Such a disappointment. I placed an order and made an appointment for tires two days prior. At the appointment time, I sat there waiting for well over an hour before they realized they were sent the wrong tire size. They had nothing else in my tire size on hand, everything would take 3 days for delivery. I don't know why it took them so long to figure out the size was wrong! They didn't tell me until it was 5:30 and all other tire places were closing, when I said that I desperately needed them for a trip the next day, they said to try Calderon's instead (they didn't have them on such short notice but were super kind and patient, will be seeing them next week). All in all they wasted my time without doing anything to make it right, and caused a delay to a trip I desperately needed the tires for. I will not be returning, do not recommend! I decided to also to replace my brackets with a European replacement. The savings were good and the brakes are perfect. Since Monica and Christian have taken over management at the Watsonville Firestone it has been an amazing consumer experience. My most recent tire purchase is a good example: I purchased 5 new BF Goodrich KO2 (not Firestone) off road tires for my Wrangler and they vibrated the vehicle as if they weren't balanced. Firestone re-balanced the tires for free and after a road test agreed that they still vibrated the vehicle saying it was the poor compound and manufacturing of the tires (look up KO3 vibration, its a thing). So I was stuck trying to get BF Goodrich to take them back under warranty...Firestone took the lead and opened a claim and ordered equivalent Firestone tires which I requested. BF Goodrich processed the claim which meant weeks of back and forth and I had to pay for both sets and then eventually get reimbursed for the first set by BF Goodrich. Monica even pushed back on BF Goodrich wanting a 3rd attempt at balancing including some special way to mount the tires and instead made them start the claim. When I picked up the vehicle with the new Firestone tires she said that I didn't need to pay for them until I was reimbursed by BF Goodrich. The Firestone tires performed wonderfully providing a smooth ride. This is not the first time Monica has gone above and beyond and in doing so she has a loyal repeat customer. read more

Worst shop to take your car too dropped it off for a simple alignment and rotation and check up at 12pm no cars on the rack so should've been in after leaving get called and told some parts needed to be replaced was quoted at 800+ for repairs now I call because it's close to closing and haven't heard any update and I'm told the mechanic is having trouble taking bolts out because they're seized and that they have to hold the car overnight by no means did I ever drop the car off to be left overnight because I needed the car in the morning no updates no communication no nothing. Worst customer service ever never take a car there again. Pathetic and poor customer service. read more

While getting new tires at this shop they accidentally broke my wheel cover. They promised to find a replacement and make it right - ie - do the right thing. This was 9 months ago and they are ghosting me. I have contacted corporate customer service many times and each time with promise that a manager would contact me. Nothing. ***COVID SAFTEY WARNING*** I had tires installed at Firestone location #007110 in Watsonville. 30 minutes after giving the counter my keys, I watched as technician "Luis" drove my car into the service bay with NO mask, NO gloves, NO steering wheel cover. Simply he was taking NO precautions against the COVID virus. I was so shocked that I assumed I was mistaken so I watched when he finished and drove it again - absolutely NO precautions. I took a photo to document it and went inside to pay my bill and share my experience. I asked the store manager "Juan" to bring Luis in to the lobby where I showed both of them the photo. Luis' response was "I'm not going to argue the point with you I was just trying to get you out of here quickly so I'm sorry and whatever." and he walked away. Manager Juan's then directed another employee to "go wipe down his car". The other technicians on site were mostly wearing masks and gloves and most of the cars seemed to have steering wheel covers so I don't think this is an issue with Firestone - most of the crew "gets it" but the Manager did not seem to sany anything when he was working in the service area around Luis with no precautions so it seems to me this is an issue with 1 very lazy technician who doesn't care about others and maybe a manager who doesn't have the necessary skills. Would I go back to Firestone? YES - but I'll drive to Santa Cruz where my prior experiences have been very good. If I have to go back to this store, and I see Luis works there - I'm leaving. read more

