October 2023 Pearson roofing was hired to replace my siding. They hired a subcontractor who did below average job. I reported the substandard job to Pearson. Pearson came out and looked at the work and said well it's not an A job, but it will do" The paint has swirls, parts of the house were not replaced or repaired only painted. I was told by Pearson they would address these issue. I was told it wouldn't be until after Christmas. I should've asked which Christmas it's been six months now and I've not heard from them. Bottom line Pearson hires, substandard contractors who do below average work. They don't speak English. They're sloppy, did damage to a statue that I had in my yard, left the water hose out in my yard with the water left on the entire time they worked on my house. broke the spray nozzle, and they left my lawn full of nails. I was very surprised at the results and the manner of which Pearson handled this job. read more

I just read the reviews, and it seems almost everyone agrees with how good Pearson is. I agree wholeheartedly, and here's why... hail damaged roof in McKinney March 2019. Bad news for most of us, since it means lots of damage and headaches coordinating with our insurance company. We lost two cars as well, but luckily everyone was safe! We asked our Realtor who has almost 20 rental houses for a referral, and she immediately told us about Jason. He had worked with her for almost a decade, does all her roofs, and trusted him completely. We also knew the business card he gave us had not come from Vista Print last week, like so many of the random "Roofers" who came by in the following weeks! We trust her judgement, and talked to Jason extensively, who explained the process, and it all seemed fine. Then we told him about our trip to China. Hail storm last week of March, our 5 week trip scheduled first week of April. Jason didn't blink... "No problem at all, I will handle the details, keep in touch via Email (time zones 11 hours apart: yikes!), and let you know of any issues" Sure, I have heard this before, we all have, right? Emails were minimal. No hassles on my end, Jason took care of all the details with Farmers Insurance (who I also have to give credit to), and scheduled all the contractors and supplies. I came back 4 days ago to a brand new roof, flashing, vents, new screens, gutters, garage trim and 2 new windows. Shutters already scheduled to be replaced. Did I forget anything? Nope, don't think so. This was the easiest major repair/replace I have ever had done, and I wasn't even around. If you want a stand up guy who does what he says he will do. Who does it with the quality you would expect as if he owned it himself, Jason is your guy. Jason has my business for as long as it is hailing in Texas! The June hailstorm prompted our first experience with needing a new roof. On recommendation of our neighbor, we worked with Pearson Roofing. They put on a fabulous roof with architectural shingles with ridge vents (that helped lower my electric bill). After a hail storm, my insurance company refused to pay enough to replace the roof. Rick worked with us for 6 months to get approval from my insurance company. The insurance company finally agreed to pay a fair price, and we finally got the new roof that looks great. read more

When I met Jason I knew right away he was the one I wanted to work with. He was very polite and not pushy at all. The initial inspection and working with the insurance is great. However, scheduling and subsequent followup is lousy. Initially it was scheduled in the beginning of June but due to heavy rain on the scheduled date. I never able to get an answer when they will come. Then one night late 10pm, I heard loud truck noises in the back alley and fortunately I opened the garage to see what's going on - they are trying to drop the dumpster in front of the garage!! - No one ever called me to inform they will be starting the next day and I can't even get out of the garage and I have dogs that needs to be scheduled to be boarded otherwise they will freak out when they are pounding on the roof. After some arguments with them, they move the dumpster away and promised to call next morning to confirm to start on day after next. Then at 1am, they came back and dropped the dumpster in the front of the house. The next day at 7am , I went for breakfast and scheduled the dogs for boarding the following day, at 730am I returned home because I forgot to take out the trash.... and discovered they already started the work !!!! and I am really upset about this, called the salesman and he had no idea they are starting, called the office and the person answered has no idea neither. After the work is completed and I discovered each ridge vent is much shorter than before and I called the salesman, they agreed to fix it and of course waited several uncertain weeks just like before and then they finally fixed it. Now, they have all the extra shingles, nails, ridge vents left in the front of the house and do I have to constantly calling them and will they ever come and pick it up ? Am I expected to clean up the work site ? read more

We had a leaky roof for years, but when the rain started coming right into the house, we gave them a call. They patched our huge leak the very next day and soon came out to replace the whole roof. Mike successfully negotiated with the insurance company. His guys were quick and efficient! When they were finished, we didn't even know they were there. I mean cleaned up every bit of evidence! People, be aware of this company. They promise you the world but deliver bad product. I had a perfectly looking roof before the hailstorm hit Carrollton, TX. After skilled and very persuasive sale person, I hired Pearson Roofing to change the roof. One month after the repairs, my roof looks like an ocean, there are sections of the roof that go in waves. It looks HORRIBLE. After contacting Pearson Roofing, the co-owner is telling me that my roof looked the same before repairs and that I have a decking problem. He was telling me about the decking problem despite of the fact that I provided several pictures of my roof before Pearson involvement which shows that my roof WAS IN PERFECT condition before their repairs; as such, there were never any decking issues. The co-owner had hang up on me after he realized that his "decking" excuse won't fly with me and that I have pictures to prove that. I have an open claim with BBB where the original deadline of 11/1/2011 for Pearson to contact BBB has been extended now to 11/10/2011. Pearson Roofing uses CHEAP product. There is one closed claim on BBB as of 8/18/2011 related to bad product quality. They used cheap felt which caused the roof to go in waves. But the worst part is that they are not willing to fix the problem. I hired an independent contractor who concluded that there are no decking issue and that they used cheap felt; however, since there are some sections and not the entire roof that has been affected, the problem CAN be fixed in 3-4 hours of work but Pearson Roofing is not willing to do so. They act completely unprofessional, don't care about the reputation of their company and don't care about their customers. They are chasing after new business and can care less about their prior work. They have lied to me, hang up on me and they will do the same to you if you ever have any problems. BE AWARE OF PEARSON ROOFING! I am filing a law suit against them for the misrepresentation of warranty. read more
