Worst experience I have had with a survey company in 15 years of buying houses. They turned off their google reviews after one bad one, so I didn't know they had a bad reputation. John and Ann were highly dishonest and only replied when they wanted payment. Despite paying over $2,500, I still had to hire another company to get an accurate survey. They forgot that I hired them because they had completed a neighbors survey and spent 2 weeks charging me to look for the information I researched and provided prior to beginning. They asked me to "help" them as they couldn't make any progress, and that is when I reminded them of the neighbor's survey. Then, it was found immediately. However, despite that being the 5th time I reminded them, they had no shame and didn't even offer an apology. When I had my measurements for my fence, it turned out each side was different than the drawing verified by Mr. Luciani. The stakes were set incorrectly. Bummer, but surely they would take pride in their work and fix it...so I assumed. Instead, they threatened legal action and charged us interest. It is always even more disappointing as I had to follow up each step of the way and, after 3 months, finally got the end result, which led to still no valid survey for a fence installation. I got bamboozled thinking, taking their promises in good faith. However, I was able to get supporting evidence from neighbors who were highly irritated by the number of questions and how long it took them to complete the work. Be cautious. Get everything in writing. Kate is very nice at the front desk. However, she promised Mr. Luciani would reach out a number of times, and it never happened. I doubt this was her fault. However, as a company, communication and cohesiveness internally were clearly lacking. The poor survey techs admitted to being so tight on time that they couldn't get all the surveys done they had scheduled. read more
