I cant say such about the horrific experiences with Lucia Construction and Yard Work after finding he was uninsured for the entire year he was being refereed by the First Service Residential and he did so much shotty work Yvonne was there for me as we were forced to gut the expensive and gorgeous Italian tile after Lucia haphazardly installed it! The next Contractor Jason Pinto of Shore Points Home Remodeling LLC turned out to have 16 counts of Burglary and 13 counts of theft, 1 count of credit card fraud and 4 pending charges of burglary and 4 pending charges of theft as he left me with 20 chips out of my brand new bathtub and an unfinished job after being paid for stages he never finished! Yvonne was there through it all picking up the pieces and helping me figure it all out! Thank you Yvonne this world is a better place because of awesome souls like you!

Our experience with Avalon Flooring was a nightmare. There were repeated mistakes, poor…read moreworkmanship, and major delays. They installed vinyl in the wrong bathroom and even inside a shower, removed brand-new subflooring during corrections, installed the wrong threshold, and completed tile showers so poorly they had to be torn out and redone multiple times. We found uneven tile, improper installation methods, and even torn cardboard used as spacers. A third-party shower glass installer also questioned the quality of the work and was unable to install the Glass Shower Doors. The worst part was that Avalon never caught these issues--we had to identify and push for every correction ourselves. Their $1,300 compensation offer didn't come close to covering our losses in time, labor, and business. We documented everything with photos and texts. Based on our experience, we strongly caution anyone considering Avalon Flooring. Read the Consumer Report reviews and the others on Yelp. We reached out to Sharon, Corey, Stephanie and Desiree, VP .

I felt very comfortable with him and his father working in my home while I was out of town and at work. My only complaint was that there was dust all over my apartment after the demolition. I've held off leaving a review until he finished my second project because he's a hidden gem. Once people realize how talented he is, you'll have to join a waiting list to hire him. Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Lastly, he's a friendly guy. I know it can feel awkward having a stranger in your home. Not with Mike. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and you'll be friends in no time.

This is such an easy yet difficult review to write as I can't say enough good things about the…read moreexceptional experience we had with Artisan the past few months. We had just purchased a house in Cape May and decided on using Artisan to renovate our kitchen; all the flooring in the house and the tile on the porch; and, coordinate many of our other needs (ie ceiling fan and lighting installations). Jeffrey was our main point of contact for our project which he helped design; make recommendations; and provide us with guidance. Jeff was patient, communicative, and very friendly from first consultation til the last day. But what I appreciate about him the most is the attention to detail he had and ensuring that everything was done in an order that both made sense as well as left the house in a perfect state. We visited the showroom several times throughout the process to grab samples to take to the house so we could see how things would look in our home. Everyone we met at Artisan was very friendly and accommodating. The craftsmanship and work product was fantastic. After demolishing the old kitchen, they had put in all new kitchen cabinets and installed all new appliances for us. They removed the old carpet throughout the house and put in new laminate flooring. They replaced the carpet in our front porch with a beautiful tile. The list goes on and on. I highly recommend Jeff and the team at Artisan for your home renovation needs! Thanks!!
