The shop didn't really want to help her at this point. From experience at another Take 5 location, I knew right away what the issue was with the car. The air filter was put back in backwards after the usual "you should change your air filter". All the trash at this point was sucked into the airflow which caused the car to stall. I have a witness from a nearby business that came out to help my daughter see the assistance manager try to force the air filter out to check it. The struggle to remove it was due to the fact that it was installed back incorrectly. The assistant manager even asked for a key to try and get it out. At this point, they proceeded to tell my daughter everything they touched was fine and she was on her own. I had to have AAA tow the car to local dealership to be repaired. They even refused to let her stand in their shop (40 degrees outside) while she waited for the tow truck. Called corporate several times to report this. Received a call from the district manager telling me to send inspection video from dealership along with invoice and they would decide if they would reimburse for repairs. Just received a call from shop manager that they couldn't reimburse based on the findings from dealership. I had to have a new flow intake and to top it all off I had to have the oil changed again because plug and filter from Take 5's "service" was LEAKING. My repairs were $962 and Take 5 wants to take no responsibility for! I WILL BE TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!
