My wife brought our Jeep in for a front end alignment and inspection while I was out of town. they told her the battery was dead and they need to replace it in order to complete the work. They replaced our brand new battery and charged her an additional $281.00. When I returned home I brought the battery to Interstate Battery and it tested 100% State of Health. This place takes advantage of females and charges for work that doesn't need to be done. when I confronted them with the evidence they agreed to allow me to return the battery for a refund but will not reimburse me for the labor charge of $50 and charge me an additional $50 for taking the battery out. Great service during my first visit. I just recently moved to Victoria from the Oklahoma City area where I also had my car and tires serviced at a Firestone Complete Auto Center. The transition was easy as they were easily able to pull up my account from OKC and have my tires rotated and balanced as part of their lifetime rotation and balance program. They also identified a bad stud and cross threaded lug nut on one of my tires and fixed and replaced both at no charge. Friendly service and let me know exactly how long everything would take to fix. As long as I set an appointment, they are so fast. Still not too bad if I just pop in for somwthing basic like an oil change. Very good service, good price and the staff is very knowledgeable, nice and fun. The waiting area does get kind of hot but nothing unreasonable. Went in today to get my state inspection on my truck before I have to buy my sticker. I had a very small wait when I arrived. But, what I really liked about the guy that attended to me was that, he called on someone to get them to pay for their services. Then he was able to jump on another computer and check me in at the same time. I was impressed that he was able to multitask that. He was the only guy at the counter, I assume everyone was already getting ready to go home. I am just glad that they were open until 7. I work until 6 ish. So, it was a quick jump from work to Firestone. Which reminds me that I also was impressed with the guy at the he counter when he asked the customers checking out when I checked in of they wanted to get credit with them so they could save on their bills. The reason that impressed me was because it was already towards the end of the day and he could have to not said anything just to get done with those customers to move forward something else. The service didn't take long. And the guy told me I could get my alignment check done for free. Okay, one more thing to give an extra star to the guy at the counter is, when a young girl was going to drink water from the water fountain, he immediately told her that they have bottled water in the fridge of she wanted to grab one. That impressed me because he wasn't only working behind the counter alone, but he still had great customer service. That shows he has compassion toward others. I wish could I would give them negative stars. I had problems with them on and off but this last problem has taken the cake. I took my car and have an oil change and they can't even do that right. Firestone did not tighten my little my oil filter correctly it was loose the entire time I had that oil change. Then when I confronted him about it after being told it is been loose they told me that there was no it is they could confirm that I told them the technicians that I take my car still knows what an oil leak looks like and here's the name and the phone number of the person who did the work. Just one question if Firestone can't do an oil change correctly and tighten an oil filter on correctly and not leave oil all underneath the bottom of your car do you ever really want to take your vehicle to them no matter how cheap you'll changes because of the cost you an engine it's not worth it. read more

On 5/23/2015, replaced wiper blades to new evolution wiper blades. It should be 20" on passenger side but this store put 18" (but invoice shows 20"). On 08/24/2015, I asked the store to replace the wrong size wiper blade and they did. It's bigger then previous one. But......, instead of 20" on invoice, the store gave me 19" !!! I went to another Firestone in Victoria and they replaced it to correct size. If anyone plan to replace wiper blades on this store, don't forget to bring a tape measure. read more

I was scheduled today for spark plug replacement and differential oil change. My appointment was for 9am and I made it yesterday. They told me yesterday the work would take ~ 2 hrs and that I could wait on the job. Well......they did not even get to my car for 1.5 hrs after I arrived. It was 10:30am before the desk mgr informed me that it would be even longer before the work would start and then would take several hours. Needless to say, I grabbed my keys and left. This outlet disrespected their customer and my time. I wasted 2 hrs that I will never get back. I don't know if their schedule is just incompetent, or they were shorthanded or what. What I do know is my customer experience with Firestone was horrible and I will not go back. Customer beware. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star, but i was unable to give 0 stars. I bought tires and road hazard warranty, everything was good till i had a flat. The warranty is not honored by firestone dealers nationwide as they claim it is only honored at Firestone complete auto. And good luck finding one. After driving 80miles to this location after being assured i would be taken care of . Tires are prorated and warranty means nothing. The i had to purchase a new tire it cost me $10 less than what i paid new there was 50000 mile warranty on original tire i used it for 20000 miles. The math doesn't add up... I will never spend a penny on anything that has anything to do with firestone.. read more

I wish there were negative stars. I will never go here again. I was told a hour to an 1 1/2 hours for brake inspection and 2 tires. I have now been here for 5 hours and I'm still here. I've been going here since 2000, but the last time I came here was disappointed. My brother's car was having problems so I decided to foot the bill on my firestone card, so he took the car in on a Monday at 8am, around 2pm got a call that the part would have to be gotten from the KIA dealership, so we set the apt up for Thursday, and someone would come pick up my brother so he could get the car until then. Well come Tuesday morning my brother calls them at 10 am, and we get the sob story that they forgot to pick him up, ok come get him now, 30 mins later still waiting, I call them up, well the guy forgot the directions he went back to shop to get directions. What no cell to call? They finally call us to get directions, it's now 12;08 pm and we're STILL waiting ! Well I can tell you this is the very LAST time that place will get my business, I'll go to Rio-Grande store, they are nicer, and if they screw up then I guess my card will be paid off and not used anymore !!!!! read more
