They have some beautiful instruments at all different prices from many of the premium brands. They also have a great selection of pedals and some cool amps. But besides all the cool gear, Barnett's has some really down-to-earth people, which is probably the most important thing. The staff there is super friendly and accommodating. No attitude at all. Not like a lot of places I've visited, where you almost need a background check to touch a guitar. And if you want to be left alone, that's no problem either. If you love guitars (electric and acoustic), you should really make it a point to visit Barnett's. It's worth the trip.

Man was he right! The photographs of the collection don't really do it justice. Vintage and collectible Gibson's and Fenders. Along with a beautiful collection of acoustic guitars as well. But what really impressed me was how friendly the folks in there were. I was told that I could look around and play whatever I wanted, while I was standing next to a 1968 Stratocaster. I didn't play it but man it sure was beautiful. I would say this place could hold its own against Mike's Music in Cincinnati and the top floor of Gruhn Guitars in Nashville any day of the week. I was able to get out of there with just a T-shirt for my daughter, but I suspect my next trip back. I may have some spending money in my pocket. Just an absolutely outstanding experience.

The staff was great and tried to troubleshoot our issue to no avail and suggested that we order a new unit and see if it will power up before doing any extensive repair. I appreciate suggestions like that. He could have just said the unit is dead, replaced it and charged me more money. I purchased a replacement radio and it didn't work either, so I knew it was something else. I made an appointment for them to correct the problem. They stated their hourly rate and I agreed to the repair. I received a call less than an hour later saying they found the problem and had it fixed. When I went back to the shop to pick the motorhome up, I found out they only charged me for less than their hourly minimum. That's awesome customer service. Returned the next day to pick it up. Paul could NOT find it! Tried to get me to take a different ring that was $750 LESS than my ring. NO! Then Paul realized my ring was still at his jewelers. When the jeweler finally delivered my ring to Paul, he had 1 customer in his office, another person waiting, and I was running late for an appointment. So he handed me my ring, and I left. I realize that my ring is now missing 2 diamonds on one side. Called Paul and told him. We schedules an appt for the following day. Next day I drive 65 miles only to find a sign saying the store was closed for the day. I took my damaged ring to my family jeweler, that has been in business for over 30 years and DESIGNS rings. He tells me that Paul's jeweler broke the crown on my ring, causing the 2 diamonds to fall out. As well as, instead of adding white gold to my ring, his jeweler had simply stretched my ring's shank, causing the crown to crack, diamonds to fall out, AND the shank was so thin that it needed to be replaced. I texted Paul copies of my repair receipts and what damage his jeweler had caused. Paul REFUSED to reimburse my expenses. I do NOT recommend buying from this company. If you're a drummer anywhere near Oklahoma, Drum World in Tulsa is sacred ground…read more From the moment you walk through the door, you can tell this isn't just a music store -- it's a place built by people who genuinely love drums and the players who sit behind them. The selection is incredible. Walls lined with cymbals you can actually play before buying. High-end kits, vintage treasures, boutique snares, hardware that feels built to survive a tornado season, and accessories you didn't even know you needed. Whether you're a beginner building your first setup or a seasoned player chasing a specific tone, they've got you covered. What truly sets Drum World apart, though, is the staff. They don't hover. They don't hard sell. They listen. They ask what you're trying to achieve sonically and help you get there. It feels more like talking shop with fellow musicians than making a transaction. You walk out feeling understood, not upsold. Their knowledge base is deep -- tuning advice, head recommendations, cymbal pairing suggestions, hardware tweaks -- they speak the language fluently. And they treat every drummer with respect, whether you're buying sticks or investing in a flagship kit. There's also something inspiring about being surrounded by that many drums in one space. It sparks creativity. You want to go home and practice harder. Tulsa is lucky to have Drum World. It's not just a store -- it's a cornerstone of the local music community and a destination worth the drive. Five stars, without hesitation.
