My ductwork was probably installed 30 yrs ago during the house build, but he did not clear my line due to the metal brush used to accomplish the clean. I was told it equipment might tear the ductwork, and he was allowed to complete the cleanout due to the age of my ductwork. The technicians only resolution was to replace all my ductwork is located between two floors in my house. He would have to put holes in my ceiling in order to replace the ductwork, and that would not be able to repair my ceiling once the replacement was complete. That was acceptable to me therefore your company's service was incomplete from my point of view. Not being able to complete your service without quadrupling the customer's cost is ridiculous. I appreciate what was done, but I wasn't completely satisfied.

When the tech arrives he said it was going to be $450 to make them look new, and that at the least it'd be $250. I told him I wasn't planning on paying 3x as much and that we had the $80 coupon. He said the coupon was for move out only, light cleaning (nowhere was that mentioned) and could go as low as $180. I didn't think I'd have to haggle on the carpet cleaning. I told him I didn't have the money for that and he left. Called the number and the man I spoke with said the pricing didn't matter based on furniture or not. Eventually he said the price would be $180 for the 4 rooms we had and stairs with pretreatment (stairs were $20 and pretreatment is $80!!) Sounds like either their tech is trying to pocket some side money or just over charge. It appears the ValPak deal is just to get them in the door where they can gouge you for add ons. Definitely wouldn't trust / use this company with my carpets.
