A couple of days later, I came back to the same location of where the ATM however I soon discovered that there is no branch there. So I looked the place up online and found out yet again, there's really no branches anywhere, except for one! I thought to myself- This is perfect! I called first before I came to ye branch in Tyson's Corner. Get this- the person who I spoke with is the same person who is helping me setup the account some three hours later. Over never experienced that kind of service at any bank in my entire life. I have a good feeling that things will go well with my new account!

I usually go to the Vienna branch for day to day banking. Most of the times that I have been in this branch there was no wait time at all and the most I have ever waited was about max 3 minutes. Employees are very polite and they try to help as much as possible. I refinanced my home loan with them as well and it was very easy and with no drama and got a competitive rate with no point. Ability to access my safety deposit box 7 day a week is ideal for me since I can leave all valuables in the bank and do not worry about it.

My father, as ay vet, has been in decline since January and since then, I have had to manage his finances. Despite having a POA and my dad telling their security person in his own words to give me access, I still have not been able to bank online using his account. They have required my father to jump through hoops that he simply cannot do - hence why I have a POA in the first place. They want him to do ridiculous things he's physically incapable of doing: going into the branch (he can't walk) or signing his name three times (he has tremors and can't write or even feed himself). I've made more trips to this bank this year than I have to any in my entire life. I gave them identification, filled out forms to get a member number and yet in their system, they noted me as "a woman claiming to be a family member" (I learned this on a visit to the branch when one of the branch employees also got frustrated with their own security department). I am only keeping his accounts open as a promise to him, but I'm going to have to give up and since he's continually declining, he's not going to know I had to break my promise. I have a feeling I might have to get legal intervention to get the accounts closed. Stay tuned. The people I've encountered at this branch, to be clear, have been very helpful, but they keep bumping up against their own security department. At one point I had to go into my savings to pay his mortgage! Overall, this is a horrible, horrible bank - especially for aging veterans - and when I have more time, I'll do much more than write a review on Yelp because when you are watching a parent die slowly before you're very eyes, and you now have to juggle all of their affairs and your own, the last thing you need is a bank making life even more difficult for you.

Every time I go to a branch they are always understaffed and the lines are long yet they have someone sometimes two people standing at the door greeting people asking how they can help. Of course they can never help. They should use those employees to work the teller line and customer service. If you can, go to Wells Fargo. I had paid off a lot of previous debt so I demonstrated the ability to pay previous obligations. I literally should have been their ideal client. But they denied my $1 million+ revenue business any line of credit (LOC), even a modest $50K. I went to another bank and got a $100K line of credit that was limited only because they were freaked out by Chain Bridge Bank's refusal to lend. A year later, I got a $250K line of credit with my new bank. Chain Bridge Bank appears to cater only to political campaigns. I fail to understand this since that's a very very risk undertaking. But they don't seem to care about almost sure-thing local businesses that are growing rapidly. And now we are 3 times the size only a few years later due to no help from them since they refused to extend a LOC.
