A man named Warren Duffy called my place of business multiple times. He has been notified repeatedly that we want to be on the Do not call list, and he continues to ignore it. This time, when I told him we weren't interested, he began to scream at me SO LOUD my boss heard it from another room. He told me he wouldn't put me on a do not call list, and I should tell people I'm not interested in a service right away, but he never identified his business - and I am not a mind reader. This is the worst processing company! I had them for 15 years. Just recently I had another company look over my statements and found they were charging me monthly for a processing terminal I hadnt used in 5 years! They owed me 800.00 dollars. I got it back after many weeks and phone calls. I then decided to cancel them. When I did they took 960.00 out of my account. They claim it was for a processing terminal that I no longer used. I had to swippers and I returned them the next day. It took me even more phone calls and 4 weeks to get my refund. I also feel the document stating they will take 960.00 out if terminal if not returned was cooy and pasted to create the document. I signed it 2016 the employee was 2018. Which is fishy. They are not nice on the phone especially Amirylis she was nasty and lied about how long before I would get the money back. Overall they are rip off artists. read more

I had an account with this company for 10 years. When I closed up shop, I was told (twice!) to return the machine to the First Capital office in Rochester. However, the leasing company kept charging my account. When I called First Capital, they told me I was actually supposed to send the machine directly to Northern Leasing (who I have called and emailed numerous time over the last three months to no avail). The only one at First Capital that will actually talk to me is customer service, other departments won't call back. After 4 months of getting nowhere, I asked First Capital to return the machine to me (since I am STILL paying on the lease). That was a week ago. Still haven't received the machine, tracking says it's still pending. Waiting now to see if they will return my phone call, again! (Not holding my breath.) read more

Their rates are comparable, but that's where it stops. Once you sign the contract, they begin assessing fees that are in the contract but that they don't disclose in the offer, they leased me a terminal for 3 years for $20.00 a month. Our new processor (with rates basically the same) sold me a new machine for $200.00. They also charge a $495.00 early termination fee. First Capital Payments may follow the letter of the law, but they are unethical and I would highly recommend staying far, far away from them! read more
