My husband was sent to Martin North from Martin South after being sent to Encompass rehab (he was…read morein poor condition, and I knew he should not have been sent to rehab) hospice said "he was not ready". I went home for the evening and Encompass called me to inform me they sent him back to Martin South after seeing my husband was not at all ready for rehab. Martin south called me to inform me he was in critical condition they were going to send him to Martin North critical care. After several hours he was sent. The next morning, I went to North he was in very good hands and was being well taken care of. Several days passed he was in and out of having a good day, they moved him out of critical care to shared room. They had him on heavy meds, oxygen etc., and he was not doing well. Hospice was refused again after we talked to them several times. I notice he was getting worse and difficulty taking all the needles, the meds, he told me in a lot of pain to stop all the poking and pain. The doctor said he was not responding to the care. I told my husband goodnight that day he said "goodbye" instead of goodnight. He went to sleep. Next morning he would not wake up, I knew he was in a coma, the doctor moved him back to private room and suggested hospice. I told him they had refused to take him, the doctor said they will now, he called them. At this point my family and I had said our goodbyes, I had 37 wonderful years of memories with the love of my life! Yes hospice came in, maybe now he is ready for them. (I have no respect for hospice). My husband passed that night. Martin North nurses and Doctors did everything they could do and made our family as comfortable as one could expect under the circumstances.

They make it very difficult to schedule an appointment and they claim that they do not except general Medicare and require ti pay out of pocket- which is a false statement! You'll never go there again and will advise all doctors. I know do not refer patients there unless they improve their policy and humanity in serving patients.

I was referred to a Dr at this facility for a high PSA. I was billed a 247.00 new patient fee and they billed my insurance 1200.00 for that office visit. When I called Cleveland clinic about the charge they tell me the charge was for the room doctors time and supplies. Mine you I was in the room for 10 minutes they billed for 45 minutes and used no supplies. On the paperwork for the insurance company they claimed I was checked out and all my vitals were normal, never checked. Beware don't visit them!!!!

My ultrasound technician (Leslie) after initial scan realized there was more to it than the diagnose initially mentioned for this scan. She changed the procedure, to a full scan of my neck down to my forearm which revealed; phlebitis/DVT. Her professionalism and extreme knowledge help diagnose the real issue and now I will be able to get the correct treatment needed to resolve my issue. I rarely take the time to go on Yelp to complain about a place, but this one takes the cake. I came…read morein with a problem & got sent to get blood work done. They had me come back to tell me my test results all of which took a minute (which were negative) & charged me another $65. (I don't have insurance & they already got $365 out of me the first visit) Why? They didn't do anything to me the second time I came in for my test results and they could've easily called me and told me that over the phone. When I called and complained they said it's considered an "office visit." I could understand if my results were positive and they were going to do something to me or even if they had to check me again on my second visit I would understand why I have to pay, but for them to say your results came back good and charge me for that is just not right. My primary care doctor usually just posts my test results on an online portal & has people come in if there's a problem. Don't waste your time here. The ultrasound tech was literally watching the inauguration on her laptop during my exam. Update: Just received another bill from them almost 5 months later for "outside lab testing services".. none of which they mentioned to me. I'm guessing they had to send away to an outside lab for my Pap smear which is totally fine.. I just wished they would've told me. Yet another bill from this place.. I'm soo over them!

As for Dr. Kumar, She seems to listen and acknowledge interest in previous history with other doctors.I like having a doctor that takes time with patients rather than rushing you in and out, especially when it is dealing with personal issues. I will be going over some of the information with them to correct the nurse's incompetence.
