I came across information about FREE dental services (including extractions) being offered to veterans on Thursday, 11-09-23. I told my dad about the promo. He contacted them and he was able to receive treatment. Though he served close to 30 years in the military, he had not seen a dentist in many years as coverage, even with TriCare insurance, for veterans is not what it needs to be. He told me that they took good care of him and as soon as he has adequate dental coverage, he would be returning. "Thank you for your sacrifice and service" is what I tend to say to veterans year round, but as I am sealing your thank you card, I say it to you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My face was incredibly swollen for a week straight and I couldn't even go outside because of how bad it looked. I'm always skeptical of reviews for professional services (or, most business for that matter) so,…read moreI'll start by saying I'm not a paid shill and nobody asked me to write this review. I'm just a regular guy who needed an impacted wisdom tooth removed. In conducting my own research, it was time consuming to ferret out legit reviews from ones that seemed fake. Ultimately, I'm very happy I decided upon Dr. Moore. I expected the procedure to be painful, annoying and complicated. No part of the process was any of those things. I first tried getting an appointment at an oral surgeon my dentist recommended and the earliest available date they had was one month out. Since there are not a ton of options near me, I decided to look at surgeons in Charlotte, when I ended up on Dr. Moore. I was given an appointment 4 days out. Despite having to drive two hours each way to each appointment (3 appointments in 2 weeks), I could not have been happier with the service and outcome. The front desk staff were a pleasure to deal with. Billing was a breeze. The surgical assistants were attentive and caring. Dr. Moore was honest, kind and considerate during the consultation. When it came time for the procedure (just 4 days later), he was communicative the whole time and I literally did not feel a thing (despite assuming I would be in pain). I should note I did not opt for anesthesia, I only had a local numbing agent. It's possible I just got lucky, however, I had a lower impacted wisdom tooth removed and it's my understanding it's usual to feel pain with those. Even in recovery, I did not feel much pain and maybe took a Motrin or two in the days that followed. I had my followup today and again the staff were extremely pleasant, as was Dr. Moore. If you're in the unfortunate position of requiring oral surgery, I'd highly recommend checking out Dr. Moore's practice. And again, I don't often write reviews but I was so surprisingly pleased with the process I felt compelled to do so.

I am very thankful to have Barone and Ford to help me with my family's dental needs. I originally…read morewent to a different dental firm, which said that I had a "cavity" that needed to be filled.  I was a bit surprised since I had lived well into my late 30's or early 40's without a cavity.  However, I thought, "Well, I guess it could happen."  So I got the other dental firm to take care of the "cavity".  At a later visit to the other dental firm, they said I had another "cavity".  At that point, red flags went off.  I take care of my teeth, so two "cavities" in such a short time frame was really surprising to me.  My husband had been going to Barone & Ford for quite some time, and he recommended that I go to Barone & Ford. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from Barone and Ford. As it turned out, I didn't have a cavity that required filling.  Needless to say, it made me wonder if the first "cavity" needed to be filled. Regardless, I switched to Barone & Ford and never looked back.  Over a decade has passed, and that "cavity" still has not needed to be filled... They are honest people who do great work. Everyone in my family loves them! P.S. - They do check and charge insurance in a timely manner. I am a bit surprised about the other review, as we have never had a problem with Barone & Ford billing our insurance. They send a bill/notification both pre and post insurance payment, and we have never owed a large amount owed for a regular cleaning after it was processed by insurance. We have been going to them for over a decade without an issue.
