Had the old dreaded nail in the tire on a Sunday, so we noticed the good yelp reviews and brought it here first. The man at the counter was fast, efficient, and very friendly. We were lucky and the tire has not penetrated the tread so it literally was less than a minute and we were out of there. He did not charge us a cent but earned our repeat business in the future. He could've easily just strung us along and charged us 25 bucks - but he did the right thing - it's so nice to find a place that conducts themselves like that nowadays When someone does the right thing when they don't have to, you want to give them your business in the future Plus, in in out burger is next-door - and that can take the sting out of a hefty repair charge read more

Let me start off with the fact that I'm not from Central Valley, so when my car broke down after Bakersfield I panicked and I don't trust triple A's list of automotive repairs. I looked up a variety of spots to tow my car to and I called many of them and Justin from firestone Complete Auto Care was who answered. I am so grateful to have had Justin as the person who handled my car troubles because not only was he the most kind person I could've encountered but he was able to calm me down when I was freaking out about my car. He had such a positive attitude, and great communication skills. Justin kept me updated with any results and got an okay from me on everything. I came in by surprise with no appointment and the firestone team worked their best to fit my car into their busy schedule. The prices were reasonable but more importantly the service that Justin and their team gave me goes unbeatable. If my car ever gives out again, I hope I can take it back to this team! Firestone installed a faulty alternator. I ended up having to have it serviced elsewhere. It cost me $1200 to repair the damage. Firestone acknowledges they refused to service me for this repair. But I'm so disappointed they have yet to cover my Expenses. read more

I am very upset with my treatment as a female while trying to get a tire installed. I purchased a new OEM rim and tire online with a wheel installation package. I brought them to your location to install they showed me it wouldn't seat correctly. They said they tried to take some rust off the hub but said this rim wouldn't fit, but they didn't try it on another spot on the car. Brought the material back home and was able to get the rim on no issue. We found there was a tiny amount of overspray, but fixed that and tried putting the rim on 2 locations and both fit. I went back to get the wheel installed and they refused. They said we forced the tire on. Also the service manager said the customer was not always right. I brought the tire and wheel over to TF Tire & Service and they installed it with no issue. I will never come here or recommendation your store because of how I was treated. read more

After having my brakes inspected @FirestoneVisalia I was told my brakes were in near perfect condition (8mm front and 10mm rear) and that my brake issues were caused by the pitting on my front brakes. After being presented with the option to change the pads, I agreed under the condition that the squeaking would be gone. The squeaking is still present, though not as much. I scheduled an appointment to get them checked out, and I was not treated the same. The young man seemed very annoyed of me, and had me waiting in line just to hand him a wheel-lock for my vehicle. This was after I had signed the waiver/brake inspection sheet. Overall I simply feel like I did not get what I paid for and that I was not treated with respect the second time around. I can only hope that future customers do not experience what I have. read more

When you purchase tires they offer free tire rotations etc. which is a nice perk . What they don't tell you is that the wait is over 2 hours even when you call 2 days in advance for an appointment. There are other places .... read more

I am a loyal Firestone customer in Sacramento, Ca- my car broke down while i was out of town and i got the pleasure of speaking with Robert at the Visalia location. Robert was extremely personable and knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions over the phone. In talking with me Robert deduced my best plan of action would be to work with my vehicle's dealer directly as they would be better equipped to deal with my electrical problems. Irritated and frustrated with Firestone. Been going to them for last couple years, last oil change I specifically asked how my brakes were, was told they were fine. Took vehicle back a month later because transmission breather hose was leaking. Told they don't do transmission work and they don't do transmission fluid checks. Took vehicle to dealership found that transmission fluid was over filled- by firestone since they're the only ones who'd worked on vehicle. Had dealer check brakes- needed new front and rear brakes and front rotors. Frustrated that a place that specializes in tires and brakes didn't properly check mine. I won't be back. read more

