First time I went, I was dreading parking fee's, I've had a lot of those since I quit using Metro…read moredue to Covid-19. I was happy to find one solid spot right in front of the hospital. A tight fit buy my parallel parking skills were on point. Only to get off the valet guy watched me struggle parking, but he said "you did great, but you know the valet is free." Well thanks for that info! I got a quick temperature check, I was given a mask before entering to the check in desk. I was here for blood work, and the young man was super nice, quick, and gentle. I usually get poked several times. Second time I visited First Surgical Center was just days later, this past Friday. I was having a outpatient tummy tuck. Again the same procedure was done, then a young lady walked me over to the surgical office for check in. The RN's, Anesthesiologist, Doctor, and everyone who communicated with me at length was knowledgeable, pleasant, and sincere.

Stay away from this hospital. They are not enforcing CDC guidelines and allow people to work there…read morewho refuse to even wear a mask during a global pandemic! This is fatally dangerous behavior, and they have completely unacceptable sanitation practices. The attached photo shows the two people who screamed in my face without masks who are standing in the ONLY patient entrance/exit this morning after screaming at me from 18 inches away without masks and repeatedly refusing to back away. I was told where to pick up my husband after his procedure since I couldn't come in (bc of the pandemic) and was told they're be out in 5 minutes. I was in the patient pick up area and the valet came over and told me to leave. I said I was waiting on my husband who had just been under full anesthesia and I was told to wait here. The armed officer came over and lied and said my husband was in another building. I said, no he's here and I am picking him up. She kept yelling without a mask on about how I needed to leave the pick up area. I again stated I'm picking up my husband from his procedure. I had only been there 1-2 minutes at this point. The two people in the photo came up to my car telling me to roll down the window. They removed their masks (and kept telling me to take off my mask) and screamed in my face to leave. I was waiting where the nurse told me to so she could bring out my husband from his procedure. They repeatedly refused to back away at all or put on masks, so I rolled up my window. The valet started yelling obscenities loudly at me because I rolled up my window when they repeatedly refused to back away or put on a mask. I moved my car twice to places he was pointing at but they kept screaming anyway. The last time he screamed obscenities at me because he wanted me to move another foot. I don't know why they wanted me, the only person there picking up a patient, to leave. My husband came out with the nurse. The valet and armed officer found it necessary to start yelling at my husband (who just came out of anesthesia) as the nurses were giving me discharge paperwork. I have NEVER been at a medical facility where people are allowed to freely project their germs during a pandemic or scream obscenities at people trying to pick up patients...until today. Truly disgusting behavior in normal times, and absolutely abhorrent lack of care during this time.

Run run run! This was the absolute WORST Dr. experience I…read morehave had. I came to see Dr. Perez as a new patient at this location. Unfortunately my insurance was no longer taken at my previous doctor so I found this doctor online and thought it would be a good transition. Her reviews were not stellar but it seemed like she would be understanding of me. Boy was I wrong! I'm in a transitional phase of my life and having the right primary care is extremely important and a good doctor is what I was looking for in Dr Perez. Her bedside manner was absolutely disgusting. When she walked in she had an attitude and immediately told me that she would not be refilling my prescriptions (I had previously discussed with her medical assistant prior to the doctor coming in) that I have been taking for eight years that were prescribed to me. As a new patient I needed refills and blood work. When I asked why she was not able to refill my prescriptions she basically said that she didn't want to and that they were controlled substances and basically labeled me for some type of pill abusing patient. I normally wouldn't be sharing information like this but I hope it helps someone make a decision on coming to this practice or not. Definitely do not come here. this doctor should not be allowed to practice. The medications I was prescribed I have been on for multiple years and I genuinely am a normal person that just wanted my medications refilled so I could go on about my life. I am absolutely mortified by my experience at this location and dealing with this woman. I wasted my entire afternoon and was so devastated after this appointment I really wish doctors would be more careful on how they treat people because they can truly make or break someone's day / life. I feel like the doctor did not care about me and put me in danger by her words and actions on this visit. Her hair and attitude was a mess, she was extremely sloppy extremely rude and unprofessional. She clearly does not take care of herself, I would not trust anyone that comes across like this woman Dr Perez as a medical professional to take care of me. I don't recommend her to anyone! I was not well tended to by this physician. She asked irrelevant questions regarding my health. The actual location has good parking and it's clean. Unfortunately Dr. Perez is the only doctor at this location and I really think the company should hire a different doctor that is able to hopefully be a little bit more educated on how to handle new patients and take care of people that actually walk in the door that genuinely need help. Awful awful experience from this doctor! She should be fired! I hope nobody else has an experience like I did. I also hope she reads this so she can understand that she could be affecting people very negative if she doesn't change her approach and her job as a medical provider is to care for people.

Caring doctor that gave me my life back!…read more When I met Dr. Loftus I had already seen three neurologists before. They all gave me the same exact treatment regimens and then when I failed the answer was always the same "Just try to learn to live with your migraines". A nurse friend of mine raved about Dr.Loftus. At this point I was about seven years into chronic daily migraine. My life revolved around them. I didn't drive because I was scared I would have a migraine attack and not be able to see. If I did go out I had to make sure I had medication with me just in case. I knew to be in bed at a certain time before the migraines would hit. When I got to Dr.Loftus I was hopeful at the fact he didn't seem phased by the previous medications not working or anything the previous doctors had said. He is always on top of his research and knows everything about the newest migraine options. He always had a plan regarding medications and never gave up on me or never referred me elsewhere. He also would always find ways for me to save on super expensive migraine meds. Once he even walked over to the pharmacy with me and got them to honor a coupon code! It took a long time but I finally got to a place where I never thought I would be. I figured at best maybe I could have a migraine four days a week that wasn't excruciatingly painful. Thanks to Dr. Loftus's persistence and care I got much better than that. Currently I have a headache maybe once or twice a week and it's bearable. I can drive without worrying and it's really nice to not have to carry migraine meds with me anymore. I am grateful to have Dr. Loftus's care and I would happily recommend him to any fellow migraine sufferer.

I suffer from small PSS seizures but I am able to manage them without medication for the most part…read morebecause I know my trigger. I suffered a grand mal seizure this morning for the first time in my life, and my face is bruised and swollen and battered. My roommate found me seizing on the floor with blood pouring out of my mouth. I called the office to schedule an appt this week, obviously it was an emergency, and Dr. Loftus is the only one who knows my medical history. It had been over a year and a half, and the doctor said he would not see me because I did not see him regularly. This shows a lack of care for patients, and I am disappointed and distressed when really all I needed was help from my doctor.
