First, I would like to say: LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A CHIROPRACTOR!!!!! The staff at 1st Choice Chiropractic is top of the line in chiropractic services and very reasonable in price. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeble, courteous and miracle workers in my opinion. I met Mr. Geskie about 2 years ago at a bridal event. After talking with him and explaining I had been to several chiropractors before, and that none of them helped with my back and neck problems, he convinced me I should give 1st Choice a try. After the 1st visit I felt like a whole new person! I have never experienced anything like it, and was also astounded by the professionalism of their staff. I woke up this morning with horrible neck/back pain DESPERATE for help. They were gracious enough to fit me in later that same morning. After a quick visit, I was able to move my neck completely, and without pain. They have helped me with scheduled visits, and in a pinch with emergency visits such as this morning. I have never been dissatisfied with their services, and am sold as a client for life! If you are ever in need of chiropractic services, then 1st choice needs to be your first choice. read more

I went here to get an hour massage, and it was an interesting place. It's quite large and felt very much like a medical office. It was a really uneventful check in and the receptionist was very helpful. The massage therapist who greeted me was very friendly. The massage room was comfortable, and average. The lighting was a bit bright, but the therapist went through the usual intro. The massage itself was nothing memorable. I really have no other way of describing it other than as very "average." She spent some time getting out the knots in my back, which was the best part of the massage, but for everything else it was generally not that great. I got a deal on the massage that they were having and that's why I'm giving it an average review. If I had paid more for it, I would have given it lower reviews. Generally very average. I probably would just pay more and go somewhere a bit better next time. read more

UPDATE DEC 2013: I gave them another try, with a groupon. The massage therapy has improved a lot. The therapist (Christina) is great. My only big complaint is that you can hear a door slam loudly periodically from inside the room. I also only got 50 minutes instead of a full hour. They have dimmed the lights, painted, and added music, which is great. Huge improvement. 11/15/2011: This was for massage service, not chiropractic service. With that in mind: I scheduled a massage for the following day, and when I arrived for my appointment, no one was there. I called and left messages, knocked on the door, and waited for nearly 20 minutes before giving up. Later that afternoon, I called and spoke to the receptionist who apologized and rescheduled my appointment for the following week. I was annoyed, since I'd driven 30 minutes to go to the appointment, but whatever. Water under the bridge. When I got to my appointment yesterday, I wasn't greeted by the massage therapist. Perhaps she was embarrassed about standing me up last week? Who knows. I was open and warm and friendly to her, and we went back to the massage room. Truly, I wanted to enjoy this massage, and I had let go of any animosity I had about my no-show. The massage room had 3 separate piles of dirty laundry (sheets, blankets etc) wrapped up and stuffed either under the massage table or into a bookcase. The massage was mediocre at best. The room was not soundproof, and the massage was periodically punctuated by slamming doors and voices. There were minutes-long gaps in the massage where she was moving around or getting something. To top it off, she ended my massage 10 minutes early. I smiled warmly and tipped her, but I definitely won't be back. Ouch. read more

I have been going to First Choice for several years both when I have an issue and for general maintenance. Generally I go once a month. Dr. Dee is my regualr doctor and he is fabulous but when he isn't available I see Dr. G and he is equally as good. He is my husband's regualr chiropractor. It took me years of back pain to see a chiropractor, because I was convinced it was muscular and chiropractic care wouldn't help. I was VERY wrong. During my initial consultation, Dr. Dee explained the various curves of my spine and how it influences my back muscles, and he was then able to work things out so that I've spent more of the last nearly 3 years pain-free than I had the 8 years before meeting with him. I don't need constant care, but when I do have a flare-up, Dr. Dee works to correct it as efficiently as possible, making it worth the extra drive for me. The staff is also very accommodating, and I'm often able to get appointments within 24 hours. Because I have an FSA available for medical expenses, I often need detailed copies of my payment receipt, and the office staff usually emails the receipt within 24 hours. read more

Over the past few years, I had been getting headaches 4-5 days out the week, and so harsh that I couldn't function some days. My PCP's and neurologist kept prescribing me migraine medications and narcotics to manage them, which were not working for me. I kept saying I was sure it had something to do with my spine/neck, yet it was more meds, brain scans and habit tracking. I finally decided to come to First Choice, and within my first appointment Dr. Dee did an exam and xrays, diagnosed me (finally!), and had started outlining a treatment plan for me! I am so very glad that she did. My experience with First Choice Chiropractic has been amazing. After the first time I tried it, I could feel a HUGE difference. You see, I thought that my back & neck had been bothering me due to stress and the effects that stress can have on the muscles. So I had spent a countless amount of money getting massages, which didn't seem to really "fix" the problem. One adjustment and I realized what I had been missing. I started out using a Groupon, the price was right and I figured I had nothing to lose. Got a good Massage and Chiro evaluation thorough. Having been to several Chiropractors over the years I'd had a range of experiences to compare to and was quite pleased with this one. The staff has always been extremely pleasant, Dr. Geskie is very nice, knowledgeable and even took care of a shoulder issue I'd been experiencing. Ashley is the best, she has been able to accommodate my schedule every time and helped out with my financial needs as well. My experience with the massage was nice, room could have been a little darker and quieter but the therapist did a good job of relaxing my muscles and giving me a good stretch. The only reason I wouldn't give the entire experience 5 stars is, in a word, privacy. Not a big fan of the open air layout but that is a small thing in the overall picture.
