This past July, I hurt myself during yoga (a result and mix of over-exercising/working out/pandemic stress) and I was referred to this practice. Before then, I had never injured myself physically and was experiencing - what I soon came to recognize - a high level of anxiety previously unknown to me. As someone who always felt extremely strong, both physically and mentally, I felt like a stranger in my own body. Dr. Niv (Zack) was my primary therapist and (while I wish I had never injured myself or had to learn what anxiety was) I consider it a major blessing that of all the PT's in the world, I somehow happened to find him. He is an expert, serious professional, and all around fantastic human being. I have never felt more safe, taken care, understood, or truly heard by a health care professional ever in my life. The care I received was always personalized and thoughtful. I always felt like he wanted to hear what was on my mind/concerns/etc. His understanding of the body and mind is incredible. My treatment always felt like an extremely educated and human approach. Something I (and everyone else) desperately needed. I could go on! While I am essentially recovered, I wish I could visit this practice every week. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Also noteworthy: The front desk staff are amazing - incredibly easy to make or change an appointment, assist with insurance/billing related questions or problems. The facility is clean & welcoming. I would love to share my experience further with anyone considering a visit.

My first injury, Dr. Stark correctly diagnosed the issue, a torn meniscus, when the ER doctor was convinced it was a torn/sprained MCL. Did rehab with PT and got back to normal. He did suggest doing an injection into the joint, but I opted not to. Frozen shoulder was an issue, but I was able to get back to normal after doing trigger point Neil-Asher technique. Tom is an amazing PT! He's like House M.D. for physical therapy. After ignoring a weird feeling in my calf and knee, I pulled my hamstring during an 8 mile run for half marathon training with only 5 weeks left before the half. I took a week off and went to Dr. Stark and started PT with Tom. He helped me with taping and exercises/scraping to get the muscle to release. Then he diagnosed a nerve issue with my sciatica which was the actual root cause of the issues that I've had with hamstring. I was able to build my miles back to 9 miles. I finished my half marathon (not a super fast time) and my leg has never felt better - no weird sensations, regained by leg strength doing the exercises. I'm training for my next half marathon and no longer need the tape for my hamstring.

I've been dealing with ankle pain for the past 5 months, going back and forth to this office with no real help. When the doctor finally said I needed an injection, he gave me two options - pay $300 out of pocket or wait up to 4 weeks for insurance approval. I chose to wait for my insurance. The doctor said he'd submit the request that same day. A week later, I called my insurance to check the status -- but there was no request on file. I called the office, and no one knew anything about the injection or the insurance request. After multiple calls, they finally said they would submit it -- but they didn't. Three weeks later, the request was finally sent, but they submitted it incorrectly, causing even more delays. When I called again, they had no idea what I was talking about -- nothing was in my file. I've been calling nonstop, but all I get is the same girl, Nina, saying she'll ask the doctor and call me back -- but no one ever does. It's clear they're dragging their feet, hoping I'll give up and pay out of pocket because insurance won't pay them as much. I've been suffering for 5 months, and the past 3 weeks have been unbearable. Do yourself a favor -- **go somewhere else**. No one deserves this kind of treatment, physically or mentally

By way of comparison: both an Italian and a Russian doctor were able to diagnose me in just 10 minutes during an online consultation--immediately after reviewing my test results. The diagnosis: axillary nerve compression. This Dr. Rokito is a terrible human being who is indifferent to people's health; perhaps he is simply an incompetent specialist, but I suspect he is merely uninterested in patients with low-cost insurance plans--moreover, I distinctly felt that I was being treated with disdain. I spent two months waiting to see this Rokito, only for the doctor himself to grant me a paltry 10 minutes--and not even provide a diagnosis, essentially stating just one thing: "I cannot, and will not, help you." Doctors like this should burn in hell--or find a profession other than medicine.

Recently, I had a lot of pain behind my knee. I hadn't fallen nor did I bump my knee. After three days, I could not walk without a crutch. I was in pain so bad, I was crying. Dr. Rokito said I had water on my knee, a by-product of the arthritis I had in my knees, which I never felt and never knew about. He did an aspiration of almost a tube full of water, gave me a cortisone shot, and I was able to walk without help that evening. I was having a fairly positive experience until the physical therapist I was seeing left for…read moreanother practice and Mackenzie took over for her. Mackenzie has to be the most unprofessional medical professional I have had the experience dealing with. She completely disregarded my doctor's instructions and had a terrible attitude. The owner couldn't care less as he has one foot out the door. They also don't sanitize ANYTHING! None of the tables, mats, or equipment is cleaned after use. I have never been to a physical therapy provider to care less about cleanliness. They also have the most uncomfortable tables for being stretched out on. Review updated below to respond to the numerous lies and misrepresentations made in the owners responses. It is clear the owner wants to take zero accountability for the unacceptable attitude Mackenzie has (which someone else called out in another recent review) because he can't afford to lose another physical therapist. -I genuinely cannot think of one thing I did or said that would have made Mackenzie or the other PT uncomfortable. The owner has made these claims, but has refused to discuss with me directly what exactly made them so uncomfortable. If I was making the female PTs as uncomfortable as he claims why was I not switched to his care or the other male PT at the practice? Also, why would he allow me to be in a separate room with them alone and not at one of the tables in the common area that would allow him or other staff members to directly supervise if this was the case? If anyone was uncomfortable, I was by Mackenzie's attitude. In terms of the unsavory language in the email, as they say if the shoe fits :) -My doctor prescribed me PT sessions after discussing the best treatment plan options I had available with it being his recommendation we continue one last batch of sessions that Mackenzie decided to cut short. He disagrees with their decision to cut my treatment short so what is there to discuss about it now? -Not sure how showing up looking to get help with the pain and discomfort caused by a medical condition would qualify as using his clinic as a personal training facility? -I never said it was a terrible place, as I stated I was having a fairly positive experience until Mackenzie took over. -I had emailed the owner about the lack of cleanliness and as a result they would wipe the stretching table for me (as they should for every patient). I guess that was "obnoxious" and "rude" for me to ask to not lie in the filth of someone else. -Mackenzie was the complete opposite of professional when it came to her telling me in her opinion my issue did not require any more physical therapy. She was aggressive and harsh in tone and language. -Suggesting a personal trainer would better meet my needs was scoffed at by my doctor and was never considered by him at any point in my recovery even prior to starting at Integrative. -I never stated I was considering legal action against my prior clinics. I had stated I had looked into taking legal action against a former one years ago unrelated to my current injury due to the treatment received causing my injury to worsen requiring surgery. I left my prior provider because the price nearly tripled at the start of the new year. This was all communicated to Frank. -It is a lie we had a back and forth after my last session. He responded to my initial email asking for a call and refused to respond to my initial follow up email asking to explain what was making Mackenzie uncomfortable treating me. There was no offer made over email to have a face to face conversation nor a call with him to discuss the matter, nor did I refuse a call between him and my doctor. -Not sure what is harassing about sending one follow up email on what exactly is making the physical therapist uncomfortable to treat me when that is such a bold statement. -Having one foot out the door came straight from one of his physical therapists who stated he is looking to get out of the business now that his family lives in South Carolina. Someone who commutes that far to work part time doesn't sound like someone who is there to stay long term. -Not sure why it would matter if Oliver was my real name or not. It has no impact on the situation. Just the owner grasping for straws to try and reclaim any credibility.
