We started at Alpha when our little one was one year old. It meant a LOT to me that he happily walked into the school for drop-off every day. The staff greets him by name at the door each morning and loves on him throughout the day. Two years later, our 3 year old is still happily (minus the occassional toddler tantrum :-) walking into school every day. Ms. Rupali runs a tight ship and you can see all the love and effort she pours into the kids. We love Ms. Rupa, Ms. Janet, Ms. Shanti, & Ms. Beth. I am amazed at how much he is learning and growing at Alpha (writing his name, the alphabet, and sight words). Alpha has been such a blessing to our family. Alpha Montessori School has been part of our family for the past 7 years. Our oldest attended 2 years here from 4-6 years old and we couldn't have been happier with the staff, curriculum, cleanliness and just overall facility. We enrolled in this school during the pandemic when parents/visitors were not allowed beyond the front door and students had to undergo temperature screenings and a sanitization process before going to class. Initially, it was agonizing dropping off kids at the front entrance without knowing their teachers or seeing the classroom but we understood the significance of these protocols and it made us feel at peace knowing that the school administration and teachers take the safety and wellbeing of the children and staff very seriously. Fast-forward years later, we are still very pleased with the school administration and staff because they genuinely take care of the kids, their curriculum is quality and adequately prepares kids for transition to elementary, and the kids enjoy attending school every day. read more

If you have a child who demonstrates leadership skills, creative skills and/or out of the box thinking skills then this is definitely NOT the place for your child. I am a teacher and for the past 16 years I have taught pre-school children, middle schoolers and at the moment high school students. I have experienced difficult and strong will children and learned how to encourage them to be the best they can be instead of bringing them down and breaking their spirit. I also learned how to communicate with parents and being understanding to their children's own needs. Well you won't find any of that in this school. First of all my daughter's teacher in the 4 year old classroom told me: "I've never seen anything like your daughter". "There's something wrong with her" "She needs to see a counselor" "She doesn't understand anything". All these comments were because my daughter wanted to color a tree red and black rather than green and brown!! My daughter is a strong will child and likes to do things her way but I didn't feel it was fair or nice to tell me all those things about my child. I never felt any support from the owner either. It was obvious the main priority here is the money. Once we decided to withdrawl our daughter we never received any communication from the owner trying to resolve the issue. Every morning I dropped my daughter I felt she was not welcomed there. It broke my heart I had to finished the month there before withdrawing her. I would NEVER recommend this daycare to anyone! read more

Thank you to entire Alpha Montessori team for keeping my child safe during Covid time. They followed and following the state and CDC guidelines and making sure their students and staff are safe. Trust on the school has simply doubled after one incident- my kid lost a valuable and the entire staff searched for 2-3 days. Provided frequent updates and found the item. I guess this is just one of the examples. It's hard to maintain good reputation continuously, am surprised to hear feed back from Alpha's old student's parent and my kid is getting same level of attention. Academically we can see the growth in our kid every day. The staff and management are easily available. We know our kid are in safe hands and recommended to couple of friends too. Both of our children attend Alpha Montessori and they both love it here! They learn so much more than they would in a typical daycare, including life skills and age-appropriate educational topics. I feel good knowing they are in a structured environment that offers a balance of hands on learning as well as adequate play time. Both my girls attend Alpha and have loved it there for the past 4 years. My oldest started when she was just 8 months old and now our 6 month old attends as well. We have been thoroughly impressed with the care and education we have received. Their current teachers (Ms Safa and Ms Meena) provide excellent care and nuturing to our girls. All of the teachers we have been excellent and a big part of why we continue to stay with Alpha for these early childhood years. How can they call this school montessori based? The learning is not self directed. I didn't see any hands on learning happening. They did have one shelf in the toddler room that was filled with puzzles but that was it. It seemed like all classes were over populated and didn't have proper staff. This is simply a daycare with minimal things. However, there is zero space for kids to move around inside. Not to mention, the kids looked bored. While you tour the halls that are flooded with people, you can look into each class room. This is definitely a distraction as all kids are eyeing you down. Why not install one way windows? I wouldn't recommend sending your child here! read more

This school is the worst experience of a preschool that I have experienced in my parenting journey. The owner is very condescending and pretty much is looking for everywhere to Gobble money from parents. She is like the crook banks that want to charge you fees that they cook up. My issue - pick up is 3pm but you get to the school at 3 and there is a line at pick up. There have been times where I am in that line for more than 10mins. She says as long as you are in line you're fine but if you get there at 3.05 and you are waiting in line, you're late even though they are backed up. What is interesting is that she doesn't seem to take her condescending tone with Asians. Furthermore, forget about speaking to your child's teacher. They essentially don't want any interactions between parent and teachers because the teacher "doesn't have time". My boy loves his teacher and going to school but the owner and administrator make interactions extremely frustrating with their shady practices. read more

