I have been a Chase customer for many years, and I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Chase branch at 4204 Calumet Ave. in Hammond, Indiana.
I went into this branch to request a box of pennies and was refused, even though I had previously been told that this is a main branch and that they could provide boxes of coins. What is especially frustrating is that the rules seem to keep changing depending on who you speak with. Long-time customers deserve clear and consistent information about the services their bank provides.
What bothered me most was the way I was treated by one of the bankers. I felt that I was talked down to and treated with a lack of respect simply for asking questions about a service. Whether the bank could fulfill my request or not, there was no reason for me to leave feeling disrespected.
After being a loyal customer for many years, I expected much better customer service from Chase. I would like management and Chase Corporate to address the way customers are being treated at this location and provide clear, consistent policies instead of customers receiving different answers.
Respect and professionalism should be standard when dealing with customers--especially customers who have trusted your bank for years. read more
