DO NOT GO HERE! Don't waste your money!…read more Well I would like to begin with if I could give no starts that's what I would give. I went there to get a trim and nails done. So I have to admit I was 15 minutes late for my appointment which is understandable but they could've just rebooked me if it was gonna be such a big deal and after I got my nails done I got trim and a little bit of bangs. Well I called back because one of my nails had already broken off and I explained to them that I didn't feel comfortable seeing the same girl but the receptionist jake kept pushing and pushing and making me feel more uncomfortable until the point where I wanted to speak with a manager. The manager I spoke with was very nice and assured me if I came back to get my nail fixed everything would be ok and no judgment. But boy was she wrong. The lady that did my nails was so rude I waved to her and said hi and she just looked at me and walked in the place. And not to mention so rough because I explained to the manager the reason it took 2 1/2 hours to do my nails was because she didn't use the drill and just used a nail file. Well I can see why she didn't use a drill because she chopped my fingers up trying to fix her job she did the first time. And than she started to shame me because when I waved to her I was having a smoke and said well you can't have your nails white because you smoke and they will turn yellow right away. Just an all together horrible experience there. And the guy who cut my hair I felt like he was judging me because I had just had my nails done and my makeup was done and he said "oh where are you going to a big party?" And I asked for a trim to try and get all my ends not looking so fried. And not a straight across cut and as I was explaining to him he just brushed me off like ya ya I know what you are talking about. But clearly he didn't and not to mention my bangs he fucked them up doesn't even look like bangs. I will never be going back here and will advise everybody I know not to go to this place just because of the disrespect that I was given by the employees there and not to mention after I went back and got the nail fixed the exact same one broke in the exact same spot horrible. Oh ya and she didn't take the extra gel that was under my nails as well

After talking about my facial I got to experience a sensory journey with essential oils. This was a really interesting and cool experience. Next I had an idea of what facial I wanted, but after talking more with Anna about my skin, she ended up customizing it to my skin type...it was just fantastic and so relaxing. I clearly don't allow myself these indulgences enough...need to do it more. Would definitely come back to see her again. Since I was in dire need of a trim and liked the salon so much I came back to see Danny for a cut. He was friendly and incredibly polite. In fact I don't think I've ever been to a stylist who said please and thank you so much! Years ago I used to work in the hair industry (head office) and have had my share of stylists, so I have to say I really enjoy a stylist who is confident enough to give you recommendations and tips based on your hair type but yet is not overly pushy. Danny clearly loves what he does and it shows. I left delighted with my hair cut. I really like this salon and happy I stumbled across it. Will be back!

Omg !!! I have been trying to get my hair the way I want it for YEARS!!!…read moreI have lots of grey/silver hair with my naturally dark brown hair. I wanted my silver to blend in. I've gotten reddish hI-lights REPEATEDLY. Told my hair just lifts warm. I had a long time, 19+ years, stylist. I changed to a younger funkier stylist. 2x I didn't get what I wanted. I was very sad. I was leaving for holiday in a few weeks and really wanted my hair "did" for it. I asked a friend who she goes to cuz her hair is magnificent, she said Leah was her girl. Leah was booked the friendly receptionist suggested Sam and I could get in the next day. I booked then almost canceled. I was terrified of getting something ugly. I went even though I was so scared. I arrived 20 minutes early. The receptionist greeted me and offered a hot cuppa coffee and shortly after Sam came and got me. I showed him a few, many lol, pics on my Pinterest and he said yes we can do that. Not today but we'll get started. I thought oh great this song and dance again. I've heard this !!! He said I see a icy blonde and get rid of the uneven black... Balance it out. Within 45 minutes I was under the drier and then the sink, waiting for my hair to process and lift. The sink had a foot rest and was THE most comfy wash chair I'd ever been in. Sam explained everything he did along the way. He cut my hair and taught the receptionist how he does layers. He was kind and patient with her. Asking questions about her schooling and being so supportive and enthusiastic about her progress. Sam cut my hair and left it longer than I wanted but it looked AWESOME!!!! He trimmed a tad more, blew it dry then had the receptionist curl my hair. She was so sweet. Talkative and kind. She took me outside to take pics and then cashed me out. Sam came over to wish me well and thank me for my business. I took my own pics and sent them to my hubby and daughter. They both loved my hair and even commented that it's NEVER looked so good. I will most definitely be back and will tell everyone to go there !!!!!

I have been looking for a hairdresser for a couple of years after coming to Calgary. I have asked women on the streets if I thought their cuts were done nicely. Then I would go and check the salons spending lots of money and having one failure after another. Sometimes the I would go to the same place for 2-3 times until they ruin my hair or make a fatal mistake in cutting. And then repeat ad nauseum. Finally I got lucky. I saw a lady with a great haircut, I made a compliment, she said she gets great comments about her hair every time, I got the address and the name. It was early March and I had to wait for two weeks to get an appointment. " He must be popular"- I said to the receptionist. "Oh, yes!"-she said with pride in her voice. Sam is great. He is never pushy. He will ask what you want but I prefer to ask _him_ what is the best for my hair. His salon carries a line of products but he never up-sells. And the products work, too.
