Some form of Rock is always playing instead of that poppy club crab. As far as equipment goes, they seem to have one of everything. Squat rack, a place for deadlifts, a hack squat, and good machines. They also are the first smaller place I've come across that has chains to clamp on a barbell. Dumbbells up to 150 I believe, though it may be 130. They also have a room for "spin" and zumba and the like. And some ellipticals. But who cares about that. I just love the family feel, the price, and that nobody looks at you funny when you grunt and sweat and really push yourself. Also, I've not yet found a day where it was really crowded. The review below (above?) me makes the last owner sound like a nightmare, but this place is allot different with the new owners, and they put allot of money into repairing everything before they reopened. Glad the last guy lost his business and had to sell.

The environment is fantastic, with so many great people and so much motivation. The workouts change daily, so you never do the same workout twice (something necessary for someone like me, who tends to get bored doing the same workout over and over again). The staff is incredibly receptive to questions and will help ensure you have the correct form for all your workouts. Regardless of the group setting, you always feel like you're getting the attention you need to succeed. Finally, the center itself is incredibly clean. Shoes must be clean prior to entering the floor, all equipment is wiped down after use, and everything always looks spotless. 10/10 would recommend!!

Instead, I was told that simply because my ID was out-of-state, I could not utilize the trial and would have to pay $35 for a day pass. The receptionist was nice enough, but explained that management was sticklers for this thoughtless rule. In using the day pass, the countless downfalls of the gym were blatantly clear: old, rundown equipment; dust and grime all around; poor ventilation--all culminating in a terrible experience. Not only was my money wasted, but my time as well.

Form is really important to her and I can see how the more accurate you do the exercise the better results you get. She mixes the classes up, so I never get bored, and she makes it an elegant way to workout. Highly recommend!
