Outstanding Emergency Service and Quick Response!…read more We had an unexpected HVAC emergency on a Sunday morning and needed help before the problem caused further damage. Our neighbor alerted us that our outdoor HVAC unit was making a loud noise while the fan was running. When we investigated, it appeared that a snake had become caught in the unit (see photos). We first contacted the HVAC company where we have a maintenance plan, but they couldn't send a technician until Monday afternoon. Since we were concerned about the potential for further damage, we wanted the problem addressed as soon as possible. Based on recommendations from friends and neighbors, we called Family Air Conditioning & Heating around 9:30 a.m. Someone answered promptly and was able to dispatch a technician that same morning. We were given an arrival window of 9:30-11:30 a.m. and received a text confirmation along with a photo and background information about our technician, Ricky. Even better, Ricky arrived within 30 minutes of our call! Ricky was knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. He explained what he was doing throughout the process. After removing the snake's head from the top of the HVAC unit, he thoroughly cleaned the fan blades and vacuumed the bottom of the unit, where the remaining parts of the snake's body were located. He also checked for potential electrical damage. We were extremely pleased with Family Air Conditioning & Heating's responsiveness, especially on a Sunday, and the quality of the technical service we received on such short notice. When you're dealing with an unexpected problem and are concerned about possible damage to an expensive piece of equipment, having someone respond quickly and take the time to do the job thoroughly makes all the difference. We highly recommend Family Air Conditioning & Heating, and we especially appreciate Ricky for his excellent service. We would absolutely call them again!

Highly recommend HomePros Cooling & Heating for a new A/C installation in Fort Myers. I obtained…read moreproposals from several well-regarded local HVAC companies before replacing the system in my Fort Myers condo, and HomePros ultimately stood out for the combination of fair pricing, a thorough proposal, and the confidence they gave me in the quality of the installation. One of the owners personally came out to evaluate the job and prepare the estimate. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and never high-pressure. He clearly explained the equipment and installation process and answered all of my questions before I committed. HomePros installed a new 2-ton Comfortmaker system, including the thermostat, UV system, surge protection, condensate overflow protection, permitting and inspection. The installation crew was professional and careful, and everything was completed exactly as promised and at the agreed price. I did quite a bit of research before choosing an HVAC contractor, including comparing equipment, warranties, installation procedures, reviews and pricing. HomePros provided excellent value and, just as importantly, inspired confidence throughout the process. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for A/C replacement or HVAC installation in the Fort Myers area.

It was a Trane and installed by Climate Control. A man named Rodney gave me a great deal on the unit and they installed it with minimal trouble. Seven years later they came back when I had my first issue. One of the coils had corroded through. They gave me a reasonable price for the repair and because I helped the tech with the install they cut the bill by $200. Just had my second issue. Realized house was getting warmer while unit was running. Climate Control had a tech on-site within 3 hours and kept me informed by cell when to expect him. I think his name was Alex. Great tech who found a heavy wire had corroded through. He installed a new socket fixture and topped up the coolant. Best $162.00 I have spent this year. June/July/August is no fun in Naples without a/c - even for a few hours. I trust this company as a trust few others. They have been fair and honest with me.

Walking behind my fiance's place in St. Croix we found a sticker from Patriot Cooling Inc placed on…read moreher A/C condenser unit, which we'd never heard of.  We never hired them, nor did they perform any service on that unit. Looking down the line, every single condenser unit had the same sticker. I called Patriot Cooling and they claimed they might have "a lot of customers" in the area -- but based on what we saw, this was obviously a blanket sticker placement, not legitimate service markings. After a short walk through several buildings in the complex, we found that nearly every unit in the vicinity had been tagged, usually every single condenser in the line. Some were even placed directly over the original installer's label, which is not only completely unfair to those businesses, but quite problematic if you ever need that info for warranty or service records.  (to add insult to injury the stickers are the kind that leave behind residue.) Not the biggest issue plaguing Southwest Florida, but if *every* business did this our equipment would be plastered with random labels.  It also creates confusion about who actually installed or serviced the unit.  I understand small business owners want to drum up business, but hopefully they rethink this approach going forward. The pictures attached are just a very, very small sampling
