My wife and I have eaten here just the two of us, and today we came with three kids. The customer service is consistently excellent either way, and I wanted to make sure they got some well-deserved credit. Best for: Really good breakfast, great service, generous portions, and good value--especially for families. May not be the best fit if: You're looking for a quiet, spacious, more upscale breakfast/brunch atmosphere. This is more of a comfortable, busy neighborhood restaurant where the food and service are the stars.

The man I spoke to was kind of unpleasant and didn't seem to like taking my order down. I then went to the restaurant to pick up my order, and they didn't know what I was talking about. Turns out the number on this site is for one of their taco trucks in some other location. So they let me place my order and were very nice and apologetic about it. The order was fast and fresh. The man from the truck called me back and said my food was ready after a few minutes and when I tried explaining the mixup, he was rude and hung up. If he doesn't want people calling in orders and not picking them up, he should probably get his number off other locations Yelp pages, I can't imagine this is an isolated incident. If this business has multiple locations, it needs to do better about this sort of thing. My order turned out pretty good. The carne asada was definitely fresh cooked (not old steam tray meat like pretty much everywhere else in town), but the cut wasn't very lean, so there was a fair amount of fat/gristle on the meat, which is unfortunate because everything else about the order was perfect. I also liked their salsa roja which wasn't hot at all but had nice flavor. I feel like this would be a better place to dine in rather than order to go from, especially with all the mixups with the wrong number in the Yelp page. But also they weren't playing music loud when I picked up my food, so that made it seem like I nice place to dine. ***Adding to my review several hours later: I did have to make an urgent visit to the restroom. Results may vary. ***

Even though it was busy, we were seated surprisingly quickly. We started with the blue cheese fries, and wow, these are amazing! The fries are topped with a garlic sauce and blue cheese crumbles. They were so good that there wasn't a single fry left in the bowl! For our meals, two of us shared the salmon salad. It came with a generous piece of salmon on top and was served with a lemon vinaigrette. The dressing had a nice, tangy flavor that paired really well with the salad. One of the kids ordered the kids' mac and cheese, which disappeared pretty quickly! The other ordered corn dogs and French fries. Both were fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The only male in our group ordered from the brunch menu and went with the fajita omelette. It had all the flavors and fixings you'd expect from fajitas, but served in an omelette. He really enjoyed it--and there were no leftovers! We also had to get the house-made root beer from Lodi Beer Company, and it did not disappoint. It's really, really good and definitely worth trying! Overall, we had another great experience at Lodi Beer Company. It was the perfect place to take a break from the heat, enjoy a good meal, and cool off before heading back out to enjoy more of the street fair. We definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Lodi!

Review 1,108 Posted on 9.13.26…read more We came to Maison after arriving at Appellation Spa & resort on Saturday August 29th when coming for our anniversary. Maison is on the grounds near the main roadway that Appellation is on. They've got a bakery here, as well as a wine bar of sorts connected to it. The bread here is so fresh, soft, & good. We ended up getting 2 fresh loafs to bring back home. You can take your food and coffee and sit out back or out front. Tons of people I think stop in here to hang and get a quick bite and just sit outside and enjoy the weather and people watch. Nice place to hang.

I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.