Don't waste your time using them. I made an appointment for an alignment. The day of before I made my way I called just to confirm. The guy that answered the phone said the alignment machine just broke down. Whatever made an appointment to come in the next day. Arrived at 2:05 gave the guy my keys the guy said it would take about an hour. I waited till 2:45 no one touched my truck so left with out my alignment. My time is worth more that the 175$ for the lifetime alignment (which is a scam) don't buy the life time alignment. I have never been able to use the lifeline alignment. Every time I go in to get it checked they always have something to say about parts like ball joints, bearings or tie rods and they never touch anything. They just want you to pay them to replace all them parts so they can even attempt to align it. LIFETIME ALIGNMENT IS A SCAM. Drive to Monterey tire on Del monte and will take care of you. I brought my vehicle for an overall car inspection and oil change all went well except now I have a missing engine cover.

I came into Firestone to get a quote to have my brakes replaced. Last week, I had the dealership do a major service on my car and they told me I needed new brakes. Dealerships charge WAY too much, so I wanted to shop around. After waiting for 10 minutes at the front desk, the manager arrives. After I explained the situation, he told me that he needs to first do an inspection. This is AFTER I told him that I just had the car serviced and inspected, and all I need are brakes installed. He's goes on to say that I need to give them the opportunity ($20+) to do another inspection. I let him know that I'm not about to pay them for an inspection when I already know I need the brakes. He just stared at me. I asked again for an estimate. He held his ground that they need to do an inspection. I said Thank you and left. read more

I got an email saying I'd receive another email to confirm the appointment I requested and if it was unavailable I would be contacted to reschedule a time and date that works for me. I stopped by to have a screw taken out of one of my tires and the guy behind the counter finally came in to talk to me from the auto bay. I was the only one who was waiting for assistance and still still took more than 5 minutes to get what they say is customer service. I asked about getting the screw removed and he told me that he could have it done at 6pm. I said that's more than a three hour wait for a simple flat repair. He said yes. I asked him about tomorrow (Sunday) and her said it would take about an hour and a half to two hours. The service at this establishment is going way down. I had an unexpected flat tire from a nail. Firestone was the closest auto shop. Although it was a walk-in flat tire service, it took almost 2 hours to complete. Cost: ~$30. I was greeted and assisted by Jason, who was nice and wearing a mask and gloves. When I had peeked in on the status of my car from the lounge window, I saw that other staff were NOT wearing masks in the garage shop. THAT WAS CONCERNING FOR ME. When I watched my car pull into the shop, I couldn't tell if the staff member, who was driving my car, was wearing a mask or not and if a steering wheel cover was being used, but I saw that there was a seat cover placed. When my car was completed, I asked Jason if steering wheel covers are used and he informed me that they use that, seat covers and floor mats; he mentioned how he tries to have staff be compliant with wearing masks but "it's hard". As I walked out of the shop, I saw a car being pulled into the shop by a staff member who was NOT wearing a mask. So, I have reason to believe that the one driving my car was NOT wearing a mask either... Sooo, BEWARE. In my opinion, it defeats the purpose of having those 3 things being practiced (seat covers, steering wheel covers, & floor mats) IF the staff members DO NOT wear a mask when driving YOUR PERSONAL car and working around others. Also, it goes against the signs that are placed around their shop that state "Face Masks are Required". Best believe I disinfected/sanitized EVERYTHING in my car prior to driving off. read more

I scheduled an appt for an oil change. I arrived on time and left them my keys. I went shopping at a local store for at least 1/2 hour and I came out and my car wasn't even in bay to be worked on. I went inside and waited and waited. Total, It took them about 3 hours to do an oil change. I should mention that the restroom was filthy, too. While I was waiting, a customer came in to complain about how they didn't rotate his tires correctly, which caused serious wobbling. After trying to get them to correct the problem, they were unable to fit it. The customer wanted his money back. He had a lot of experience and knowledge with all vehicles, including trucks and RV's. The customer rep argued with him for awhile, which was unprofessional. I then cancelled my tire rotation, which would have probably taken at least another hour. read more

