First off I was very pleased with him from the moment I called. He asked every question that an FFL…read morewould need to ask in order to give the purchaser the highest possibility of getting the purchase through on the first try. He made sure to point out that his business operates out of his home and gave a few other instructions about what to do after getting there. When I got there it was a nice house in a rural area. No big deal, I'm expecting a guy operating out of his garage. However, that isn't the case. He asked me to go down to his basement where his gun store is. So I walk through his living room, down a flight of stairs and then to my amazement there's an entire gun store in his basement. It's a sight to see. My wife and I test fired the gun we purchased right off his back porch which was cool, made the purchase and then we were off on our way. I'd certainly recommend this guy. He didn't make my wife feel dumb about guns and his attention to detail to ensure that his customer had everything needed to make the purchase as easy as possible was impressive. He's got a passion for it. I'll be making the trip to buy all my firearms from him.

My wife and I were shopping for a gift for an old neighbor and I saw an excellent deal on an automatic out the front pocket knife. We were met by Dean (owner) and his employee. This was the coolest gun store I've ever been to . The items for sale blends in with the military decor. Dean was very helpful and friendly we were so happy with the customer service and the shop that my wife who normally doesn't do gun stores wanted to buy a sweatshirt. Lots of older guns and newer guns as well as ammo and knives. Very good mix of gear. I recommend everyone come and see Dean and check this place out. Its so unique.

Even though the class covers most of the basics as mandated by the state I still learned a lot of information despite the fact that ive been firing firearms for 15 years. After seeing the level of instruction at Creek Side I will be sending my wife here to learn about firearms as I dont have the patience or attributes to teach her as well as Creek Side could. A+ in my book.

Clean and well spaced with plenty of lanes. People in other review mentions it's 10 dollars for targets, but we got 4 for $7. But you can bring your own anyway. Knowing nothing about conceal and carry steps, but recently having an interest, I ran across a…read moregreat Groupon deal and signed up for the 16-hour course. It was a little difficult to figure out how to use the Groupon on the website, but calling the agency a couple of times helped me resolve the issue. I registered for the two-day course online and the first day I arrived about 5 minutes before the session started. Larry, the first instructor, was kind to wait almost 20 minutes for everyone to arrive - but I would have preferred to start the class on time. The second instructor, Bill arrived later and brought all of the energy and entertainment. The instructors seemed to complement each other and both were very positive, patient and knowledgeable. My favorite part of day 1 was the simulation activity. I would have preferred fewer and shorter breaks to allow more time for additional simulation time. Day 2 started at the Eagle Sports Range to qualify for the Concealed Carry License (CCL). While the Groupon for the course was a great deal (I paid $18), they make up the low price of the class by having a long laundry list of potential expenses (e.g., renting firearm equipment, CCL application assistance, fingerprinting, etc.). Although they send an email prior to class with the list of expenses, it would be more helpful if the itemized costs were listed on their website. When you go to the website, flat fees are listed, but the Groupon does not include most of those fees. From talking to a friend about their experience with a different agency, their course offered a flat $150 fee that covered everything - which I would prefer. So if they are going to offer a Groupon, I'd prefer they include all the costs upfront. I also don't care for the extra 3% fee for using a credit card. Overall though, it was a great learning experience for me as a novice and I'd recommend it
