Sure... the envelope is a waste of paper but, if I'm idling at the ATM for 5 or more minutes... Gas is $$$ now a days, I'll waste some paper and save some time. I was willing to put 20% down on a house costing less than a hundred grand. They took two months and finally denied the loan even though I submitted every document they asked for. They demanded two appraisals on the house which cost about $500 each. Both appraisals were over the purchase price offer. They kept asking for the same documents over and over again. They refused to meet in person. Everything online. In the end they claimed I had not worked long enough at my current job to get a mortgage. But they knew from day one how long I had been on my current job. So I lost $1000 by applying at this bank and got nothing but a two month headache.

I told them no and I could go to Merrillville in the morning. They told me Merrillville did not have a manager Either, but Crownpoint had a manager. I told them that crown point was out of my way and asked if they could make a courtesy call since it was not my fault that there were no managers available they told me no. that next morning I got a call from the Highland manager asking me to come to Gary? She acted like she had no idea what was going on with the check. I told her to call the mortgage side and then call me back. She never called me back. I went to the crown point location because I was told that there was going to be a manager there. I got all the way to the Crownpoint location and was told the manager was going to Merrillville at this point I'm angry because I drove all the way to Crownpoint when I live in Merrillville. I then called the Merrillville location and let them know that I was on my way because I was told the crown point manager was there. They told me they did not have a manager there. I got into a whole argument with the young lady on the phone about the crown point location telling me their manager was at that location. We went back back-and-forth for about 10 minutes until she put me on speakerphone,I guess so everybody else did hear how upset I was . I hung up the phone and about an hour later the Merrillville location called me back and told me theCrownpoint manager had just walked in and that I can come to get the check signed. This happened Friday, September 4. I was on my way out of town with my family and had no time to waste with these games. I really hope that someone can get this solved because it's really an inconvenience for the customers to travel out their way just for a single signature.

She showed my mom such patience, kindness and dignity when my 81 yr old Mom got locked out of her online baking. (twic) She came and used her break time to sit down with my mom in the branch and help me and my mom walk through her online banking. i'm not my mother's POA although that's in the works, she allowed me to help my mom with her personal information in the bank. We lack such kindness and customer service these days. I decided after long convincing from my mom. Because my mom has been a customer since your bank opened , and was a customer of the bank that you took over in Hammond. But she is the reason that I decided to open a bank account with your bank last week. This person needs to be recognized and I wish I knew her last name, but I believe her first name was Sonia. I will try to be reaching out to a branch manager, so that manager understands and recognizes what a beyond the scope of her job employees she as far as customer service. Thank you thank you thank you to her. I hope you treat your employees up to their value because a lot of companies do not!