I come here ever since I moved out here I saw the ratings on here and sure enough they are a very friendly staff. On rainy days they even walk you out with an umbrella to your car. I usually walk in and squeeze me in their schedule and they always have me out on the time I need to leave. Yes, Yes, Yes!! While I am accustomed to insisting on Dealer-Only service repairs on my Audi, I have to tell you, these competent, enthusiastic, individuals blew my socks off! Driving around on a Saturday morning BOTH my brake warnings lit up. Yikes! Made a few calls, and Audi recommended immediate service. I pulled into Firestone, basically praying they could make my car road-safe. (I commute long miles, and have NO time for dying). They told me they would do their dardnest to repair my brakes. I left my car in their capable hands, and, after they, apparently, called every parts Rep they knew, and actually got my parts, on a Saturday afternoon, They completed my service the SAME day!! And, here's the best part, it was HALF what the Audi dealership quoted me!! That included new Roters (sp?) and alignment and labor. Happy girl! My Audi drives better than ever. Oh, and the people working there!! Robert & Justin you really, really made my day! Thanks for inflating my bicycle tires, just because. And Ryan, thanks for greeting me in the parking lot with a big, welcoming greeting, and reassuring me I was in the right place for what I needed. And Kim, you are too cute-for-boots, darlin! I was, obviously, a little unhinged about my situation (no brakes) and you calmed and soothed me. You were kind, considerate, and informative. Sorry to say these guys have lost our long time repeat business. We used to bring my wife's car(s) here for lots of different issues, and we thought they were pretty good. However, when I got a flat on my Land Rover and was unable to remove the 5th of 5 lug nuts we had to have it towed. We went to Firestone but missed them by 15 minutes. So we filled out the drop box info, left the key and left the car there over night. The following morning when I called to check on the progress, they informed me "we got your key and order form but we do not work on Land Rover vehicles, period". Of course, we were surprised but t signed to towing the vehicle else where. But when the tow truck arrived the tried to refuse to allow me to have the truck loaded from the spot it had been left, they told me to drive me flat tire around the back of the building so the tow truck could load me out there. Of course, I flatly refused and after we loaded the truck and went down the America's Tire on South Mooney, they had the stripped lug off in 5". They offered to repair the tire, if possible, at no charge and wound up selling me 4 new tires at a fraction of the cost for the last set I put on that vehicle. Suffice it to say, Firestone lost our business not so much for not working on my type of vehicle but for how they acted and treated me when I had to to my vehicle away from their location. read more

I love this place! I took all 3 of my cars here before! I've been coming here for a long time! If it wasn't for the girl who used to work there I probably would've never returned lol them workers there are nice and funny! They are usually pretty fast at fixing my car! Every time I have needed them, they have always been there! I'm a go in there soon! Not hopefully for any more flat tires since I'm a be more careful lol but to replace my old tires and probably an oil change lol i like that they do a good job! I've been blamed from a different auto shop about my oil pan making a noise when that auto shop next to in n out broke it on my old car. I took it to this place and no problem so yea I was going to stick to this place! But all the workers are amazing! They actually call me to let me know my car is ready! Made an appointment to have my radiator flushed, they even had a coupon on their website to save a little more. After waiting about an hour, they told me my waterpump was leaking and wanted over $300 to replace it, even though their own paperwork states "NO VISIBLE LEAKS WERE FOUND" I declined to have it replaced, so they refused to flush my radiator.... They said it was against their policy because of a liability issue ??? I said I would sign that they made me aware of the Issue to release any liability against them, but they still refused. I had canceled other appointments to get this service done, so I was a little upset that I had wasted my time for nothing, and the manager had the audacity to say " I don't see what the big deal is" I called their customer service center for help in this matter, and they sent my complaint back to the store manager, who canceled my complaint. So I had to re-open my complaint at a higher level, contact the better business bureau, etc. Read the complaints online about Firestone Service Centers before you even think about taking your car here. Its the old Bait and Switch, they try to sell you things your car doesn't need to run up your bill, then when you refuse to get the extra service, they refuse to do what you originally wanted done. Oh, by the way, the "leaking water pump" they wanted hundreds to fix, was only a thermostat gasket with a slight drip. Cost 18 dollars to fix.......Go figure read more
