This Dr. Rokito is a terrible human being who is indifferent to people's health; perhaps he is simply an incompetent specialist, but I suspect he is merely uninterested in patients with low-cost insurance plans--moreover, I distinctly felt that I was being treated with disdain. I spent two months waiting to see this Rokito, only for the doctor himself to grant me a paltry 10 minutes--and not even provide a diagnosis, essentially stating just one thing: "I cannot, and will not, help you." Recently, I had a lot of pain behind my knee. I hadn't fallen nor did I bump my knee. After three days, I could not walk without a crutch. I was in pain so bad, I was crying. Dr. Rokito said I had water on my knee, a by-product of the arthritis I had in my knees, which I never felt and never knew about. He did an aspiration of almost a tube full of water, gave me a cortisone shot, and I was able to walk without help that evening. I had stated I had looked into taking legal action against a former one years ago unrelated to my current injury due to the treatment received causing my injury to worsen requiring surgery. He responded to my initial email asking for a call and refused to respond to my initial follow up email asking to explain what was making Mackenzie uncomfortable treating me. Plus towards the last year of my care with him I desperately needed a nerve surgery and this doctor, a surgeon, was on the phone calling for almost 75 minutes to get my surgery approved so I could save most the motor control and sensation in my left hand!
