When I showed up, they didn't have me in the computer yet. The service manager said to drive in anyway. I needed them to redo a repair from the previous week. It was all good. No charge. I also decided to get an oil change with synthetic oil due to the severe cold weather we had. The price was very reasonable. The staff I dealt with were all wonderful.

She even went to Motor Vehicle to get the necessary form needed to get this inspection done. They went over and beyond with helping him . . . I was blown away. I went in with my 13 month old and it's in an industrial area - so no malls in walking distance to kill time unfortunately. He asked his wife, who also works there to drive us in our car (car seat) to the new outlet mall to pass the time. And then she picked us back up when the inspection was complete. She was so nice! I really appreciated this gesture. That's going above and beyond for the customer. Our car was in perfect condition, which we expected because it's only 2 years old. That wouldn't stop some mechanics from trying to find something small wrong though. He was honest. I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys for automotive repair (if my car needed it, lol). Felt like I was chatting to friends! Definitely recommend!

The very next day she drove it as far as Red Deer before the check engine light came on again:/ She stopped at a nearby shop and got them to read the code. Catalytic converter failed again. I contacted KD, the owner of Icon, who said it was still fine for her to take to Banff and to bring it in when she got back. It drove like shit for her all weekend, absolutely no peace of mind!! So yesterday they had it back there and discovered the head gasket was leaking!! A quick google search tells me that a very common reason for a catalytic converter to fail in the first place is typically caused by a separate issue and a gasket leak is a likely cause:/ considering the new converter went within an hour of driving it again it's safe to assume the leak was already there. So now her $5000 car needs a $3000 repair (gasket) plus a new catalytic converter for $1100. I'm not willing to pay for that big repair and had my mechanic done his due diligence to find the root cause of the failed converter I wouldnt be out the $1300 for the original useless catalytic converter replacement and inspection!! They have refused to give me a refund and are not admitting to any wrong doing sending my daughter off on her first road trip in an unsafe vehicle!! Dont bring your vehicles here. Find a thorough, reliable, TRUSTWORTHY mechanic instead.

The issue I had was that after getting my alignment done my car had a strong pull to the right, they attempted to fix the problem that same day, they just made it worse. Lastnight the owner had gotten ahold of me at home and had asked me to allow them to take another look at the car. I figured why not, I went back in showed the tech the problem was as clear as day. He went in to fix it. They had gotten the machine recalibrated that morning. After fixing the problem they appoligized several times while giving me a full refund. Because of how they handled themselves, they just earned a long time customer. I am the most loyal customer I like to think and I will be doing as much business through this company as I can, even more so because they are family owned and operated

I'M REALLY SICK OF SCAMMERS, AREN'T YOU?…read more I went to their new location at 1544 23 Ave. on the south side. I only went there because it used to be an OK tired. I had an appointment for 8 a.m. to get my tires swapped over. Everyone else, literally at least 10 people had an 8 a.m. appointment to. I managed to luckily be the first in line. After waiting 45 minutes, I was told "We can't put your winter tires on". I've never heard of such a thing. They said one was a dot 2010 and so I needed 3 new tires. I asked them to show me the law that said you had to replace your tires. They could not...because there is NO SUCH THING! They made this up in order to sell me tires. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS AGAIN! One day, someone will sue them for bait and switch which is a Anti Trust law violation and making up laws that don't exist. Don't waste your time here. I went to a small independant garage the same day, had my tires switched over (they aren't on rims") for $90 and they were done in 40 minutes. Go to NBS Auto on 1533 70th Ave. These guys were really busy and still got me in and out in 40 minutes! I would bet they sell twice as many tires without lying to customers in a day than trail does in a month!
