Overall rating: 1 star for the center (5 stars for Classroom 250; 1 star for Classroom 300; 0 stars…read morefor the Director and Owner). Our child attended this center for seven months and was enrolled in both Classrooms 250 and 300. Our initial experience was positive but since Dec 2025, the center became increasingly disorganized, and the overall quality noticeably declined. Classroom 250 - 5 stars: The teachers were caring, patient, and nurturing. Our child enjoyed being with them. However, since Dec 2025, the lead teacher has had frequently been asked to cover other classrooms. Children in Classroom 250 were occasionally combined with those in Classroom 200, which raises concerns about classroom consistency and supervision. Classroom 300 - 1 star: There were significant supervision and hygiene issues in Classroom 300. Basic practices--such as ensuring children wash their hands after outdoor play and before snack time--were not consistently followed. During our child's transition from Classroom 250 to 300, he experienced two separate playground incidents within 24 hours. One resulted in a bruise right by his left eye after falling from a bike because there is a slope on the playground. The other involved a nosebleed after falling from the slide. The second incident occurred only a couple of hours after I had explicitly requested additional attention and supervision for him, as he was navigating the new environment. In both incidents, the lead teacher was absent. An inexperienced and inattentive assistant teacher was supervising 11 children alone on a large playground that includes a slope and a big and tall slide. No call for the first incident, and no written reports were not provided within 48 hours. We received the written reports one week later for both incidents after repeated requests, with only the Director's but not the teachers' signatures. Director, Ms. Haylee Warren - zero star: 1. Defensive and unprofessional: She claimed us of 'questioning their policy' when we asked for their incident reporting policy. 2. Blaming the parents: She claimed that we were upset for every incident occurred to our child, which is not true. Our child was bitten three times by the same child within three weeks (excluding 10 sick days in February). We didn't go to her after the first bite. We spoke with her only after learning the second bite involved a repeat biter. We didn't even go to her after the bruise incident on the 300 playground. She claimed that we did not give Classroom 300 teachers a chance, which is not true either. We sent our child back to 300 the very next morning after the bruise incident because we understood transitions can be challenging. She also claimed that our expectations were too high to meet, even though we explicitly indicate that our only expectation was our child's safety. 3. Not sympathetic: She (and the owner) described three bites from a repeat biter within three weeks, as well as a bruise right by the eye and nosebleed within 24 hours, as "normal." While occasional incidents can occur, repeated injuries without meaningful intervention raise valid concerns. 4. Biased favor of Classroom 300 teachers: She kept defending the teachers even after we raised serious concerns, including lack of supervision by the two teachers, inadequate communication regarding the bruise incident, and one teacher applying makeup (face powder) in the classroom during class hours 5. Suspiciously being dishonest: She stated that no other parents had complained about Classroom 300. However, another parent shared similar safety and hygiene concerns with us and offered to join our meeting with the director, which was declined. The owner - zero star: We were disappointed by the owner's response. There was no apology for our child's injuries. Instead, the owner asked us: * "Do you really think the two incidents require a written report?" We were shocked that the owner asked this question. Both injuries occurred above the neck. It is unclear why the owner would consider it unreasonable for parents to request written incident reports for injuries of this nature. * "The teacher did not see where your son hit himself after the bike fall, so she did not report the incident": This statement itself highlights a serious supervision concern. One unexperienced assistant teacher was responsible for supervising 11 children on a large playground with obstructed sightlines. If a child is injured and no adult witnesses how it occurred, that raises significant concerns about supervision and safety. This constitutes child neglect, and the center bears significant responsibility.

We loved Ms Keisha her homeroom teacher who went above and beyond for my kids . Whenever she is there my kid had the best time , she always told us how my kid was doing her best everyday . We were looking for a school that provides the same structure, schedule, and engagement as we have at home for our little one. This school is everything and then some! The teachers really listen and work together with you on everything. The director is wonderful and runs a tight ship. We especially love how they include parents in a variety of different events throughout the school year. Our baby girl is very happy here! Highly recommend!

We were expecting him to still be a little emotional as he was still on daily pain medication, but were surprised to be called 2 out of 5 days to pick him up within 2 hours of drop off. I would think that they would have floaters and processes to help a child adjust to a new program. I requested in writing footage of his meltdown with his teacher on Friday, and never received a response. We were then phoned on Friday afternoon by the Director, stating that they were not equipped to provide care for my son and that a refund check for the weeks I had paid in advance would be waiting for me to pickup the following Monday. I requested my application fee also be refunded, and the school has refused. My son is now at day 5 in what was originally our 2nd choice daycare and has not had any incidents. I wish we would have went with them in the first place and not relied on the Primrose name.

The staff and owners treat you like family, and it will be emotional to move onto kindergarten at another school. If you are looking for a place that cares about kids, curriculum, and growing your kids from infancy through little kid, this is the place to go. They will work with you for any preferences you have and pay special attention to your/kid's needs. We will miss you TLE but will continue to recommend this place to friends and family! From 2018: The Learning Experience in Lewisville is one of the few places I've found that really cares about the well-being of our children. After visiting several places to send my infant, TLE stood out as a place that is hands-on through all developmental milestones, and goes above and beyond in ensuring that each child is cared for according to his/her preferences and personality. It's not a 'one size fits all' place where they merely babysit; staff and caregivers get to know each child and provide the appropriate care based on his/her needs. As a first-time mom, I was extra scared and skeptical about daycares, and from the moment I stepped into TLE I knew this was going to be my baby's 'home away from home', and all my skepticism melted away. I encourage anyone who is looking for childcare to visit this location; so far, it's the best decision I've made for my child.

