's. There's plenty of parking - usually you can find a close by spot as the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch I believe. We've gone twice and were seated quickly. Staff have been friendly and on top of things both times we've gone. I tried the chocolate chip pancake and added a side of scrambled eggs and bacon with it on my first order. Pancake is large enough to share or split between multiple meals. I thought the texture was good, the chocolate chips were a bit too sweet for my liking. The scrambled eggs were okay - maybe a little off cooking-wise but the bacon was crispy. Second time I did the all-American sandwich with eggs, bacon, and swapped out the American for cheddar cheese, with the biscuit as the sandwich. This was very good and the right amount of food. Prices were reasonable and timing for the food was good. They really try to get the food out quickly, which is great.

4 Corners Tavern - ChampionsGate…read more We hadn't been to 4 Corners Tavern in years. Located in the ChampionsGate shopping area, a friend recently raved about the food, so we decided it was time to give it another try. Our server, Nick, was friendly, personable, and helped us with our menu selections. I was excited to see the lunch special was a Chopped Cheese sandwich. Being from New York, I've really missed a good chopped cheese and have been craving one for quite some time. The sandwich came with a choice of side, and I chose the French fries. While it was a decent sandwich, it just wasn't an authentic New York chopped cheese. The lettuce wasn't chopped but simply placed on top, and it was missing the chopped tomatoes and onions that help make the sandwich so special. It was served on a hoagie roll, but the it wasn't smashed together the way I'm used to seeing in New York. My husband ordered the Brisket Dipper, which also came with a choice of side. He selected the soup of the day, a beef and rice soup. The sandwich was served with an au jus dipping sauce and was good, but not memorable. In fact, we both agreed the brisket at our local Ovation Bistro & Bar is much more flavorful. The soup arrived as essentially a cup of shredded beef in broth, and the rice had accidentally been left out. The server quickly brought it over afterwards. When I spotted bread pudding on the dessert menu, I couldn't resist ordering one of my all-time favorite desserts. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. The bread pudding was very dense, covered with large dollops of whipped topping, and didn't taste particularly fresh. Overall, while the service was friendly and attentive, the food simply didn't live up to the recommendation we had received. With more than a dozen restaurants nearby offering excellent dining options, this isn't one we'd return to. If you're dining in the ChampionsGate area, I'd recommend spending your money at one of the many better choices nearby.

The complimentary bread that was served was outstanding, and much appreciated since it's disappointing to see many restaurants doing away with complimentary bread. The lasagna served in a cast iron dish was delicious. The margarita pizza's ingredients were very fresh and the dough was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My only issue with all of the dishes was there was too much cheese on the pizza. With margarita pizza especially, I believe that less is more. Decent non-chain Italian restaurants are hard to come by in this neck of the woods, so if you're staying at the Omni and looking for exceptional Italian food, I highly recommend this restaurant. Great place for a quick and filling breakfast…read more You order at the counter and have to seat yourself, but the staff is super friendly, and they do bring the food to your table and bus the table afterwards. We arrived to a long line to order, but the line moved quickly, and the food came out very quickly. At the same time, there was no push for us to clear out quickly, so we were able to relax to enjoy our breakfast. I had the eggstreme biscuits with chicken tenders added on. The biscuits were fluffy despite being drenched in the spicy sausage gravy and topped with two eggs (I went with easy over). The chicken tenders were juicy and yet stayed crispy in the gravy. My meal was huge, and I shouldn't have finished it, but I couldn't help myself. It was that good. I also had a cold brew, which was delicious, especially when made up with the maple sweetener and a splash of cream. The biggest problem with this location is the small parking lot. It can get very busy on a weekend morning. But the staff is friendly and usually quite efficient once you find a parking spot. I really like the food here. The very first thing I ever ate here was the farmer and it has always been my go to. It is a biscuit with fried chicken cheese, bacon, and apple butter. I love the sweet, salty, and savory altogether. The five and Dime is another hit and I think their signature sandwich. It is like the farmer but instead of apple butter it has gravy and it also has an egg. They also have some pretty good waffles, which is what I get for my kid when I take him here. Their tea and coffee selection is robust. The only downside is that as they have gotten bigger and they have lost some of their personal touches. They used to ask me funny questions and would use that to help find you to give you your order. They might ask who your favorite superhero was and call you that way. Now they just give you a number like everywhere else. The other downside is the price is on the high side and seems to have increased more as of late. Food is really good though.

