This bank is located is the very gay-friendly area of DC; it's in a very nice neighborhood near plenty of shopping and dining! My experience during this visit was positive. This location is open until 3pm on a Saturday, later than all the other nearby TD Bank locations. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and was assisted by the head teller, Meren, who took care of several account services needs. It took about an hour in the bank, with various disruptions, computer issues, and technical errors, but I had an hour to kill, and the bank had convenient hours. TDBank NA a fair Custodian ? Today December 18th 2019 this the now largest Bank in the US faces a Class Action Lawsuit surrounding Overdraft fees. Meaning a deficit of a $1.00 would cost a consumer $30.00. Good Luck legal process. This also means it is just and individual is upset. Still hidden its past are the Bank's disapproval of Bitcorn. Bringing me to my concerns as a depositor into the 15th and P st NW branch Washington, DC under the corporate offices of the TDBank NA average 3000 to 3500 a month direct deposit. I was introduced to a phone app called cash app. That for all intensive purposes allowed withdraw from my bank account to the app to pay vendors or individuals of products or services including going Dutch on lunch. But also, investment in stock and bitcorin. To be honest the 80.00 dollars invested evenly in stock and bitcoin have not yielded in the few weeks the total of each investment . Minus 1.50 to 2.00. And with another circumstance of deposits into my account of what is defined as moble deposits that on view at the branch appears as checks written to me. Which I did not cash. But was said justification for restricting accounts for debt, online access due to suspicions. And because of prior incidence including debt compromise that the branch manager felt Security division would not allow me continued account privilege on Dec 13th 2019 at 5:00 pm. Well not being a spring Rooster now 70 years of age. I was born at night but not last night. Thus, aware that banking system built of in part on written check system. And Liability for fraudulent fact rest upon the author1/ and not the receiver.. As it is an honor system of exchange for products and services render or to be render but also as prizes or gifts designed for payment. In this regard checks deposited were not posted until cleared. And thus, did not affect other aspects of account. So, my caution to other consumers surrounding TDBank. If you have other choices you'd be better off. Check fraud is a Felon in Federal and State Laws. read more

Normally I have nothing bad to say about TD bank. i have always had great customer service at branches all over the area. However the brank manager at this location is a huge jerk. As he was embarrassing me for no reason i caught the eyes of the teller and could see even she was embarrassed. OK. Here I am writing another review about a bank. It seems random, but the folks at this branch of TD are so customer service oriented, I felt the need to acknowledge that fact to my fellow yelpers! This branch is located in the Metropole. The hours are the best! They got extended hours on Saturdays and are even open on Sundays. The free coin counting machine even gives you an option to guess how much you are dumping in. If you guess within $1.99 you win a prize. I opened a new free checking account at TD and see myself switching all of my banking over to them in the very near future. read more

I want to give two stars, but the truth is that TD Bank is just a very good bank and the people at this branch are very kind. The branch on Connecticut Ave is much more well run though. The problem with the Logan Branch is that when you go in and have a line of three people waiting to make a deposit, there may be one teller and 4 other employees sitting at desks not working. At some branches, they don't hesitate. They get up from the desk and go to the teller station and help out. I am sure that once you've gotten out of the teller station and assigned a desk, you don't want to go back to the teller station. If you want to represent the company well and do right by the client, you really have to make sure people aren't waiting (if you are not busy doing something else). read more

I went in here just to use the penny arcade. There were four staff members there and I was the only customer. So they all helped me. One scraped all the change in the machine and sent me to another who counted it up while another chatted with me and gave me a TD Bank change box and on my way out the last one held the door. All of them were super nice, and no one ever once tried to sell me on an account or anything. Awesome! read more

Worst bank ever. Opened a business account in May. They failed to deliver checks in three months. Placed a fraud lock on my account (because they failed) and now i can't access my money. I'd never write a review on a bank but they failed so completely i felt i had to. I have moved my accounts to either Bank of America or Eagle Bank. Avoid TD Bank. They waste your time. Never thought I'd review a bank, but I stopped in here after work to make a deposit and I was just very impressed by how friendly the people working there were. They immediately greeted me as soon as I entered, and made entertaining conversation as they were processing my deposit. It was 6:30pm after a long day, when most people would be tired, grouchy, and just wanting to go home - but half an hour before closing they were polite as ever. If you have an account at TD Bank, I'd say this is a great branch to visit. read more

I'd heard some good things about TD Bank, but my own experience never got off the ground. We just moved to DC and I tried to apply for a new checking account online. After I filled in the online form, the app told me it couldn't find me in the public record. Would I like to start over and answer all the same questions again? For some reason, I fell for it and went through the whole process a second time. Still no luck. Then I called their 800 number and we went over all the same questions and answers verbally. Again, no luck. Bottom line: TD Bank doesn't seem to think I exist, and they won't or can't tell me which piece of information is causing the problem. Fortunately there are plenty of other banks around whose online application apps work correctly. UPDATE. We dropped by the branch office and they sorted out the problem. We now have a TD checking account. So, we'll bump this up to three stars, and see how things work out from here. read more

The earlier reviews reflect how the bank was. The penny arcade is gone. The bank opens later and closes earlier. It takes half an hour on hold to reach someone on the business side of things. And trying to get something answered via email yields an incorrect answer every 24 hours. They change the rules on how interest bearing accounts work, now you need 10 transactions a month to get a better rate, but I just don't do transactions on accounts where I park my money. Very frustrating when this used to be a great bank. read more

Everyone here is always so kind! I often go out of my way to visit this branch to do my business. I know that when I go they recognize me and are sincere when addressing my concerns. This bank provides the best customer service I have ever experienced in a retail setting! I too received an umbrella, among other TD branded gifts.
