And the hairdressers could 'dress hair' so knowing we needed a proper stylist, we chose the 'mall' First we stopped at the other salon who quoted us 45$ (the cut this summer was 20$ in a mall in brockville) so we decided to check this one first for a quote, and was happily quoted 25$ for the cut. The gent at the front was friendly and kind, inquiring to my sons name, as I explained we were getting a hefty haircut but wanted it like a photo, no problem he assured me, and went and spoke to one of the stylists who came and looked at my boy and the photo and agreed it would be possible. They did everything to make my boy comfortable, I assured them this is what he wanted, as he looked a little frightened (his hair has been long for as long as he has been alive) The entire staff was friendly towards my boy (and me) with a couple of them even stopping by while he was in the chair getting his hair cut to offer comments of support and compliments The stylist (Nina I think was her name) took her time to make sure the cut was done right and styled for my sons happiness. He loved the cut, and walked away a happy boy and me a happy father knowing how well we were treated and fairly we were charged for an excellent job. I'll attach a before and after pic for reference

It's been ages since I got my haircut and it's been even longer since I have walked out thinking I've wasted my money on a cut. I called ahead of time and got lucky that they had a time slot open on a busy day. My stylist was a bit rude and a bit too pushy of the Aveda products in store for my taste. I'm already there getting my hair done, please ask me if I want to hear about it. Don't demand I need to purchase this product in order to have great hair. No offence but I can't afford to spend $50+ a month on shampoo or conditioner (hi I'm a student). After being told by my stylist that they didn't want to cut my hair any shorter than I had asked because "it takes time to shorten it up (whatever the hell that means)", I was pretty damn irritated. Next the stylist curls the bottom end of my hair (because it's what their other client likes) and I can safely say I hate it. During the entire hair cutting process, I keep talking to the stylist about my ideas and keep getting shot down. Great. Thanks a lot! So in short, if you like pushy overbearing stylists that will do what they think is best for you - this is your spot!

I specifically told this woman NOT to cut the length on right side just over ear on left(I'm wearing-or was-a short reversed angular bob). This buffoon cut over the ear both sides after being told not to and now I HATE my hair cut and look like a guy. Of course when she asked how I liked it I said 'fine' What am I supposed to say'put the hair back you shouldn't have cut? Once it's cut it's cut. I did leave her a tip. She went today and after Stephanie was done, she said she did a bunch of other things that my wife never asked for nor agreed to and charged her $278. After a lengthy dispute, my wife got fed up and paid it and left. Worst of all, she came home with a dye job that looked exactly the same as this morning before her appointment, with 4" of hair near the roots still black (rest was dyed). Update: My wife went back today and another stylist named Denise was super nice and offered to fix her hair at the roots. She came home looking great and we are both very happy with the results. I got…read moremy hair RUINED by one of the "master" stylist to the point where it was so over processed I went somewhere else and they had to cut off over 6 inches. I could literally see and feel my hair breaking off, don't think I've ever cried that much in my life. My hair was long, healthy and soft and ever since coming here it's been dead. Not only did I have to pay for the balayage (which was expensive on its own) but I've also now had to spend $100's of dollars on Olaplex products to TRY to fix my hair. All I want is to get my hair to how it was before. Every time I look in the mirror all I can think about is how short and damaged my hair is now and regret ever coming to this place. If I can give you one piece of advice it would be DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I've never posted a review but once I figure out how to post photos I'll post the before and after and you'll see the damage they did to my hair, it's bad!! :( Adding the pictures, the left was my hair right after my appointment and the right is a couple weeks after.
