This is a review from when I visited Oslo in 2008. Prices and information may not be current.
This hotel had a great location just minutes away from popular Karl Johans Gate in downtown Oslo. The room provided was slightly small for two people, but it worked perfectly. The rate for the room included wifi and continental breakfast. I did have some weird issues with wifi, but the front desk was always quick to help.
The continental breakfast that you get when staying at this hotel makes it worth the price. I have yet to see a hotel's breakfast even match half of the items that were laid out for us. There were scrambled, hard boiled, soft boiled eggs. They had bacon, sausage, and ham, tomatoes, cucumbers, several kinds of toast, breads, crackers, and croissants. Considering how expensive food in Oslo was, I was amazed at how much food the hotel provided. There were times I would wake up when they first opened, and then I'd go back near the end of it for a late morning snack. I could easily load up on calories before walking around Oslo for 10 miles in a day. read more