I confess that a few years ago I have a very bad experience at the Watsonville Firestone store. It was so bad that I contacted corporate. A waste of time to be blunt. But being a forgiving person I opted to go to this operation and give them another shot at it. Totally different experience that last three or four times I have gone in. Zero pressure, no bait and switch, no games. Fixed my car as promised, did not find any reason to upsell me on anything. Presented me with a bill and i was on my way. Not sure if corporate if better...or the nice guys who run the store have straightened them out. All I know is they now don't creep me out and have become a company I can trust with my car. Bad service! They wanted 4 hours to pull a nail out of my tire and patch it. So I said no thanks and left. I drove up the street to Lejes Tires and they fixed my tire in 15 minutes the moment I arrived. And they were just as busy as Firestone but somehow found 15 minutes to take care of me and get me back on the road. Thanks for nothing Firestone. I bought 3 new wheels for my car and wanted my old tires (which were nearly new and installed at this same facility months ago) swapped to the new wheels, plus I needed a new tire to swap to one of my old wheels to put in the trunk for a spare. I pick out a tire online and ask for an appointment. They call me and I tell them what I want. I get an appointment with no indication there's going to be a problem. I show up and of course they don't have the new tire in stock and can't order it or anything else in the same price zone. I say, no problem, I'll get that somewhere else. Just install my old tires on my new wheels. He says they can only install new tires on those wheels. Some bored dude who made zero attempt at customer service. Complete waste of my time. I was happy to see people--workers included--wearing masks and keeping socially distant. I had an appointment. I showed up on time but the person doing the intake, was working so slowly. He was entering something in his computer but didn't even acknowledge that I was there. Another person walked in behind me several minutes later when he finally said "be right with you."I patiently waited another 5 minutes before he helped me. By this time there were 4 people in line behind me,blocking the door which made leaving problematic to maintain social distance. I was made to feel like he was doing me a favor and helping me was a drag on his day. I don't take it personally because he treated the next 3 people the same way. Dishonest! I had my Tire Rack order delivered here to be installed. The service writer tried to up sell me with a balance/rotation package. The worst part is that he told me all 4 TPMS had to be changed because they might leak. This is just plain dishonest. From tire rotation to vehicle inspection on a check list. Its everything for a great price. Juan is awesome for listening to needs, going over your invoice and making recommendations without being pushy or money hungry. If only zero stars was an option. Where to begin....First off let me begin by addressing the rudeness and arrogance of the so called "manager". I had called prior to driving over and asked if an appointment was necessary or if I was able to go without one. I was told that an appointment wasn't necessary and I was able to just bring my truck in. So I show up and noticed that most of the shop was empty aside from 3 cars that they were "working on". I walked inside and spoke to the older Hispanic man ( didn't catch his name) and asked him how long it would be to have my truck worked on. This is where it all began to go downhill. Firstly, since when is it okay to address a customer by Rudely asking "what do you want" Okay? I should've left at that exact moment but I really needed the work done on my truck. Then I proceeded to tell him what issues I was having with my truck and asked if they'd be able to take care of those issues. To which he rudely and arrogantly responded with "Are you sure? Well, we'll see what's wrong with it when I run a diagnostic on it." So I proceeded to ask him if he could give me a rough estimate on how long everything would take. At which point he said "well, you'll have to bring it back tomorrow because it's too late and we're backed up." Keep in mind I showed up around 1 pm and there was only 3 cars in the shop. Worst customer service ever. 15 year customer of Firestone in Daly City ... dealing with these guys in Watsonville has been the worst service ever! If you have plenty of time to waste this is the place to go. Took a tire with a slow leak in 3 times over the course of a year and they stated they checked beading etc... got a nail in the tire where they were forced to remove the tire from the rim and voila no leak... of course that took the entire day because they lost the paperwork...less than a month later took the truck in with Less than 15k miles in to be balanced and rotated and they told me they are out of warranty.... uh huh they just serviced my tires less than a month for a nail... save your time go elsewhere! read more
