He couldn't shake the worried feeling, and said, "I just hope he knows we're coming back." I told him, and I reminded myself, that I believed our son was ready and that the experience of being without us would strengthen him, and seeing us walk back through the door later that day would secure him. I don't know what made me sure of this other than the confidence Primrose of Frisco at Main/Teel gave me and my mama intuition. I felt that before anyone else, I first, needed to have the belief in my son and his capabilities - even at only 15 months old. I share this story with you for any parent out there leaving their child for the first time in the hands of a good teacher and school. Your child can do this! And, so can you! Our son has continued going to school even through the pandemic. (Again, personal mama intuition on this choice. Please don't judge.) School closures and the lockdowns were launched in March and Primrose of Frisco at Main/Teel didn't skip a (heart) beat. Temp checks, no parents passed the front door, more curriculum outdoors, etc. - they were ready and willing and brave. There's been excellent communication at all times. At the beginning of the year, our son had begun the "terrible twos" and by March they were in FULL swing! Because of the continued support and attention from his teachers, his communication and growth have exceled! March, April, May, June, July, August - I can't imagine and can't thank this group of leaders and teachers enough for their dedication during this unprecedented time. And I can't imagine the valuable time our son would have lost without the opportunity to attend school. Our daughter recently joined her brother almost two months ago. Drop off was very different this time around and now it was ME crying with unrest. I knew she was capable; she had my confidence. But... we didn't get to hold her hand while we walked her to class. It was a feeling I wasn't used to, simply passing her off at the front door. But once again, I put my faith and trust in the teachers and they have helped guide this ship in so many ways. In a world that feels so unpredictable, so "on the verge," so uneasy, I am so thankful for the steadiness our teachers and family at Primrose of Frisco at Main/Teel have provided our family and so many others. We love the associate director at this school and we thought we loved the teachers. but there have…read morebeen stories of kids being locked up in the bathroom. there are no cameras in the classrooms. when it is a child's voice vs. an adult's story unfortunately it is difficult to prove. if you have a child or toddler who attends this school strongly encourage you to have conversations with them about being locked in the bathroom for being "bad". DFPS dropped by this school but found nothing. it is difficult to prove wrongdoing when dfps drops by for a short amount of time.

By a known bully who's allowed because he's the son of their employee. pro: the facility is clean, has routine (even if it's not good routine, it's still organized), nice lunch. has activities like fam movie night or parent night out. con: downhill starting toddler room. too much change and high turn-over in younger class. my 2 turned 3 yr old reported 2diff teachers physically aggressive 2 diff occasions. The abusers didn't expect her to speak so well. I pity the children who can't. Both remain employed. One isn't allowed with our kid. The other had given her notice to quit acknowledging she's not fit to work with the kids... (yet was still allowed) What the school sweeps under the rug and calls our kid's 'perception' I assure the thousands of parents seeing this, is a lived experience. Per others reviews, clearly, we're not the only ones. Don't let it be yours. Unless you only want a daycare, class reps who are not teachers and lack anger management, a place with sense of community-amongst employees only, and where your children's development and word are not supported, reconsider!

I love how the school staff really takes time to remember every student and makes sure everyone is greeted by their names. They try to know every family on a personal level and we really were able to build a relationship here. I'm always surprised by the artworks our kiddo takes home every week, I can tell the teachers are working really hard to help students to thrive. Huge shout out to Ms. Dani, who was always able to calm our son whenever he's fuzzy and put our mind at ease. We know our 2.5 yr old is not easy to work with and seeing him enjoying school so much means a lot to us. We are grateful for primrose independence and can't wait to take advantage of their sibling discount when our daughter is a bit older.

The teachers are all so caring and kind. The facility had just been completely renovated when we started. It's gorgeous!! And they have really great playgrounds. Since it's the summer they do "Splash Pad Fridays" and my son gets so crazy excited. I love seeing the pics from it! The have really convenient hours too. Oh and their safety measures in place for COVID make it even better! Valet pick up and drop off.. I never get out of my car which is awesome especially when I'm late for work! Ha! Love this place!!
