Other vendors either did not call back or provided a potential cost based on the number of windows without visiting & I suspected that cost would only escalate due to varying window sizes. Frank showed up early for the appt, was very personable, had all the right equipment to include ladders, and got right to work. He treated the windows as if doing his own home; looking at the individual glass from various angles, both inside and outside of the house, making sure he saw no streaks or missed areas. We were also pleased that he meticulously wiped out all the dirt & pollen accrued on the sills over the last year. We will definitely schedule him annually for this service as well as keep him at the top of our list for ANY of the handyman services he offers in addition to the windows.

They said they could do that and would come by to look over the fireplace and talk about options. The guy arrived about on time, but looked like he slept in the truck. His clothes were a shambles and were covered with dog hair. That on its own was not the main issue. He came in took measurements of the fireplace, looked up the chimney, went outside to look down the chimney with two different drones. Neither one worked. So, then he told us we needed to have the flue treated with a sealant. Did we want him to do that now? And it would cost aboutt 300 bucks. We said forget it. Then. We asjpked about which fireplace insets would work, and he said he would have to talk to his boss And he would call us back. He then presented us with a bill for $195 for the "inspection". He was there a total of 20 minutes, never did see down the flue and had no knowledge about fireplace inserts... Never got a call back. Do NOT hire this company! UPDATE Our previous review was Replied to by the company and listed as fake. Not true. For some reason the review was listed in VA. the real place was Bath NC. and the date was March 7th. And you are correct about the amount. it was higher - the amount charged to our credit card was $256.47. You should have our phone number in your records. They started with the outside, it was fine and quick, but they skipped some places and told us to…read morehave someone fix these parts of the house up and they would finish painting them later. We did, and even though they did come back to do the interior, they didn't fix them, so we now have spots around the exterior that are the old color. They are on the second floor and we can't reach them. For the interior, they "scheduled" a date that we needed to have everything off the walls and in the center of the room. They didn't show up until a month after this original date, so for a month the house was in complete disarray. Once they got in and started painting, it was horrible. They wouldn't paint any of the ceilings and when they 'needed' to paint a ceiling, they painted it the wall color instead of white... very strange. We really needed the double-height part of the living room to be painted white since it was a very yellow tint, but they refused. After looking around the house at their work when they left you can clearly see where they only did one coat of paint when two were very needed. You can see where they did the trim/outline layer and then a quick sweep of paint on the general area. These are in high spots that I can't reach to fix. We now have to pay other painters to come in and fix their mess.

I researched and…read moregathered recommendations for good roofing companies to research for several years before contracting Coastal Roofing and Siding because I wanted the best shingle system in the industry with the best warranty. On my 6K+ sq ft home, I had them replace the entire roof, fix an on-going issue with a chimney, replace four areas of siding on the second floor (and correct flashing issues found), replace all gutters and down spouts with larger, and install stainless gutter guards. As far as price, I paid about what the other companies quoted me for just the roof replacement to install an inferior roof system, WITHOUT ALL THE OTHER WORK! They performed OUTSTANDING WORK from start to finish.
