We were traveling to Texas from South Dakota with my 87 year old aunt and 8 year old cousin when my steering wheel started making sounds. I was concerned that the steering wheel fluid was off because I had just had an oil change. Larry Lynch went above and beyond in helping us troubleshoot the problem. We were able to safely make it back to Texas without incident. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. I will definitely turn to Firestone for future auto needs! read more

I always get my car service done here. The staff are friendly and share all information with me. They never talk down to me. Communication is good. The prices seem reasonable. They recommend service to me in a non-pressuring way and give me an idea of how long I can wait for the service if I can't do it today. I highly recommend this Firestone at Towne East. read more

If I could, I would give this place a 0. My sister brought her car in for an oil change. Instead of an oil change, they drained the transmission mission fluid. When she went to go pick up the car, they gave her the run around. It's been couple days now and her car still isn't fixed. Every time they call to inquire, the same run around answers. We might look into getting a lawyer at this point! read more

Why would they own equipment that scratch's peoples wheels and why did they schedule me in the first place and make me wait and waste my day away. read more

This place fucking sucks. I have had multiple bad experiences with this store. Back in early december 2023, my starter went out. My dad and I took my car to this location to get it replaced and they charged us almost $800 for a starter they had in house that cost at MOST $200. When I went to go pick my car up after this, I was ignored by the employees and was waiting for over 30 minutes for anyone to even come up to the front desk. This recent Saturday, my starter went out aga because it was faulty. I am not upset about the starter being faulty, I am aware that sometime stuff like that just happens and it's not in anyone's control. What I am upset about is that we also requested an oil change which was not done. What made me the most angry was about an hour ago, less than 24 hours after picking my car up from the shop, my car(most likely the starter) died again. I can understand one faulty starter but there is no need for this to keep happening AND for my oil to not be changed. I'd say the only competent or understanding person here is the manager, who gave us a discount on my last oil change after he learned what we paid for the starter replacement. Everything else about this store sucks, including the employees, prices and quality work. I'd probably be better off fixing my car at home because at least youtube tutorials are free and I'd know the work I need done is ACTUALLY being done read more

Love that's it's next to the mall so I can shop while I wait. The service was completed promptly. They did try upsetting me up that is always expected. They didn't push until I was uncomfortable. As a woman I feel very confident using this place for my auto needs :) read more

I've done business here on several occasions for my work place. The time before last I thought that the customer service was poor. The last time I went there the customer service rep was rude, impatient, condensing, and got super defensive when I asked questions. Also the workmanship and job knowledge displayed was questionable. I can not recommend this place to anyone. read more

DON'T BUY THE BS FROM SALES! TAKE THE QUOTE THEY GIVE YOU TO ANOTHER MECHANIC FOR A SECOND OPINION BEFORE YOU SPEND $$$ YOU DON'T NEED TO! A female friend of mine took her car in to have the tires looked at. Before she left, they gave her a 2000 dollar estimate to replace brakes, rotors, belts, and struts. The quote was not itemized by labor / parts. $400.00 of the quote was to replace the pads and rotors on the front wheels. I looked at the rotors, and they are smooth, no grooves, and still a lot of material on them. I called the "Sales" representative (not a mechanic) and asked by what standard they determine rotors need to be replaced. He could not answer. I asked how much of the $400.00 quote to replace the pads and rotors was parts, and how much was labor. He could not answer. Ceramic (lifetime warranty) brake pads at auto zone, $43.00. Took me 45 minutes to replace them. I also measured the rotors with a caliper, and they are WELL within allowable specification. Furthermore, they included $200.00 to replace (X2) belts that were "missing teeth". The belts on the car are brand new! (And incidentally are not the style with lateral "teeth" but rather the kind with longitudinal grooves. And finally, they told her she needed to replace all 4 tires, though only 1 tire was actually worn. The car has all wheel drive, so the independent axels don't require that ALL tires need to be replaced. In all, I cant write enough negative things about the service, and the shady way they try to oversell you and take advantage of people who want to keep their transportation safe and running properly, but may not know much about cars. read more

No appointment so I dropped it off with them stating it could be late afternoon before they got to it. This managed my expectation but then they called three hours later and had it done. Great job! read more

Close to restaurants, like Mediterranean Grill, and shopping so you can get some things done while they work on your car. Time estimates may be a little off but they will call you when they are done. read more

Firestone Complete Auto Care - On the road again - Tires Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

This review is for the location on Harry. I went for a squealing noise thought to be power steering. I was assured they did that service and could diagnose. At the time of the appointment I stood in the lobby for awhile not being greeted at all. Then they drove the car around the corner, said they couldn't replicate the sound and gave the keys back. Didn't check the fluid or the belt and had no interest in finding the problem other than, when I hear the sound again bring it back. WASTE of my time. read more

Worst experience ever. My husband waited for over 20 min to not even have someone so much as acknowledge him. The man behind the counter was more worried about devoting all his time & attention to a female. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

I rolled through here while traveling and even though they couldn't fix my unrepairable car they looked at it and gave me a true honest opinion that I needed to hear. Honest straight shooters here. They didn't even charge me to look at it. Thanks! read more

I dropped my car off to have it inspected and to fix an issue after my check engine light came on. They fixed that issue, but also suggested I replace my battery. I declined to have them replace it because it's less than 2.5 years old, the battery is serviced yearly, I haven't been experiencing any issues with the battery, and the same tests had been performed on the battery a week prior at another Firestone location and they said everything was good. Since picking up my car I am now experiencing issues with the battery so severe my car barely starts. I called the store manager to inquire about what could have caused this to happen and he couldn't answer any of my questions and just told me the battery was old. My intention was just to get information about what could have caused this issue and Mike accused me of implying that they had sabotaged my car. Other than being rude and unhelpful they overcharge so make sure to research the prices of the parts they are quoting you for before authorizing anything. read more

Surprisingly good for a chain store. I knew what was wrong with my car and I also knew the price range to repair it and the techs at Firestone were dead on. The car was repaired quickly and months down the road it is running great. read more

Made an appointment at 1230 and still waited over an hour before they even pulled my car in. Customer service was good, however appointment times should be honored and service should be prompt. read more

I just replaced two front tires of my car and oil change a few days ago. I thought that all I need for my car. However, the salesman service informed me there is another problem that needed to fix for my car per technician recommendation that would help my car stayed in good condition and drive safe. Thanks goodness! They have done a free check during tire installation so my car's problem got to find out. I trusted this service, I went to this store anytime my car needed to repair or oil change. read more

In the last few months I have had over $1500 of recommended replacements (battery, tires, brake rotors, etc.) on my two vehicles that didn't need replacing. As a man who has some mechanical experience, I was suspicious that these recommendations were less than honest, so I got other opinions from trusted mechanics in the area that discredited Firestone's recommendations. For years I used to brag about the honesty of this Firestone service center--but not any more! Must be a new manager or new company policy to push for unneeded sales. read more

I have been going to this store for over 10 years and almost always had a good reception but as the years went by the customer service became less friendly. As of yesterday, 6/24/16 I called and spoke with John whom I had dealt with all of these years and he was cold, condesending and rude. I thought maybe it was just a bad day which we all have but as I thought about it this was not the first time this had occurred with John. So I did not make my appointment to get my car repaired through him (that store is closer to my home), I went to another place and felt more comfortable giving them my money. I will not be going back to that store again. read more
