Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Finished paying card off over a several day with a handful of payments. First Premier promptly suspended all my credit privileges and requested a fax proving that my debit card was a verified means of payment. One of the payments had been for over $600 and had been made with my Navy Federal card, but they also required verification that it was a legitimate method of payment. I faxed all the required documents to them, and included my drivers license and military ID. After a day and a half they had neither reached out to me nor freed up my credit card, and blithely went home before a 3-day holiday weekend because of course it's not their life. Back when my card was maxed out they blew up my phone, but when they freeze my credit they send a notification via snail mail, which I did not receive because I'm in the middle of a move. If they had spent months calculating the worst time that they could do this to me, they could not have picked a more damaging day. They insulate themselves from any phone contact aside from a few customer service agents who don't know anything, and you are forced to navigate through a lengthy automated menu to even reach a live individual. I literally cannot think of any suitable adjectives to express my disgust with this company. read more