Thieves. Should be called Un-American Montessori Campus. I…read moregave a 30 Day notice of taking our daughter out of school ghosted me when I asked about deposit. Always check whatever they are trying to bill you. *If you have or know people here, do everyone a favor and take them somewhere else. * Do NOT BELIEVE OTHER FAKE REVIEWS, If it's someone who's left only 1 or 2 reviews with 5 stars, fake. Zarha is the Owner, and avoids dealing with you by hiding behind other employees. We talked about bringing our daughter back after our time away, but all that notion went away when she decided to ghost me when I inquired about moving some of my days from the 1 week paid when my daughter was getting sick and only attended 2&1/2 days out of the 5. Not even a courtesy. So then forget it i'll eat those costs[mind you this is after pay this school since last year and paying for that extra week before leaving], our daughter was feeling some what okay by friday, so she went in, and we agreed to finish our time by tuesday, but we agreed on a weekly rate, which she did not honor for our last 2 days. SO fed up with sleazy people like this, it's these little things that really pisses you off. This type of bold robbery reflects a good chance this isn't the first time doing this. 1. Refuses to return deposit after given 30 day notice as stated on their policy, I told them I have some military training coming up. 2. They ghosted me on emails and calls when asking about deposit. 3. They wanted to charge me for bring our child on time to class. In their guideline the wrote, drop of is 8:20-8:30 it also said to bring your kids to school on time. I HAD TO HIGHLIGHT IT IN HER OWN HANDBOOK TO SHOW HER, she wanted to pinch more money out of us. one of them even says 8:27, school starts at 8:30 she wanted to bill us for bring her "EARLY". Why did she not tell you all this but wait till 2 months later to bill you? Yeah, we can all imagine her motives. 9/15 for a drop off at 7:17, yeah right, my daughter wasn't even awake then. I'd like to see this fake made up number show up on video. 9/23 wanted to charge us 10x her usual "Early fee". Good thing my wife asked for a breakdown. 1 mistake I can understand maybe even 2, but seriously this is Criminal, I've seem more honest inmates working for the sheriff county Jail than this. Want to train your family to be on on time and honest? Stay far away from here. I've contacted the Texas Attorney General & BBB, stealing from children are the worst kind of people.

CONSTANT FRUSTRATION, LACK OF CONCERN, AND HOSTILITY…read more My son has been attending for only 5 months. It's been a difficult experience, which started immediately after we enrolled. Our son is no longer attending, and we never enrolled our younger son. Recently relocated, we did not want to further disturb our son's schooling by moving again. We tried to make the best of the situation, however, we were met with constant frustration, lack of concern, and hostility. There was constant frustration due to the admin's inability to provide accurate information, and having difficulty remembering important conversations. For example, we were told class cameras would be set up during our tour to watch our son on occasion. After 4 months of asking I finally PRESSED and was told "we never said we'd fix the camera." My husband goes in, and miraculously the cameras are fixed the next day. I was told lunch was healthy, at the very least no canned food, and like any Montessori school, no candy/sweets (they give as a snack many days). I asked for a picture of the food to ensure all was well, after asking for a very long time, pictures clearly show canned food. I asked the admin to highlight meals that will have canned food to pack those days (she said no canned food at first, then said some...). She hands back every meal highlighted. Just seems like more care could be given. The lack of care was further shown when our son was hit/scratched by another student (other student's fault). First, they verbally told me an inaccurate account of what happened (my son explained). The teacher did not even know what day it happened. Because of that, I had to ask for an incident report (you should always have one when your child is injured). I got back a few words in the report, so I asked for a more detailed report (to handle any future issues). The request was met with almost physical hostility when I simply asked to review the final report one last time. Needless to say, it was the final straw. In the least, I certainly recommend asking very detailed questions and documenting all communications.

We took them out until we could figure out what was going on. When we were ready to have them go back our spots had been filled. I did a search of the area and stumbled upon Happy Tree. Ms. Danielle was extremely responsive and we had a brief phone call before we toured the school. During the phone call with Ms. Danielle it just felt right. When we toured, I knew it was right. When they were enrolled, they had just turned two and within weeks I could see a huge difference in their growth and development. They are now 4.5 and came home one day and recited all the presidents! They are writing and spelling their names, adding and subtracting and much, much more. It's extremely bittersweet that they are moving on and we will very much miss Happy Tree and all they've done to prepare them for their future education.

He became so comfortable with the teachers in his class that he would specifically look for them when he walked in the building. They are so loving and caring. I had some apprehension because my son has a hearing aide that needs to be removed for naps and water activities. It is also extremely difficult to get him to keep it in and for other students not to yank at it. They took the time to learn how to place and remove the device and also helped him keep up with it. As he moved up in classes, he became just as fond of the new teachers as the old and they encouraged some independent learning. They also got him to eat vegetables almost everyday which is impossible at home. We wouldn't have believed it if we didn't see it with our own eyes. Another great thing about the facility is you can pop in on your child any day or any time. They have an open door policy for parents and it makes you feel at ease when they are willing to be so open. We moved and had to change child care. It was a difficult decision to make because our son enjoyed his classmates and teachers so much.
