"Furs" are older women who wear animal skins, and I'm not appreciative of it, no matter how hot they are (and a lot of them are not). If you want to see a sense of entitlement, watch the way "Furs Park" when they are visiting a restaurant or boutique.
First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - I didn't get to see a game at this stadium, but I did visit it on several occasions, and went inside once (don't tell the groundsman). I had no idea it'd be knocked down just 3 years after I was in there. A real shame. It was a nice little stadium which was cosy and I preferred it to the new one, but the new one has better facilities and room for expansion. I guess the fact that all of the corners were open and the place was falling apart, is why they knocked it down.
I have red-eye in the picture of me here and it's blurry, but like the other stadia, at some point I'll scan them all and upload them. Especially in this case since I can't go back and take more... since it no longer exists :(
So when I was doing my first tour of Scotland in 2011, I also hit up every single stadium in the country. My obsession with footy (soccer to Americans) is the reason. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are based on first-hand personal experience, usually from multiple visits. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was "stuck" in UK for 3 months, I went to most of them yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at many of them, which I will post later. Also, when back in Scotland I plan to take more pix, and add more stadia! So watch this space!

This stadium was demolished, it was only an itty bitty little thing (like my gf's swimwear), it once held 12k but by the time it was knocked down its capacity was all of 1800. It was the stadium of East Stirlingshire from 1921 to 2008. It was right next to the town centre of Falkirk. read more
