We chatted and the sitter got to know our pets, our routine, where everything is, etc. Very organized. The intake form is pretty long, but seriously it's very helpful to give as much info. Plus they can administer meds if needed. This is a great option for those whose pets either can't or don't do well at a kennel/day care. But between Deb and Laurene, my cat always has food, water, medicine, attention, and affection, and I receive an email and often a picture so that I can know that all is well (and ease my conscience). I am very grateful for the important service they provide. Kim, the owner, answered my first call personally and told me about her company and how she does background checks on all of her employees and she gave me a good sense of how they work. She made an appointment to meet at my house a few weeks before our vacation, we went over the pets, food, feeding times, trash day....all that stuff. Very professional. When I got home, other than a pile of mail on my kitchen table, it was like I never left. My cats were happy, fed, their litter box was clean and I was happy.
