There is a teller I believe her name is Sonja that works at the branch next to Van Til on 169th St. in Hammond. She showed my mom such patience, kindness and dignity when my 81 yr old Mom got locked out of her online baking.

She came and used her break time to sit down with my mom in the branch and help me and my mom walk through her online banking.
i'm not my mother's POA although that's in the works, she allowed me to help my mom with her personal information in the bank.
We lack such kindness and customer service these days. I decided after long convincing from my mom. Because my mom has been a customer since your bank opened , and was a customer of the bank that you took over in Hammond. But she is the reason that I decided to open a bank account with your bank last week.
This person needs to be recognized and I wish I knew her last name, but I believe her first name was Sonia. I will try to be reaching out to a branch manager, so that manager understands and recognizes what a beyond the scope of her job employees she as far as customer service. Thank you thank you thank you to her.
I hope you treat your employees up to their value because a lot of companies do not! Sometimes you're barely lucky to get a smile out of a teller let alone have them step out and use their break time to help a customer.
So I give her five gold stars . read more
