I read the review from 2013 stating to not use this State Farm branch. While reading this review, I…read morecould see the customer was upset and understand why. But, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that is out of an Agent's control that this customer may not be aware of. But just to be clear and transparent, I do not know or work for this Agent. I have called this Agent's office twice to ask a few questions. I spoke with two ladies in this office and the Agent, Frank. They all were very helpful and kind. I was never asked to write a review as our conversation was strictly professional as I had a few questions for the Agent. When the Agent or staff write a policy, they can sell the policy based on the information you provided on your application. But, if there are things on your insurance history / record that you did not advise of on your application, these things are found when the policy application is sent to Underwriting to process and write. There are specific items that can determine your risk and if that insurer can write your policy. If something on your insurance record comes up once Underwriting receives your application that changes the policy from being able to be written, Underwriting usually sends a letter, and corporate refunds your payment. This does not come from the Agent's office. The Agent and staff are usually not aware of it right away either. They have no control or say over this as well. With this being said, it can take a few weeks to get everything processed and the correct documentation sent to you with your refund as it is all through corporate. I can see where this customer was upset, as she didn't know the process and thought the Agent was maybe behind this. I hope this helps someone reading this. I took the time to write this as I had nothing but great customer service and a pleasant experience with this Agent and his staff. They were highly professional and prompt when helping me. Cheers!

And instead of the owner doing it himself he has his employees do it for him. Here's something you need to know about Barion He is not in the Rochester office. He lives in Florida and watches his employees through various monitors. And when he thinks something is not going correctly Tell his minions to pass along the message. His Second in command, Bob told me he needed to speak to me at the end of the day. I asked him if I was being let go because I know I made a few mistakes. And I will admit that, but I've been only working there for one month. And he said no of course not. And after five I went to their office him and Paula another employee who works there told me I was being let go because they thought the job was too stressful for me. Instead of humiliating me, and have me come into work a full shift they could've easily called me and told me not to come in. But since they have no backbones, they couldn't do that. Paula reiterated to make sure I leave the key behind. She proceeded to follow me, but then stopped and just looked at me as I left the building. She was keeping an eye me, as if I was going to steal something. From day one, they told me that they will work at my place and ask as many questions as I can. But after the That changed. Anytime I had a question I was snapped at or give the passive aggressive answers. You talk about a very passive aggressive man, Jim, is someone you need to watch out for. He is not a nice individual. They make it very clear to leave him alone and only contact him through email. He is all sweet as pie to you in the beginning, but then he expect you to get it after a few weeks. Barion Sits behind his computer monitors and keyboard in Florida watching everyone do his work. And it was made clear To me on day, one that you were never To contact the owner unless it was considered to be a very life-threatening emergency. When people spoke him, it was as if he was to be feared. They told me that they would work at my pace But clearly, that was a lie for them to let me go After a month. Barion Instead of being a coward and hiding behind your employees and your security cameras, how about you try being a decent human being and talking to your employees. Don't have other people do your work you can easily told me that it wasn't a good fit by . But instead you humiliated me by having me come and work a full shift, knowing very well, you were going to let me go. The only person who I will miss is Laurie. She was the most kindhearted Caring and compassionate individual I've ever had as a mentor in any job before. Laurie I wish you nothing but the best. Thank you for everything. You are truly a godsend. To Barion learn how to be a decent human being. You could've easily given me a call and told me that It wasn't working out but instead you Your minions do the hard work for you because you don't wanna take any accountability for your actions
