Plus they made my husband give them my code and I found that they invaded my privacy of my device because they never successfully cleared my recently used apps from my iPad after they rummaged through it. My accounts are locked with fingerprint but yes that was very naughty Cash America Pawn so don't do it again.

They took advantage of a young girl right in front of me. They sold her a tv and wanted her to buy their "protection plan. She declined and asked about the remote. Guy went to the back of the store and brought out a remote. After her purchase she left and the guy turns and says, " I guess she should have bought the protection because she's not getting anything from that tv." (As he laughs at his on joke.) After I heard that, after them already being rude I left without purchasing anything. Now jump ahead 2 days. I'm at the hospital and run into this young lady. She actually works there. We start talking and come to find out the tv did not work and when she took it up there to return, they denied her return and blamed her for the tv not working. That's some super shady shit but since she can't do anything about it and she's out 200.00, I thought more people should know how these people do business. Deplorable behavior.

Houston, TX. 77073…read moreI've conducted business at this location over time with no problems however a new manager took over about two months ago and under her management I have experienced nefarious incidents, I went in to extend a pawn ticket that I was unable to retrieve before its deadline so to maintain and not loos your item you are allowed to pay a month of interest. I only had tow items at this store, I explained extensively what items I was paying for and yet the employee put my money on the item that was not even due yet due to the fact the item he applied it to had just been pawned two days earlier and was not even due yet! so my Item dropped! meaning now they can sale or you can buy back which you will pay much more to get your item back, in discussion with the manager she says theirs nothing she can do, which I did not believe under the circumstances if my employee makes a mistake which jeopardizes my customer as a manager I would be compiled to make my customer whole. and she goes on to say she could see that I had visited another location and she couldn't understand why they didn't tell me I was about to loose a item at her store!?!? so she's calling out another store for poor customer service but want do proper customer service for a mistake that happened at her store, this displays her insincerity and to me her complicity in this out come. she even went as for as to say to me it is your responsibility to check you receipts before you sign them, I stated I had not experienced any problems in the past and trusted the integrity of the establishment up until now. fast forward I went into pay on the same tickets again and the same thing happened with a different agent, this screams directive from management twice by two deferent employees? not a mistake! and as we are doing the paper work she tried to double the amount I had borrowed to over charge me for the loan I caught it before signing. these people ant right do no business with them!!!
