Went there today with my sister so I could add her to sign in on my Safety Deposit Box. We were greeted at the door by a women whose job is to only smile and ask customers what they want. As I found out the other part of her job was to tell customers they cannot get what they want and must get an appointment to get a clerk to add my sisters name to my safety box. A clerk came out and took information from me to set up an appointment on a different day. The time to do all of this would have been the same as needed to add signing authority for my sister. This is a good example of piss poor customer service with a smile. Needless to say, this bank is really screwed up!

When the manager checked it, the machine accepted it twice, proving it was real. Despite that, [Fatima] kept insisting it was fake with no valid reason. Making such serious accusations without evidence and treating customers this way is unacceptable. This experience was frustrating and embarrassing. I do not recommend this bank at all.

It is now called BMO Harris since they have merged. We currently do our business out at the Orland Park BMO Harris, but since we needed something they could not provide we visited the Palos branch. We came in and sat with one of the bankers and she was very helpful. We were trying to change one BMO Harris credit card (a wealth management card with a hefty annual fee) for another (one with a lower annual fee) ... a simple product change. Since the wealth advisor at the Palos branch was not in (that's why only 4 stars) we were helped by a banker who took us through the process of a product change. Anyway, long story short - we have usually been very happy with the service at BMO Harris branches. This branch did just fine in helping us with our change. We like BMO Harris very much.