Overall Alpha Montessori is a great school - clean and new interior, nice teachers, and reasonably priced. My son has been learning a lot of different things and has been enjoying school. It would be great if they can offer more varieties with their lunch menu and can reduce their class size slightly (my son's class has 24 students - seems a bit too many). read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this school! This isn't just a school, it's an extension of our family. The teachers, staff and director truly care for the children as their own. We have two boys at the school and our oldest is doing elementary school with them as well! We find it a better option than our public school in prosper (yes, we drive from prosper). I just went to tour the school and was trying to inquire/profile the teachers just to understand the teacher churn with the front desk personnel. I completed the tour and came back home. In the evening i received a call from the director of the school (Roopali) and she very rude and got defensive for my question on teacher churn. Although I found it to be a little funny, the school head/director being so rude for such trivial question only exposed her aggressive nature. I would surely not like my kid get exposed to such an aggressive nature and decided not to enroll my kid at this school. read more

My experience with the school has been bad. The teachers were not experienced and had no knowledge how to teach kids. It is no different from a day care center, where they serve snacks, keep kids to bed and do some formal programs to just show parents that they are keeping kids engaged,which they actually don't do. I suggest the school to give more importance to kids development than financial aspects. read more

Parents, Please.....STAY away from this school! I would rate this school NO stars if I could. The owner just cares about money. They use cheap, uneducated and unprofessional people to work for them.No Certified teachers; Administrative staff is unsatisfactory in communication, honesty and transparency. They will loudly disagree with your complaints.Most of the staffs are not friendly , not only to the kids but to the parents as well. My daughter had very awful experiences a couple of times and i decided to take her back to her old facility. I started seeing changes in her in the first couple of weeks and she was reluctant to go to this school.Trust me that most of these good review here are posted from fake accounts remotely. I would strongly recommend the parents to visit this facility multiple times without any scheduled appointments to know the truth. We would like to a moment to thank Alpha Montessori school and teachers for the amazing work they have been doing. We have been part of Alpha Montessori family since our son was 6 months and we have only happy and supportive moments to share. We have our daughter coming for summer and spring camp and she likes to be part of it every year. Our son 3.5 years now comes back home learning something new to share every day. While the other schools in the area collect $200 - $300 security deposit, this school collects an atrociously much higher amount of $995 ( or even higher if your child is younger) as a security deposit, and from our experience, the school has no intentions of making this security deposit available to the parents when they are ready to leave. The management is too greedy and will simply refuse to even talk to parents when the parent would like to talk to them. My son once got hurt while in school and we suspected no supervision or teacher hurting the child but the school management refused to even let us see the video after initially being promised to be provided with the video of how my child got hurt. If the safety of your kid is paramount to you, then this school should be at the bottom of your list. The management is too authoritative and does not respect parents/ families/kids' safety in any way. Overall this was the worst school we had ever worked with! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this school whose only motto is MONEY. read more

The rudest management. When you go to enroll they treat you well but when it comes to handling accounting/holidays they are a nightmare... They have charged ~$1700 in excess and when I call them and ask, the answer I am getting is "Do whatever you want that money will not be refunded!!!". This was the best first school experience we could have ever imagined. Alpha montessori is the first school my son attended, starting at age 2. He had never been out of our care and away from home, so we were very critical of our school selection. Rupali mam and Miss Amanda have an incredible loving nature and only see the beauty and sweetness in children. This love and care brings out the best in these kids. My son, who had never really been attached to anyone except for us, instantly felt close to Miss Amanda and class teachers. While any new experience takes some adjusting, once he got comfortable, he thrived and absolutely loved going to school every day. Alpha Montessori school has been like a 2nd home for my kids. I sent both my kids to Alpha. Here the focus is not just academics but overall development of your kids. Teachers pay special attention to the individual needs of each and every kid. I loved the fact that they celebrate all faiths and have an annual cultural day. Ms Rupali and Ms Laura are very understanding and patient and are always available to listen to any concerns. I love that they have an open door policy. Ms Sheila and Ms Sameeta were teachers for my son and he always came home with happy stories. Both teachers are very caring and helpful and teach students how to be good in studies ( at their own individual pace) and also how to be disciplined and a good student and friend. The teachers address the students as " My Friends!". The food is good and they do allow parents to send food from home too. I love that they have soccer, totkwondo, art class, music, drama, basketball , ballet..to name a few... at the same location . Library time helps kids learn to read. Kids do get nap time and outside play time. My son loved practical life skills lessons. The school is clean, safe , and kids are very well cared for. Whenever I went in to drop my son, I saw that the teachers in the baby class cared for the babies extremely well! I am thankful to Alpha Montessori staff and teachers to have made such a positive impact on my kids' lives! read more
