I would come in 15 minutes early and sit there for upwards of 45 minutes before going to a room and then sit in the room for another 30 minutes. Here - they must be scheduling wizards because on the three visits I have had, I was checked in, sat for about a minute (ok, maybe 5... maybe) and was then seen by the assistant and then within minutes the physician. An appointment that would have taken my close to two hours previously was like 20 minutes. I LOVE THAT. Not only that, everyone, from the front receptionist to Dr. Sobhani was courteous, attentive and helpful. Top-notch medical care, efficiently... isn't that what we all want?

My main irritation is the computer sign in nonsense. They aren't the only ones doing this, but I just don't find it a cinch. When I'll I'm even more disliking computer technology. Once in nice doctors and nurses. They've correctly diagnosed my various infections. The prescriptions they ordered for me worked. If you have a serious injury, please go to the emergency room. Yet for illnesses like the ones I mentioned, here's a place to consider. It's convenient to the 24/7 CVS pharmacy too.

Absolutely unacceptable and I will not be returning to this practice. Only giving 2 stars rather than 1 because I was able to get a same-day appt and the PA who saw me was nice, competent, and addressed all my concerns.

I told her I have low blood pressure and she pumped the cuff up very high. I told her it was painful. That roughness and pain made me nervous when she said she would do the flu/covid swab (instead of me swabbing myself) bc I was worried she would be too rough. Indeed, she used two swabs at once and a lot of force. My right nostril is hurting and I smelled a bit of blood after she was done. I've been swabbed a lot the last few years and it was never this rough or painful. I'd suggest she go slower and gentler with the nasal swabs --and maybe even one at a time. She could accidentally hurt someone with her current technique. I'm still in pain as I write this so hopefully there's no lasting damage. I also had a pretty frustrating experience on the phone with support. The confirmation page says you should be able to adjust arrival window from the link in a confirmation text. I could not. When I called to do that, it took over 15 minutes and multiple attempts for the person helping me to correctly understand that I was asking to end my availability 2 hours earlier. I was a bit surprised the provider didn't want to draw basic labs given my symptoms and complex health conditions.

I told her I would call my insurance first and then make another appointment. I made another appointment for an EKG and there were no notes stating I needed an EKG. When you call the imaging center they give you a choice locations and I always love to Tysons location because it's easy to get to, it's newer, clean and the staff is really friendly. They are open late & I chose a late evening appointment, 9:45pm, becuase I love going at night. It's peaceful, not busy, & you're in and out really quickly. I lost 17 pounds not quickly, but fairly easily with his guidance. Most stuff can be handled via email so I don't need to take off work. Highly responsive. Not a pill pusher, but highly respects my ability to make choices for my body even if it isn't the choice he would make. Financially I was able to pair his fee with a slightly higher deductible plan at work. The combination of the two was actually less than what I was paying working for a school system and I get significantly better care.

He is a very caring PCP, but I think where he lacks is experience. In all honesty, if you get a cold, or a cut, he is amazing. But if you get a bout of meningitis or another illness which is chronic in nature - i would stay away until his practice matures. I have total faith, it will. He's definitely not a 1 star doc and he is trying his best to be a 5 star. To me, Dr. Joffee is a 2 star only because I have seen better, thats all. In my opinion, to most he is probably a 3-4 stars.