1/5 -- Beautiful Restaurant, Extremely Disappointing Birthday Dinner…read more I honestly don't even know where to start. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had when it came to both food and service. We chose Palma Italian Kitchen for my birthday dinner and came as a large party. I completely understand that larger groups can present challenges, but there were far too many issues throughout the evening to attribute everything to the size of our party. Several dishes arrived cold, late, or poorly prepared. My dad ordered the vodka penne, and the pasta was overcooked and incredibly bland. It was bad enough that we had to send it back. I ordered the lasagna fritta, which initially arrived cold, and even the center of the meatball appetizer was cold. My fiancé ordered the lobster ravioli, and the pasta was still somewhat hard while the filling was cold and didn't taste right. He ultimately had to send it back and order something completely different. His replacement entrée didn't arrive until everyone else at the table had finished eating. My brother had a similar issue with his steak, which also didn't arrive until everyone else was done. The burrata appetizers came out late. They were good, but by this point the timing of the meal was all over the place. The one real standout was the pasta nachos, which were easily the best thing we had all evening. Dessert was also inconsistent. The chocolate cake was extremely hard and difficult to eat. The tiramisu was reported to be good, while the cheesecake was fine but nothing particularly memorable. What really pushed this experience to one star, however, was the service. Every time we needed to address one of the numerous issues, it felt like we were creating a problem simply by bringing it up. At times, the servers seemed irritated, and I even had instances where I was speaking to them and they walked away mid-sentence. When multiple dishes are coming out cold, improperly prepared, or after the rest of the table has finished eating, guests shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable for saying something. The restaurant itself is beautiful, which honestly made the experience even more disappointing. Our family spent over $500 that evening. Rather than immediately posting a negative review, I tried multiple times afterward to contact the restaurant and speak with a general manager so they had an opportunity to address the experience. Unfortunately, my requests went unanswered and my calls were never returned. I don't expect any restaurant to be perfect, particularly when serving a large party. Mistakes happen. But this wasn't one isolated mistake--it was a combination of cold and improperly prepared food, extremely poor timing, disappointing service, and ultimately no follow-up from management. For what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner, this was incredibly disappointing. Despite the beautiful space and a couple of dishes we enjoyed, I would not return and unfortunately cannot recommend Palma Italian Kitchen based on our experience.

To be a chain, Ovation Bistro in Davenport FL looks like a good time. Our server was Alex and she was doing everything by herself. Tending bar, serving and busing tables. She was a whirlwind. It is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. You enter through the covered patio area, which on a florida day when it was 97 outside it felt cooler on the patio. We ate inside. When you enter, the bar is to the left and the dining area is on the right. There are both booths and tables in the dining area. And high tops in the bar, besides the bar stool. Ordered a craft beer from 3 Sisters in St. Pete. It was good. For lunch we had the sirloin lunch special and brisket wedge salad. The food was not good. It was bad. And in their defense, maybe they were having an off day or maybe their lunch specials are left overs. The brisket was dry and way past it's prime. I sent it back and they brought me back more dry brisket which I guess they soaked in something, but you could tell it was way over cooked and past it's prime. The sirloin steak was not much better and the mash potatoes were at best luke warm. This was very disappointing. Especially after seeing some of the reviews. Suffice to say, this outing was definitely a one star for the food and four stars for the service along with the ambiance. I hate to hurl insults, but whoever is in their kitchen has either lost their passion or they just don't care. Best part of the meal was the wedge salad which was deliscious. The manager did come talk to us and did not charge us. The experience was still disappointing. My expectation did not meet my experience at Ovation Bistro in Davenport Florida.
