The sent me an invoice dated May 13, 2026, and charged me for a balance on the CT which I did agree that I owed. They also charged me for a balance owed on the mammogram which should be covered in full. When I called to resolve the issue, I was told that someone would get back to me, three week and another call later no one ever did. So, I paid the balance on the CT and wrote a letter and sent it cetrified. Stating I would not pay the balance of the mammogram because I did not owe it and I can't appeal to the insurance because they took 8 1/2 months to bill me and I no longer have that insurance. They now have sent me to collections. If they can't do their billing correctly and timely are the test results accurate??????????????

I was scheduled for surgery in February and I was unavailable, my assistant contacted the office to…read morereschedule. I rescheduled in June, had another consult June 12 with the office where they walked me through what pre-operative tests has expired and what I would need to do to get ready for surgery on the newly scheduled date 7/24. I met with my cosmetic surgeon, she surveyed my body again to make sure nothing had changed and they put me on the calendar. July 2 I spoke to the surgical coordinator, Melissa, by phone. This woman is pretty methodical and she runs a tight ship, I hadn't heard from her about the pre-op stuff so I texted her and she requested a call. My surgeon had quit on June 12, the day of my pre-operative appointment and they just never reached out to tell me. They brought in a new surgeon, she offered to honor the price I had already paid to have surgery with the new surgeon even if it would have been more expensive otherwise because of all the trouble. Because this is such a huge decision, I told them I would meet with their surgeon but I wasn't going to commit to anything and I wanted my money back to explore other options. I was paid in full in December 2024 to the tune of 22k. The owner of the practice emails me, says she'll be back on July 15th from travel and she'll process my refund then. Then, in another email, she produces the attached document notifying me that if I don't keep my money with the practice and commit to surgery with them, they're going to keep 50% because I needed to reschedule in February on short notice. This quote their relying on to take half my money clearly states it's not a contract and I don't think I have ever seen the second page of that quote with the penalties. I didn't cancel anything until my surgeon quit. I certainly didn't cancel in February. They cancelled on me on July 2 and now they're trying to either take my money or stuff this other surgeon down my throat, neither of which are acceptable resolutions to me.
