The Paris Trip of Our Dreams--Thanks to Riya at Next Horizon!…read more I cannot say enough good things about Riya and Next Horizon! My two girlfriends and I found last-minute tickets to the Eras Tour in Paris (!!!), but between full-time jobs and family responsibilities, we had zero time to plan the rest of the trip. Enter Riya--our travel fairy godmother. From the moment we landed, everything was seamless. A private driver greeted us at the airport with a personalized sign--a small but thoughtful touch that made us feel like VIPs. Riya had every detail covered, from mapping out the best Eiffel Tower photo spots to sending us to the most incredible pastry shops (Mamiche and Du Pain des Idées--chef's kiss). The night of the Taylor Swift concert was pure magic, and thanks to Riya, we had everything we needed to enjoy it stress-free. She even planned the perfect send-off: dinner at Chez Paul followed by a sunset Seine River cruise, complete with champagne and macarons. It was the dreamiest way to end our trip. Every detail was thoughtful, personal, and perfectly timed. Riya didn't just plan a trip--she created one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. If you're looking for someone who can turn chaos into curated magic, Next Horizon is it. Merci, Riya!

Answered all questions when I called (and called back and back and back again!). They even called a couple of days before to confirm the reservation. Not only did they provide an affordable room, they treated one adult per room and children under 12 to the buffet breakfast and also gave us, free of charge, one meal (which we had as lunch) and snacks and drinks. To top it off, they allowed us to borrow a microwave and use their freezer! It truly was a saving grace and we wish they were in all states we visit for medical appointments as they made us feel cared for, like we had friends we could ask for help. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough.

I have used Shriji in the past but a recent experience with a complicated booking reinforced my…read morefaith in their professionalism and integrity. I had booked an earlier ticket with a different travel agent and had to cancel at the last minute due to a family situation. The other agent made things difficult by not helping in anyway and in turn losing me money in the process. Finally after many calls to the airline directly, I was issued a credit for the cancelled ticket. Recently when I planned to use the credit I realized it would be complicated and result in further loss of money due to archaic rules imposed by the airlines! I finally called Jignesh at Shriji having worked with him before and knowing he was an efficient and straightforward person. As expected Jignesh promptly booked me a ticket meeting my needs (multiple destinations). He went above and beyond and dealt with the airline directly and negotiated with them to waive a couple hundred dollars in fees and allow them to keep the booking which included partner airlines (this was not allowed as per the rules of my credit voucher). My out of pocket expense was minimal and the credit issued on the earlier ticket was applied entirely! These days when you can good find deals online, one wonders why a travel agent is needed. In my opinion, Jignesh proved why a good agent is invaluable and can do wonders for you and save you money... not to mention peace of mind!! Suffice to say my family's future travel plans will always include Shriji. Thank you for the great service!!

This is the way a train station should look…read more If you ever take the train from St. Louis, do it at this station. It is cute, it is well maintained, and gasp, it's a REAL train station. Our downtown station is a mess. It is really nothing more than a gravel lot and a glorified trailer. The first time I took a train from this location, I was horrified by the surroundings. The Kirkwood station is completely different. The station is old and quaint, and will put you on the EXACT same trains that roll through downtown. There is ample parking (even if you have to fight some of the Kirkwood bustle), and all the people that work here are super friendly and helpful. It is also far easier to get in and out of for people dropping off and picking up, will cost exactly the same, and you get to look at cute little Kirkwood while you are waiting for the Amtrak as opposed to a bunch of abandoned buildings. Easily the best Amtrak choice in the area. I highly suggest checking it out next time you take a train.
