Their dedication , communication and commitment to doing the job right really stood out. I would highly recommend sunshine roofing and remodeling to anyone looking for a contractor who truly cares about the quality of their work for their customers! FIVE STARS all the way!

Brad arrived on time and clearly explained each step of the roof evaluation. We received a detailed report with photos and explanations the same day, followed by a prompt price quote. He also noted that their team can assist with HOA approvals if needed. Overall, Brad was professional, informative, and a great representative of High Performance Roofing.

I strongly recommend IFC Roofing and Tex Farrar. IFC Roofing and Tex are very familiar with the…read moreinsurance company process and came out and did a complete inspection of our roof, gutters, screens, and windows. When the insurance adjuster came out there wasn't much to dispute as IFC Roofing had already identified all the issues to address and it was 100% accurate. For those wondering - I would contact a roofer before the insurance company as the roofer is going to identify everything to be addressed including gutters and screens and windows - let insurance argue why it doesn't need replacing. An experienced company like IFC Roofing and Tex will have everything covered for you. The great part is IFC Roofing will also serve as your general contractor and arrange for the gutters and screens to get done on your timeline so you're not missing work or appointments. I'm fairly hard to please as we built our home and IFC Roofing and Tex were a professional team who tore off and replaced our roof in 1 day, then cleaned up where we didn't find a single nail - that was of great concern with our dogs. We upgraded the roof to Class 4 shingle for better hail resistance (Google) and now save a little over 25% (TOTAL) on our homeowners insurance. ROI, 2.35 years in our case for the upgrade. Already received a check back from State Farm on this year's premium. I'd encourage you to call IFC Roofing at their main number (817) 706-6070 and maybe ask for Tex Farrar. Can say enough positive things about both!

Our issues started last year, after a storm took off several of our roofing shingles. My husband…read moreasked his dad if he should just get a handyman to replace the tiles. His dad talked to his beloved neighbors, whose son works in roofing--and that's how we got connected to IFC Roofing. Robert Melton inspected our ten year old roof, took pictures and claimed it was time to get it replaced. (I'm hard to convince, because as long as water isn't pouring in, I feel it's doing its job.) Robert told us he would handle everything, and even get some of the other storm damages around our home fixed--like the garage door and fence. The first hurdle we faced was our solar panels. The company that promised they'd remove them in the event we needed to replace the roof, put us in contact with contractors, who quoted us an exorbitant price to remove them, and reset them afterward. Robert would have worked with them--but they refused to guarantee their work. Months went by--I thought we were forgotten. Robert was haggling with our insurance company to get the solar system covered, for a contractor he found--who would guarantee their work. He kept up communications, assured us things were moving along, as we waited on the claims process. Finally, in February, everything was lined up, and we set the time and date. Robert had let us choose the colors for the roof, the new gutters, and the replacement garage door. My husband paid extra for upgraded shingles. I'd asked for rain chains by my back patio, and he had several styles I could choose. The solar company came in the morning to remove our panels, and Robert's team started work after they were down. The actual roof took about two days, but most of it was done in one. For two days it was chaos in my yard, but the whole team was fast, professional, and efficient. One tiny sapling in my yard was slightly damaged--but it's coming back. All of my other landscaping was protected, and untouched. At no point was the roof ever left uncovered, or unprotected. On day two they came back to reset the solar system, repair the fence damage, replace the garage door, anchor the rain chains, and clean up any debris that might have escaped. The roof looked spectacular. I was upset, because the solar panel company, (I'll review them separately when I find their company name,) didn't replace the metal skirting frame around the panels. They told us that these were a fire hazard, because they didn't allow air to circulate around the panels. It seems companies don't even put them up on newer systems. I pointed out that the hollow metal tubing they hang the panels on, looked terrible, and I worried birds or wasps could build nests inside them. He said he'd look for a solution--I didn't believe him. A few days later, he returned to put end caps on those open framing tubes! I am so pleased! We've been homeowners for 40 years, and we've run into contractors of every stripe. I'm used to being let down by those who promise more than they deliver. I've had to follow up to ensure work was done according to code, and I've had to hire other companies to fix jobs not done right. Robert Melton with IFC Roofing didn't let us down. He handled every concern, wrangled with our insurance company, connected us with other contractors, filed all the paperwork, and even connected us with a tree service to take down a problematic tree. (We went with another local company.) Communication was over and above, and he handled any concern we had. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing roofing work done.

Where to begin? Finding a contractor to work on your home can be a scary process. Are they insured?…read moreWill they complete the job? Are they trying to overcharge you? You could take your chances with a random Google listing, or you could call Buford General Contractors and get real professionals. Our job was a complex one. Our house is 40 years old and was suffering considerable wood rot on the deck that had spread into the side of the house. This caused not only a rickety, rotting deck, but water leaks in the house where the wood had rotted through. Not good! What started as a simple deck resurfacing turned into a complex job involving rebuilding the deck stairs, ripping out the old rotten wooden deck surface, replacing it with more durable surfacing that was resistant to rot, and this is the most hairy part.....finding the source of those water leaks and stopping them. One great thing about Buford is that they have great relationships with local subcontractors. If something is not their specialty, they have a Rolodex of numbers they can call for vetted, quality contractors to assist. This job required many specialties, and they coordinated with specialists to give us a great job done the first time. When big storms came after the job and there was still some leaking, they had a man onsite that day who quickly identified the source of an additional leak coming from rotted trim boards above the deck. This was very good and totally not their fault, as the trim boards above the deck were not part of the deck resurfacing, stair rebuilding and wood rot remediation of the deck itself. The price for this additional work was more than fair and it was done quickly and professionally. Seriously, if you live around Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville or HEB, call them. They were always prompt, professional and reasonable. Not too expensive and not too cheap. You get what you pay for, after all.
